S’POREAN MEN ARRESTED BY M’SIA POLICE FOR PEEING AT JB CUSTOMS’ PUBLIC AREAS

0

Two Singaporean men have been apprehended by Malaysian auxiliary officers on June 13 for engaging in public urination, as reported by the authorities at Johor Bahru South District Police Headquarters.

According to the police, the incident took place at the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex in Johor Bahru. Notwithstanding the presence of ample restroom facilities and clear signage directing individuals to them, the two men chose to urinate in a public area.

The individuals involved in this offense are aged 48 and 68 years, respectively. They are not related and committed the transgressions separately but on the same day.

On June 13, the authorities arrested both individuals under Section 14 of Malaysia’s Minor Offences Act 1955 (Revised 1987), which pertains to engaging in behavior considered disrespectful. If found guilty, they may face a fine of S$29.

Following drug tests, it was determined that neither of the men had consumed illicit substances.

The first suspect was formally charged in court on June 14.

As for the second suspect, ongoing investigations will be conducted under Section 6(3) of Malaysia’s Immigration Act 1959/63 due to concerns about their residency status in Malaysia without a valid pass.

Similar cases

Just last month, a Singaporean man was arrested for urinating at the prayer ablution area at the Johor Bahru Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex.

A video of the incident was posted online by a netizen who witnessed the act, and scolded him for being rude because the area where the man was peeing at is meant for Muslims to cleanse themselves before praying.

The incident also caught the attention of Johor Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi, who revealed that the man had been detained by the Malaysian police following the incident.

The man tested negative for drugs but did have a prior criminal record against his name.

POLICE ROBOTS SET TO BE DEPLOYED ACROSS S’PORE, GOT CAMERAS/SPEAKERS/SIRENS ETC

0

In a recent development, Singapore is set to witness an increased presence of police robots across the nation, following their successful deployment at Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 (T4) in recent months. According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), the initiative aims to expand the utilization of these robots in various locations.

Since April, two police robots have been stationed at T4, serving as a notable addition to the airport’s security measures. Channel NewsAsia (CNA) reports that members of the public can easily contact the airport police in their operations room by simply pressing a button on the robot.

The upcoming rollout of additional police robots throughout Singapore comes as part of Project MATAR (Multi-purpose All-Terrain Autonomous Robot), which has gained visibility in recent times. These robots are equipped with a 360-degree camera that offers comprehensive surveillance capabilities. Moreover, they feature an extendable mast to provide officers with an enhanced view.

One noteworthy functionality is that these robots allow members of the public to communicate with an officer in the operations room by pressing a designated button. Additionally, the robots are equipped with sirens, speakers, and display screens that enable them to make public announcements and warn individuals to avoid certain areas, particularly in situations involving suspicious or unattended baggage.

Superintendent Lim Ke Wei, the head of operations at the Airport Police Division, emphasized that the patrol robots operate autonomously alongside human officers, serving as an extra set of eyes on the ground. This integration of technology is expected to enhance operational efficiency and enable officers to fulfill their duties more effectively.

It is worth mentioning that the development of the MATAR robots, which commenced as early as 2016, gained significance during the Covid-19 pandemic. The robots have proven to be valuable assets in maintaining security measures and ensuring public safety.

OPERATIONALISATION OF PATROL ROBOTS AT CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 4

Since April 2023, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) has deployed patrol robots at Changi Airport Terminal 4 to augment frontline Police officers in conducting premises patrol. Besides serving as additional eyes on the ground, they project additional police presence in the airport terminal.

Patrol Robots as Force Multipliers

The patrol robot is the latest addition to SPF’s technological arsenal, capable of autonomous patrol and providing the Police with an enhanced situational picture to enable better decision and sense-making. The robot is also equipped with in-built speakers to broadcast audio messages and display visual information on its display panel.

It can also deploy a suite of interim intervention measures (blinkers, siren, and speakers) to enforce a cordon or warn bystanders during an incident prior to the arrival of resources. Its extendable mast with 360-degree field of view and two-way communications also enables the Airport Police Operations Room to have an unimpeded view of the live situation and direct communication with the public for better incident management.

The integration of robotics enhances the operational efficiency and capabilities of our frontline officers, enabling them to be more effective in their duties. The SPF plans to progressively deploy more patrol robots to augment police’s operations across Singapore.

S’PORE MAN NOT HAPPY HIS COFFEE SPILLED, THREATENS DELIVERY RIDER WITH 20CM KNIFE

0

In a recent incident in Singapore, a 32-year-old man was sentenced to eight weeks in jail for threatening a delivery rider with a knife, according to Lianhe Zaobao.

The altercation began when the man received a coffee order that had spilled. Instead of handling the situation calmly, he resorted to violence, holding a 20cm knife against the rider’s face and patting his cheek with the knife multiple times.

The man, identified as Firdaus, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal intimidation. Additionally, the court took into account another charge of using insulting words to cause distress to the victim.

What happened?

The incident occurred on 8th August 2022 at 1:45 am in Block 858 Jurong West Street 81. Firdaus had ordered food and coffee through a delivery application.

When the rider arrived at his unit and left the order at the door, Firdaus called him back. He questioned why his coffee had spilled and accused the rider of attempting to deceive him.

Frustrated, Firdaus threatened the rider, using offensive language and asserting that he would physically harm him.

To pacify the dissatisfied customer, the rider went the extra mile and purchased two additional packets of coffee for Firdaus.

However, upon returning to Firdaus’ unit, the situation escalated further. Firdaus brandished a 20cm knife from the kitchen and continued to berate the rider, even patting the rider’s cheek with the knife.

In a fit of anger, he threw the two packets of coffee onto the ground. Despite the rider’s repeated apologies, Firdaus remained hostile.

The rider, understanding the severity of the situation, lodged a police report after the incident. Firdaus’ actions were captured on tape by his own family, resulting in a one-minute and twelve seconds clip that served as crucial evidence during the court proceedings.

The motive behind Firdaus’ family recording the incident remains unclear.

Hoped for lenient sentence

During the court hearing, the prosecution sought a jail term of one to two months for Firdaus, emphasizing the need to deter similar mistreatment of delivery riders. Surprisingly, Firdaus opted to represent himself in court and pleaded guilty.

Expressing remorse for his actions, he acknowledged that threatening the rider with a knife was unjustifiable and hoped for a lenient sentence.

In delivering the verdict, the judge stated that Firdaus had overreacted and displayed unacceptable behavior. The judge considered the eight-week jail sentence reasonable and conservative enough.

Continuing its search, the dog appears perplexed, unsure of the exact location where its owner might have concealed himself. After a moment of contemplation, the dog abruptly moves towards the rear of the bush and successfully discovers its owner’s hiding spot.

MAN WANTS TO RETIRE IN THAI TO ENJOY AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF SIAM BU

0
siam bu

A man sends in his story of how he is planning to settle down in Thailand for endless supplies of Siam Bu.

Here is the story:

I treat every woman I date with the same generous level of respect, kindness and appreciation regardless of who they are, their culture, or their expectations for our relationship.

While there have been a few exceptions, in my personal experience Thai women are far more appreciative of being treated well than those I met in my experience and treat me better in return. I feel like I’m in a truly equal relationship and that’s extremely comforting.

I’ve had toxic relationships with both, I figure I hit the jackpot when I found a person that’s really great who just so happens to be Thai. It’s really hard to generalize.

Thailand is where I decided to make my life, so it’s only natural that I would gravitate toward the women of the place I have chosen to live. I personally think Thai women have a lot of offers and rank high, but at the end of the day everyone has their own preferences and nobody is going to persuade them differently.

Siam bu paradise

The abundance of beauty here is off the charts. Yes, there are beautiful women in other places but in the cities where you can’t walk for 2 minutes without seeing someone attractive. It’s like there is an endless supply of siam bu.

NEIGHBOUR ‘PIAK’ TOO LOUD, “NO NEED SLEEP”

0

A bit of context is needed and I apologize it may belong. It all started when my boyfriend (m27) and I (f27) moved in last year.

We introduced ourselves to our neighbour (f30ish) and she seemed great, super nice. We quickly learned that the soundproofing of this building is nonexistent, you hear everything. Regular toned conversations, showers turning on, TVs, you name it, we can hear it. I have tried my hardest to be a quiet and respectful neighbour but the neighbour this is about didn’t seem to care and often watched her tv at full blast and would have loud conversations on the phone at all hours. But it didn’t really bother me that much, what can you do?

A few months after moving in our neighbour had a guy “friend” over and it was loud. Headboard banging, slapping, screaming, loud. It was hilarious we thought, the first time. But this turned into an almost daily, almost always around noon, occurrence for about a month and this girl had lungs.

I could hear it everywhere in the building, toilet, downstairs. Just when I was beginning to get fed up with it and contemplating complaining to management, see I work from home and it was incredibly disruptive, it seemed someone else had enough and complained before me. Ah, the sweet relief of quieter s*x.

The screaming was toned down to moaning and I didn’t feel as assaulted in my own home anymore. I do think she thought we complained because she wouldn’t look at us anymore after that but I didn’t care, it was worth it.

Fast forward to two months, she and the guy and slowly was getting louder again. But I felt like I could deal with it since they normally happened around noon, or at least no earlier than 9. I had started working some days in the office as well so I wasn’t home to hear it as much, and most days I was gone before 7 am for my second job.

7:30am and I’m startled awake by a banging noise followed by some squeals and moans. I grabbed my pillow wrapped it around my head and tried to ignore it and sleep. 8am and I’m wide awake the noises were growing louder and the headboard was slamming with impressive force. I could feel the rage boiling up. My sleep is precious to me, I work two jobs and one is very heavy manual labour. Without thinking twice I grabbed our headboard and slammed our wall (the wall we share with our loud neighbor) and yelled not very nice things along the lines of “omg shut the **** up” and “I’m so ******* sick of this”. The silence from her side was incredibly satisfying at the moment and it has been beautifully quiet since.

GIRL SAID HER NEI NEI GOT ‘C’, BUT ALL HER DATES ARE JERKS

0

Guys are such jerks.

At least those I dated. I always seem to attract the bad ones. I am a pretty girl, standing at 172m, a part-time model and known to have flawless skin. So why is it that the guys I have dated are all jerks? I admit that I have my own set of criteria and standards when it comes to dating. He must be taller than me, built body and good looking.

It took me years of dating to abolish my criteria.

The guys I dated? Horrible! I have heard things like I shouldn’t eat so much or else I will get fat. This was during my birthday, we went for a buffet and when he saw how much I was eating, he said ‘Didn’t know you can eat so much.

But you shouldn’t or else you will become fat. Why not just eat the salad?’ I rolled my eyes, I was happy and I have a hearty appetite when I am happy. Duh. Another one only wants me to wear skirts, dresses or tank tops when with him, because jeans and tee are too unfeminine. Then there’s the one who would cancel all plans we made if ever I went to meet him without make-up. He would literally drag me to Sephora or whatever make-up store and buy for me on the spot. Hello? I have flawless skin, I don’t need constant make-up to feel beautiful. And this other one who constantly had s on his mind, always pawing me here and there.

So the above all are bad enough right? This takes the cake. We were on vacation and at a crowded swimming pool, when he said to me, very loudly ‘You know what? You should get implants’. Kid you not. He said that in front of so many people. I was so humiliated and embarrassed.

I am a good C cup, why on earth do I need implants?!

I am 27, tired of dating all the wrong guys. I see a few of my friends in happy, stable relationships and get all envious. I just want someone who can love and embrace me for who I am.

Doesn’t mind that I eat a lot when I am happy, lets me wear whatever I want, loves me even with no make-up on, respects me and treats me as his equal. At this point, looks don’t even matter, as long as we get along and sparks happen, then that’s good.

But where are you, my Mr. Right?

EX GEYLANG PROSTITUTE’S LIFE CHANGED AFTER STUDYING PRIVATE DEGREE

0

A former Geylang prostitute shared a story about how her life changed after she stopped having s*x for money and took a private degree instead.

Here is the story:

“Admin please keep my identity a secret.

I used to work as a prostitute along Geylang, my family was poor and I wanted to make quick money.

It was not the easiest of jobs because there were many risks involved.

Some of the risks include clients refusing to pay after fking, so I made it a point to collect payment first before service start.

There is also the risk of police raids and I have seen a few close shaves.

Of course, there is always the risk of contracting an STD because of the number of men that we fk.

Life hasn’t been very easy with the whole pandemic, business has been slow and I could make more money working in a proper job.

With the money that I earned and saved up over the years, I enrolled into *school name withheld* and am currently studying a private business degree.

My life is so much better and I don’t need to be at the mercy of men touching and groping me.

I’ve had so much s* over the years that I am sick and tired of it.

Thankfully I never caught any STDs as well.

Now I am living a much more peaceful life and my only focus is on my studies.

I spend my free time studying and working part time jobs to earn some extra money and kill time.

Nobody at work knows I used to be a prostitute.

Even my own family also doesn’t know, god.. Those were some chaotic times.

My family is also in a much better place.

Honestly this pandemic is like a blessing in disguise for me and I’m just glad that I don’t have to sleep with strangers anymore.

To all those s*x workers out there, be brave and take a leap of faith, stop degrading yourselves and do something worthwhile with your lives.”

Editor’s note: There’s a silver lining after all, really happy for you and hope you’re doing well in school.

FORTUNE TELLER TOLD MAN HE WILL “TIO 4D”, END UP HE “TIO STD”

0

A netizen shared a story about how a fortune teller told him that he would “tio 4D” but the only “D” that he “tio” was an “STD”.

Here is the story:

“I saw a fortune teller who charged me $10 to tell my fortunes.

I have always been a believer in these kind of things and i thought to myself, since its only $10, it can’t be a scam right?

I can’t remember what he said but he mentioned that I was very “wang”, which means lucky in chinese.

He added that I would have an unexpected windfall coming my way very soon, and he advised me to do more good deeds.

Well now that he told me, it’s not longer unexpected is it?

I had my hopes up and every Wednesdays and the weekends, I would religiously buy more than $50 worth of 4D.

It has been over 3 months since that meeting with the fortune teller, and the only money that I won was a iBet consolation prize, i won $30 from a $10 bet.

And maybe the fortune teller got it wrong when he said I would “tio” something because last month i went for a health checkup and found out that I had herpes, an STD.

Tio 4D don’t have la, the only thing that I tio is STD la knn.

My life is ruined.”

Editor’s note: Although there isn’t any cure for herpes, there are anti viral medications that can help prevent outbreaks bro. This one really suay sia lol
