MAN SCAMMED IN BANGKOK FOR THAI AMULET, “PROMISED LOVE & WEALTH”

0

It was the Bangkok night market that drew me in. The smell of grilled meats and fruits, the sound of vendors hawking their wares, and the colorful energy of the city was too much to resist.

I had been traveling around Southeast Asia for several months and had felt a deep connection to the culture of Thailand. I was determined to find something special in the night market that would bring me closer to the people of this land.

I would end up being scammed out of a small fortune in the process.

I was browsing through the stalls when I noticed an old man with a wooden box filled with trinkets and amulets. He was offering them as a means of bringing luck and good fortune into one’s life. I was intrigued and decided to take a closer look.

The man opened the box and showed me an amulet made of a small, red stone. He said it was a Thai amulet that was said to bring love and wealth to the wearer. He told me it was a powerful talisman that would bring me all the things I desired in life.

I was captivated by the amulet and its promise of love and wealth. I asked the man how much it cost and he said it was very expensive but he would give me a “special deal” if I agreed to buy it. He wanted me to pay him in cash. I was hesitant but in the end, I let my desire for love and wealth get the better of me. I handed over the money and took the amulet.

As soon as I had the amulet in my hand, the man disappeared.

It cost me 4,000 baht!!!!

The amulet was not a real Thai amulet and had no magical power. I had been taken in by the false promises of the man and had been tricked into giving him my money. I was angry and embarrassed by my own naivety and felt foolish for believing in something that was too good to be true.

I returned to my hotel room and tried to put the incident behind me, but the feeling of being scammed stayed with me. In the weeks and months that followed, I would think back on the night market and the man who had taken advantage of me. I felt foolish for believing in something so easily and vowed to be more careful in the future.

The experience of being scammed in Bangkok taught me a valuable lesson about trusting strangers and their promises. I learned that it is important to think before you act, even when the temptation of love and wealth is involved.

I was too desperate…

GF WANTS BF TO ACCOMPANY HER 24/7 DON’T EVEN LET HIM GO TO WORK

0

My girlfriend has become increasingly possessive and demanding over the past few weeks.

It started off with her asking me to spend more time with her, and while I was happy to oblige, it has quickly become a controlling problem. Now, she expects me to accompany her everywhere and never let me out of her sight.

She even goes as far as asking me not to go to work so that I can be with her all the time.

At first, I tried to reason with her and explain that I had to go to work and that it was important for me to do so. But she was having none of it and would get upset and angry when I told her that I had to go. She would tell me that I should be with her and not out working. She would cry and beg me to stay with her and it was becoming increasingly difficult to handle.

I tried to talk to her about it but she would just keep saying that she wanted to be with me all the time and that she didn’t want me to be away from her.

I tried to explain that I needed to work to support us and that it was important for me to do so, but she wouldn’t listen.

Finally, I had to sit her down and explain that I needed to be able to work and that she was not allowing me to do so. I told her that I loved her and that I wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, but that I also had to be able to work and make a living.

I explained that I was doing this for us and that she had to understand that.

She eventually came around and agreed to let me go to work. However, she still wants me to be with her 24/7 and doesn’t even let me go out with my friends or do anything on my own. She even gets angry if I’m working late and she feels like I’m not spending enough time with her.

I love my girlfriend and I understand that she wants to spend as much time with me as possible.

Anyone got brain doctor friend can intro? Before I jump down.

36 Y.O MAN JAILED FOR DOWNLOADING 13.6K OBSCENE FILES OF CHILDREN, INCLUDING BABIES

0

36-year-old Ansari Abdul Amin, was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment on 28 March for downloading more than 13,600 obscene photos and videos of children, after pleading guilty to possession of the obscene materials, according to The Straits Times.

The prosecution described Ansari as having an insatiable appetite for obscene materials involving children below 11 years old having intercourse with adults, with some of the videos even involving babies.

He had traded the files from 2016 to 2021 by sending messages to unknown users on Telegram who had publicly offered their collection of such content.

Between 2013 and 2014, Ansari started watching obscene videos on Telegram and stored the photos and videos on his phone by downloading them or importing them into his cloud-based storage account on Mega.

His Mega storage account was created in 2016 but after exceeding the allocated storage capacity, Ansari created a second account to store more content in 2017.

He first began watching the obscene videos of children from 2014 to 2015 after downloading them from chat groups on Telegram and deleted them after watching about 2 or 3 times a week for about 30 minutes each session.

He also kept copies of the files on his Mega storage accounts for his personal pleasure and would trade the files with other users on Telegram before deleting his chat logs on the messaging app.

He was eventually arrested at his workplace on 18 October 2021 after a tip-off about his downloading obscene videos involving children.

He was then found with at least 13,606 files stored on his second Mega storage account showing children engaging in obscene activities and poses.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Bryan Wong sought for 2 and a half years imprisonment for Ansari, saying that his depraved thirst for such content was insatiable and lasted for 5 years.

He added that Ansari was actively participating and fanning the highly sinister demand for obscene videos of children and that he was no “silent” watcher.

DPP Wong added that many of the toddlers, with some of them being as young as three years old, were subjected to unspeakable acts.

WOMAN THINKS SHE’S KOBE BRYANT, THROW SHOES DOWN FROM 3RD FLOOR HDB @ YISHUN

A woman was seen in a viral video shared on TikTok, throwing several pairs of shoes down from the 3rd floor of a HDB building in Yishun.

The video was shared on 27 March and purportedly took place at a Yishun Block 320, with the text “only in Yishun” emblazoned across it.

The woman was seen throwing several shoes from the corridor on the 3rd floor onto the grass patch below, with one of the shoes landing inside a joss paper bin, while the rest missed the “target” and landed around the bin.

The woman then disappeared from the video for a few seconds before returning with more “ammunition”, throwing some more shoes down to the ground level.

She appeared to be really enthusiastic about her free throw abilities, with a few of the shoes even landing on the tree branches below.

Running out of “ammunition” again, the women then disappeared once more before reappearing for the third time to throw a plastic bag to the ground floor.

MAN SAYS “HR DEPT IS LITERALLY THE LOWEST LIFE FORM”

0

I was having a conversation with a colleague of mine at work about the Human Resources (HR) department and how it’s often portrayed in popular culture.

We were discussing how HR has often been portrayed as the “lowest life form” in the corporate world. We both agreed that this portrayal was unfair and that HR departments actually play a vital role in any organization.

It’s easy to understand why some people might think this way.

After all, HR departments are often seen as a bureaucratic obstacle to getting things done. They are seen as the people who enforce rules and regulations that can sometimes seem arbitrary or even oppressive. And they can be seen as the people who are responsible for difficult decisions such as layoffs or terminations.

But, that is only one side of the story. If you look a little closer, you will see that HR departments are actually the ones who help ensure that organizations are running smoothly and that employees are being treated fairly.

They are the ones who help ensure that the organization has a safe and healthy work environment. They are the ones who help ensure that employees are getting the necessary training and development opportunities to grow in their careers. They are the ones who ensure that the organization is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. And, they are the ones who handle employee relations issues and grievances.

To me, HR departments are more than just a bureaucratic obstacle or the “lowest life form” in the corporate world. They are a vital part of any organization and they deserve respect and support.

That being said, I understand why some people may have a negative impression of HR departments. I think that it’s important to recognize that HR departments can make mistakes and that they are not perfect. It’s also important to remember that employees should always be treated with respect and that HR departments should not be used as a tool to bully or intimidate employees.

I believe that HR departments are an essential part of any organization and that they should be respected and supported. They play an important role in ensuring that organizations are running smoothly and that employees are being treated fairly and with respect.

On the other hand

I work for more than 10 companies and none of the HR were competent workers, maybe 1 in 100 employees are genuine and like to help people.

Most of them are…

I figured that there will always be a spectrum of people working in a company, a spectrum from capable to mediocre working skills.

and often times HR people always fall on the bad end of the spectrum.

MAN SAYS GO DATE WASTE TIME, “GO GEYLANG GOT GUARANTEED ROI”

0

I’m not sure how I ended up here.

It all began with a casual suggestion from my male friend, “Why don’t you go to Geylang and have some fun?” I politely declined and thought nothing more of his suggestion.

But then I heard it again. This time it was from another male friend. He said, “Hey, why don’t you go to Geylang and just waste some time?”

I was taken aback. I was not sure why he was suggesting such a thing to me. Was he serious? I asked him what he meant.

He then proceeded to explain that Geylang is a place where men go to find women for casual encounters. He said that it was a “guaranteed return on investment” because if you pay for the services of a prostitute, you are guaranteed to get something in return.

After thinking long and hard, I decided to confront my friend. I asked him why he thought this was a good idea. He simply replied, “It’s just a way to have some fun and waste some time. What’s wrong with that?”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. How could he think that this was an acceptable way to spend my time? I explained to him how disrespectful and dangerous it was. I told him that there were many risks involved and that I could get into trouble if I went down this route.

My friend seemed to understand where I was coming from and conceded that it may not have been the best suggestion.

He then said: “One day you will know one la, you continue go find dates online la, pay dinner pay until ur finger bleed also get nothing in return, only G-Land is 100% ROI”
