MAN KEEPS TRACK OF GIRLS HE F- IN A NOTEBOOK, SAYS NOW GOT 200 PLUS

0

I never intended to keep track of the number of girls I’ve slept with. It was never a goal of mine or anything I was particularly proud of.

Decided to keep track of it for fun

But about four years ago, I realized that I had slept with quite a few girls and decided to start writing down their names in an old notebook.

At the time, I thought it was a harmless exercise. Just a way to keep track of the people I’ve been with so I can boast if a friend asked me the number.

I never thought it would turn into something that I’ve kept up with for so long.

Recorded 200 over names

But here I am, four years later and I’ve got over 200 names in my notebook. And I have to say, it’s been a wild ride.

I’ve had some amazing experiences with some incredible women and I’ve met some pretty interesting people.

I’ve learned a lot about the different types of women I’m attracted to and the different types of relationships I prefer.

I’ve also learned about the importance of communication and respect in any kind of relationship.

It’s been an interesting journey, to say the least. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the notebook once I’ve filled it up. Put it away and start a new one, maybe? I haven’t decided yet.

But I do know that I’m going to keep track of the people I’ve been with, because it’s been an interesting and educational experience. I’ve learned a lot about myself and I’ve grown a lot as a person.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to say definitively how many girls I’ve slept with. But I do know that I’m proud of the experiences I’ve had and the people I’ve been with.

And I’m proud that I’ve kept track of them all in my notebook for the past four years.

MAN SAYS NOW NO POINT TAKING MANUAL LICENSE, TAKE AUTO IS NOT ‘GU NIANG’

0

I have recently come to the realization that there is no longer a point in taking a manual driving license now.

As cars become more and more advanced, manual transmissions are becoming obsolete.

Nowadays even sports car also auto already

Even the most advanced sports cars now come with automatic transmission options.

Even the most basic economy cars now come with automatic transmission as standard.

This means that if you want to get a car with a manual transmission, you will have to look for a used car.

But even then, you are more likely to find an automatic transmission than a manual.

Taking auto is wise, not gu niang

People always say men should take manual because take auto is like gu niang, only women will take.

This people belong to the dinosaur generation.

There is no point competing who is more ‘man’ when it comes to driving.

Rather, it is more worth to be wise and make wise decision.

Even vans are starting to be automatic so there is really no point in taking auto anymore.

So, in conclusion, there is no longer a point in taking a manual driving license now. Cars are now mostly automatic transmission and taking an automatic doesn’t mean you are any less manly.

MAN BOOK GRAB FOR WIFE, DRIVER ASKS WHAT HIS WIFE LOOKS LIKE, MAN SAYS “SHE’S A WOMAN”

TikTok user Yong Wei (@yongwei92), who is working as a Grab driver in Singapore, shared how he received a booking a few days ago, where a husband booked a Grab ride for his wife to go home.

He said he isn’t sure why the wife can’t book Grab on her own, but nevertheless, he accepted the job but there were a number of issues.

The first issue was that the pickup location was wrong, the husband called the driver and told him about the mistake that he made and Yong Wei understood and still proceeded with the job.

However, when he reached the pick up location, he didn’t see anybody there at all, and the husband then called him again, asking him “bro do you see my wife or not?”

Yong Wei said that he was like “HELLO BROTHER! I DON’T KNOW HOW YOUR WIFE LOOKS LIKE!”

The man then started describing what his wife looks like to him, saying “my wife, she’s a woman,” and a befuddled and confused Yong Wei started shouting inside his car:

“BROTHER, OF COURSE I KNOW YOUR WIFE IS A WOMAN. CAN YOU DESCRIBE OR NOT, ABANG, INFORMATION (a bit), SOMETHING USEFUL!”

The husband then told him that “my wife is a woman and she is wearing black colour,” and the driver then asked him if he could ask his wife to wave at him or something because there were 3 different women at the pick up point wearing black.

“I don’t know which one is your wife, cannot anyhow pick up.”

Yong Wei was about to cancel the job when he finally located the man’s wife – she had been waiting at the drop off point and not at the pick up point.

He added that when the woman finally entered his car, she was angry at him and didn’t want to talk at all.

MAN TOLD “THE GIRL IS OUT OF UR LEAGUE”, ASKED HOW TO GET INTO THE LEAGUE

0

When I say that I like a really good girl, my friends say this to me, “She is out of my league. She is too pretty, smart and her personality is great. She will have more options and she won’t even consider you. You need to lower your expectations bro.”

I hate this line “please lower your expectations”.

I only have one question to everyone, “How do I get into the same league or a better league than great girls?”.

What should I work on?

What makes someone attractive despite their disadvantages?

Please share some actionable steps.

If you believe that I should just look for someone within the same league or that I cannot improve myself, then I think you should not read further.

Here is a little background about me:

I am kind of on the lower end for looks because of a specific health condition.

I also have a background which is a little disadvantageous and people constantly look down me.

These are issues I have no control over.

I don’t want to lose out because of things that are not in my control.

This is not even my fault.

No one, from my friends to relatives, believe that I can get someone good in my life.

Here are things I am already trying to do:

I am already going to gym to get into shape. Due to an injury in army, I cannot get into an ideal physique but I try to get as close as I can.

I am working in an average but meaningful job. I have worked extremely hard and have made some achievements there, even been featured .

I have also worked on my social skills (reading books, watching videos) by trying to be more funny and actively listening to people to have more meaningful and deeper conversations.

Despite all my effort thus far, I am still not going any further.

Dating apps are brutal because they are 80% based on looks (no matter what I write on my profile) so I get practically no matches.

I have tried physical dating events and have had some slight success. The girls say that they enjoy the conversations with me but they don’t want to be romantic partners. Some even offered to be friends.

I have no idea where I am screwing things up. Things seem to keep repeating.

I am still in a league below them. I am not sure how to climb up further.

If you have any tips, please do share.

Thanks!!!

MAN CAN’T SEEM TO SWITCH OFF FROM WORK & HAVE PROPER REST

0

To be honest, I am really, really, tired of life.

Work has consumed a large part of my life and I cannot seem to switch off from and about work, even after working hours.

I start thinking about work the moment I wake up and I feel the dread having to deal with a duty that puts me on 24/7 (seemingly). It was originally a manager’s duty whereas I am definitely not capable of that position at the moment and the duty had definitely put a huge strain between our working relationships.

I don’t usually speak about my feelings about friends and family members in my life, but feel that the loss of a friend and my grandparents had greatly affected me on top of the shit I have to deal with at work. Grief eats you up and I am definitely at a better place than I was last year, but the recent death of my Grandma made me wonder if it is worth it giving so much of me to work and caring about what colleagues think of me.

Sometimes I wish I would just leave this world in my sleep. Till then I will finally no longer have to respond to shit and deal with shit at ungodly hours that affects sleep quality which literally ruins your entire work day.

Sidetrack. I am sincerely grateful to the few that have been morally supporting me and putting smiles to my face. But I am really.. tired. One day when I am gone, please just remember that I have ever been kind to you.

Here are what netizens think:

  • Working is only a part of life, don’t let it take over your life. Quit and take a long break from work and start looking after your mental health.
  • Its time for you to take a step back and relax. Work has put u under a huge stress. U need a job that dont makes u think of work when at home or outside while u are trying to enjoying life. Dont let work be the source of ur tired towards life. Life is not supposed to be like that. Slow down, take annual leave or something and relax urself at the same time think about what kind of life u want to have and are willing to reset and make changes to ur life. Gd luck
  • You are overwhelmed. It happens to anyone. Take a step back & learn to say NO. If not possible to reject request & doing it is too much to bear, then it is time to move on. I did that & i am a happier person now

S’PORE MAN SAYS REPAINTING “SPOOKY” TAMPINES HDB IS “STIFLING” CREATIVITY

0

In the sixty three years since the Housing & Development Board was founded in 1960, it has always been at the forefront of pushing for new innovations, new technologies and new design strategies.

It would be naive of anyone to think that all that we enjoy in a contemporary HDB estate, block and flat are things that happened overnight. Like all processes, what is unsaid and often forgotten is all the trial and error that goes on behind the scenes by the tireless architects and engineers working on Singapore’s public housing.

We really shouldn’t assume (contrary to what we may be led to believe) that everything is done right on the first attempt. In many ways, public housing in Singapore is a constant work-in-progress. Some new things work, some don’t. We adopt the things that work and continue to refine those that don’t. Those are facts of life we need to accept.

I went to photograph the yellow lift lobbies at Blocks 641A, B and C at Tampines St 62 early this morning because I fear that like their red brethren at Block 640A, their ceilings and walls will not remain yellow for long.

These lift lobbies have been the talk of the town in the past week, mainly due to a deluge of social media posts about them, much of which has been negative.

Interestingly, most of the viral posts have failed to mention the EXTENT of the colour scheme which really (as you can see in my images) stops at the lobbies. The rest of the common corridors are executed in a plain vanilla HDB manner we are so familiar with.

The lesson here really is not to believe everything you see on social media, because like photography, it is very much capable of telling half truths.

Someone even wrote a strongly worded letter to the Straits Times saying that “(t)he idea that public housing needs to be given “a little more character” is misguided at best and a form of elitism at worst.”

I am guessing this person did not witness for himself the attempt by the HDB in the mid 1980s to the late 1990s to build identity for different estates precisely by adding character to the otherwise nameless and faceless blocks.

He goes on to say that “HDB dwellers should not be regarded as subjects in an experiment in which architects and designers get to try out new designs that might not pass muster in private housing.” I hate to disappoint him but which part of surviving on a tiny island state with no natural resources is not an experiment in one way or another?

Anyway, back to the lift lobbies.

Lift lobbies are by nature liminal spaces. They are areas of transition, where one isn’t expected to dwell for extended periods of time. This makes them the perfect location to execute an exercise in wayfinding and block identity in an estate where all eleven blocks have identical facades.

I applaud how the architects have attempted to address this by using the bold colours. Unfortunately, and now we know, some residents have found the colours (especially the red) overpowering. This is exacerbated at night, and that has been the main bugbear for residents.

Well, from what I read, it appears that soon the yellow ceilings and walls of Blocks 641A, B and C will be painted white as well, and all we will have left are photographs of what will now go down in Singapore public housing history as a really bold attempt at using design to address a problem that may have been taken a step too far.

It is good that the HDB has taken immediate steps to address this public backlash but we should remember that not all backlash is justified. Some social media posts really exist only to generate likes and views. We can only hope that the HDB is able to recognise this and deal with things with a levelheadedness we are seeing now for future scenarios regarding other yet unsurfaced issues.

Remember, innovation in design doesn’t happen overnight. Unless we are happy living in faceless boxes where we can never find our way around, we should be mindful of how stifling some public feedback can be to design.

MAN REJECTS JOB OFFER AS HE IS TOLD TO ASK HIS FRIENDS TO BUY “HEALTH PRODUCTS”

0

It was a typical Monday morning when I was checking my emails and saw that I had one from a potential employer. After months of searching and applying, I was finally being offered an opportunity to work with a very big company. I was thrilled and couldn’t wait to accept the offer, until I read the fine print.

The company was offering me the job of a “Health Products Consultant”. I was expected to promote their “health products” and get my friends, colleagues and family to buy them. This was a huge red flag for me and I knew I couldn’t accept the offer.

No matter how much I wanted the job and the salary, I knew I could never bring myself to ask my friends and family to buy something I wasn’t sure about.

I had no clue about the company’s products or the quality of them. I had no idea what kind of ingredients were used and if the products were safe to consume.

Not only that, but I was also uncomfortable with the idea of promoting and marketing a product to people I knew. I didn’t want to be the one responsible for convincing people to buy something that they may not even need or want.

I felt like I was in a difficult situation. On one hand, I was being offered a great job opportunity and a good salary. But on the other hand, I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of promoting the company’s products to my friends and family.

So, I decided to reject the job offer. I sent an email to the company explaining my reservations and thanking them for considering me for the position. I was honest and polite in my response, but I also made sure to make it clear that I couldn’t accept the offer.

I know that I would never be able to look myself in the mirror if I had agreed to the job and asked my friends and family to buy something I wasn’t sure about.

They send me another email

They started to explain that it is a lucrative job and told me to think twice saying that the boss is driving a Mercedes and has an extra BMW at home.

It started to sound more and more like a scam.
