MAN KICKED & BROKE LAMBORGHINI’S SIDE MIRROR BECAUSE DRIVER PARKED ILLEGALLY

0

A man in Malaysia was seen kicking out at a Lamborghini for allegedly parking illegally, breaking the side mirror in the process and ending up being arrested.

The incident purportedly happened in Penang, Malaysia, and shows the Lamborghini being parked next to a bus stop, which is apparently illegal in Malaysia.

Sin Chew Daily reported that the Lamborghini driver had parked the car there to have lunch at a Cai Png stall nearby.

Soon after, a man in his mid-40s was seen riding on his bicycle at shouting at the luxury car after seeing it parked at the bus stop.

He then continued his outburst at passers-by who were watching and loudly protested at the Lamborghini’s illegal parking inconveniencing other people.

In a fit of rage, the man then kicked the Lamborghini’s bumper as well as the side mirror on the right side of the car, leaving it broken and dangling.

Soon a crowd formed around the car and the Lamborghini owner then came out to see what the commotion was all about.

He then saw his vandalised and damaged car before calling the police for help, and the man was then arrested before being released later that night.

The driver asked for a rope from the cai png stall to help secure his broken and dangling mirror before he drove off from the scene.

JAPANESE EXPAT IN SG SAYS HER MONTHLY EXPENSES IS $10K, CITES RISING RENTAL COST

0

A Japanese YouTuber based in Singapore, Ghib Ojisan, posted a video on his channel about a group of Japanese expats in Singapore cleaning rubbish across Singapore.

The group of expats started off their cleaning at East Coast Park before going on to cover areas such as Chinatown and the Japanese Garden.

Among the rubbish that they found at East Coast Park, which filled up more than 5 buckets, were things like a needle, a syringe, razor blades and a discarded wallet.

They were also seen checking out the toilets in Chinatown to clean but gave up because of the horrendous conditions, which was censored in the video.

However, despite picking up so much rubbish, one of the expats still said that compared to her hometown in Yokohama, Singapore is still cleaner.

High cost of living in S’pore

The expats spoke to Ghib Ojisan in a candid interview after the cleaning and shared about what it’s like for them living in Singapore.

One woman told him that her monthly expenses come up to almost $10,000, with the expats citing the rising rental costs as one of the reasons, and also their need to take care of their family.

However, despite the expensive cost of living, the expats were still happy to stay in Singapore, as they loved the mix of cultures here and how safe it is in Singapore, which is great for raising children.

Summing up the video, Ghib Ojisan shared that the expats managed to collect about 10 to 25kg of rubbish, as he urged Singaporeans to do their part to help keep the country clean.

He suggested taking a leaf from the expats and volunteering or donating to the organisations that clean the environment.

TURF CITY’S CHATUCHAK MARKET TOO CROWDED, LONG Qs & SOME DIDN’T GET TO TRY ANY FOOD

0

TikTok user @runawaykim posted a video of his experience at the Chatuchak Night Market Singapore at Turf City on 12 February.

He was seen in the video struggling to get through the densely packed crowds at the market, as he filmed himself shaking his head in disappointment.

He even captured another visitor grabbing onto their friend’s shirt so as not to get separated.

He lameted how he didn’t even get to try any food because of the huge crowds and long queues, and summed up his experience there as “10/10 would…… not recommend.”

The netizen who took the video, Hakim, told MustShareNews that his experience at the night market was dreadful, and that as he drove to the market, the road that was leading to it was packed with vehicles.

He said that it took him “triple the time” to reach the market, and he also faced more challenges in the form of trying to get a parking lot, which was made even more difficult with the narrow roads and big crowds.

Hakim also lamented how it was almost impossible to get any food to try because he couldn’t see where the queues were starting because of how long the queues were, mixed with the crowd.

One of the queueing customers reached the front of the queue and was told to get a ticket from the cashier, and ended up having to re-queue.

Netizens’ comments

MAN MAKES FUN OF NERDY FRIENDS IN SCHOOL, NOW THEY ALL MARRIED BUT HE SINGLE

0

I remember when I was in school, I used to make fun of my nerdier friends. I would joke about their lack of social skills and the fact that they never seemed to fit in with the popular crowd.

I thought I was so cool, so much smarter than them. Little did I know that all of those friends of mine were destined for success.

They are much more successful than me now

Fast forward to now and those same friends are all married with kids and living their dream lives. Meanwhile, I’m still single and struggling to make ends meet.

I can’t help but feel a little jealous of their success, but at the same time, I’m so happy for them and proud of what they’ve achieved.

Being popular in school is useless

It goes to show that it’s not always the most popular kids in school who will be the most successful in life.

I now realize that my nerdy friends had a lot of potential and that I should have supported and encouraged them more.

I should have seen their potential and not laughed at their awkwardness and lack of social skills.

I’m reminded of this every time I see one of my old friends at a reunion. They always look so happy and content with their lives, while I’m still struggling to figure out what I want to do with mine.

I can’t help but think that if I had been more supportive and encouraging of my nerdy friends back then, maybe I’d be in the same position as them now.

It makes me think about what I could have achieved if I had embraced my nerdy friends back then and taken their advice more seriously.

I’m also determined to make something of myself and prove that I’m just as capable of achieving great things as my nerdy friends.

S’PORE BUS DRIVER SPOTS GHOSTLY FIGURE ON BUS’ CCTV, GOES TO CHECK & NOBODY THERE

Chilling video footage emerged online showing a bus driver in Singapore catching sight of a ghostly apparition on his bus’ CCTV cameras, according to Mothership.

Facebook page Supernatural Confessions posted footage of the ghostly encounter that was sent to them by Syed Wilson, who runs the Dark Arts of Syed Wilson Facebook page.

They said that the footage was taken by a bus driver in Singapore, who noticed someone (or something) sitting on the upper deck of his double-decker bus.

However, he knew that there was no one on the bus at the time and when he went up to the upper deck to check things out, he found nobody at all.

Black figure seated & looking down

The video begins with the bus driver filming his driving station inside the bus as the buttons beeped before he panned the camera up towards the CCTV panel above him.

There appeared to be a man dressed in black wearing what seems to be a hat, seated on one of the outer seats and looking down.

The CCTV footage also reads: “Passengers in bus: 0” despite there being a “man” sitting right in front of the camera.

He muttered to himself “it’s too early for something supernatural to happen, how can there be anybody upstairs?”

Had asked the “person” to come down earlier

The driver then went up the stairs onto the upper deck, where he found nobody at all, saying “SIAL LAH TAKDE ORANG KAN! (there’s nobody here)”.

Visibly spooked out by this point, he said out loud to himself “I even asked the ‘person’ to come down just now” before hurling an expletive.

He then walked all the way to the back of the bus to check on every seat to confirm that there was indeed nobody, before the video cuts off.

Not to spook anyone else further but based on the bus’ screen, it was a bus service that runs along Punggol.

SIAM BU LEFT SPORE TO WORK IN JB, FINDS A BF THAT LOOKS LIKE ME

0

I met a beautiful siam bu at a siam diu at Golden Mile.

Her name was Ploy (not her real name) and we instantly hit it off. She was sweet and kind and we enjoyed each other’s company. We had a great time dancing and drinking together. We eventually started dating and I was in love with her.

Left Singapore to work at a diu in JB

Unfortunately, Ploy had to leave Singapore to work in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I was heartbroken but I knew that this was something she had to do for her career.

We kept in touch through Line and WhatsApp, but it was difficult to maintain our relationship from such a distance.

We eventually ended things as it was almost impossible for me to keep doing into JB everyday when I hold a full time deskbound job in Singapore.

Found out she got together with someone who looks like me

Time passed and I started to move on with my life. I focused on my job and tried to forget about Ploy.

Then one day, I received a message from her. She had found a new boyfriend and wanted to let me know. She sent me a picture of him and I was shocked. He looked exactly like me.

At first, I was angry and jealous. I couldn’t believe that Ploy had replaced me with a man that looked just like me. I was so hurt that I decided to block her on all social media platforms.

I wanted to forget about her and move on with my life.

However, after a few months, I started to think differently. I realized that I had no right to be angry or jealous. Ploy had the right to choose whoever she wanted to be with.

I accepted that our relationship was over and I wished her all the best.

I just wonder if she eventually goes back to Thailand, would she also find a Thai guy to settle down that also looks like me.

GIRL GETS JOB DUE TO FATHER’S CONNECTIONS, BUT ALWAYS LATE & ASK FOR WFH

0

I recently had an employee who joined my team without having the need to go through the many rounds of interview that a normal job applicant to my company would need to go through.

For context, the company which I am working at is one of the more prestigious bank in the world and it is quite hard to get a job here.

Got in through her father’s connections with some higher ups in the bank

This new employee, lets call her G to make it easier, has a father who is also in the banking industry for a decade or so.

He has made a name for himself and has connections with a lot of higher ups in a lot of banks.

So naturally when G wanted to enter the banking industry, her father tried to pave a way for her by asking one of our higher ups if he could arrange for a position for G.

Always late for work and always ask for WFH

The first day G was supposed to report for work, she was already late by over an hour.

You could smell from her clothes that she had been to a club as the smoke smell was still very pungent.

She was apologetic when she arrived late and had a good attitude which I was pleased with so I ignored the fact that she was late and tried to get her settled down.

It was also probably because she was introduced into the position by one of the higher ups which was why I did not dare to go so hard on her.

However, I quickly became frustrated with her.

She was always late for work by an hour or two, and she always asked to work from home because she did not want to come to the office.

She would also constantly take long toilet and lunch breaks and would always be on her phone chatting with people and playing Mobile Legends.

This made me couldn’t help but think that she only got the job because of her father’s connections with a higher up in the bank.

Decided to talk to her to try to help her improve

One day, I decided to confront her about her lack of punctuality. I asked her why she was always late and why she always wanted to work from home.

She gave excuses like her house is very far from the office and it always jams on the way to the office.

She also always uses her father’s and the higher up in the bank’s name as an excuse.

She would say that she went drinking with her dad and the bank higher up which was why sometimes she cannot wake up on time.

I was speechless but I told her that I understood, but that I still expected her to be on time and to be present at the office.

Ignored my advice

Unfortunately, my words had little effect on G. She continued to be late and to ask to work from home, sometimes not even informing me about wanting to work from home.

I would only find out about it when the higher up in the bank gave me a WhatsApp message to let me know that her father told him that her daughter had to work from home that day for a particular reason.

Eventually, word about her behaviour and attitude spread throughout the bank’s office and it soon reached the ears of the higher up.

He addressed us to stop spreading the rumours and said that he would speak to G and her dad to see what can be done.

We never ever saw G after that day.

A BMW had caught on fire and went up in flames in the middle of the road along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) heading towards Changi Airport on 12 February.

The Singapore Police Force said that they were alerted to a car that had skidded along the expressway at about 4.40pm on 12 February.

A 50-year-old man was conveyed to the hospital conscious.

A video of the incident emerged on social media, with TikTok user @sumonsumon666 posting a video of the car burning in the middle of the road as thick black smoke billowed from the fire.

What appears to be a detached tyre could also be seen lying a distance away from the wreckage of the burning vehicle.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force also confirmed that the driver was sent to Singapore General Hospital conscious, and that the fire was extinguished using two dry extinguishers and a hose reel.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
