MAN FOUND OUT HIS GF ONLY SHOWER ONCE A WEEK, REFUSE TO MARRY HER

0

I had been dating my girlfriend for four years and I thought I knew her inside out. We had been talking about getting married for the past few months, and had even started looking for venues for our wedding.

We were both so excited about this milestone in our relationship and I thought I had found the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

Then I found out that she lacks personal hygiene

But then one day, I found out something that completely changed my opinion of her. A mutual friend had let it slip that she only showered once a week.

I was completely taken aback. I had no idea that she was so unhygienic and I couldn’t believe that she hadn’t mentioned it to me.

I was so shocked by this news that I decided to confront her about it. I asked her why she only showered once a week and she told me that she didn’t see the point of showering more than that.

She also said that to musk her smell, she would often spray a lot of perfume and change into fresh clothes.

I was disgusted and couldn’t believe that she was so ignorant.

Refused to listen to my advice

I tried to tell her that it was important to shower more frequently, but she refused to listen to me. She was adamant that she was fine the way she was and didn’t need to change her habits.

I told her that I couldn’t be with someone who didn’t care about her hygiene and I was adamant that this was the only way.

I couldn’t be with someone who didn’t understand the importance of taking care of themselves.

After that, I told her that I give her a week to change and if she doesn’t want to change, we can just forget about being together.

GIRL LOST HER SAVINGS TO RWS AFTER GAMBLER BF INTRO HER TO CASINO

0

It was the worst day of my life. I had just lost all of my savings to a casino after my gambler boyfriend had introduced me to casino gambling.

I was so naïve and trusting of him that I had failed to see the warning signs. He had told me that we would have a great time, and that it would be a great way to make some extra money. Little did I know that it would be the worst decision of my life.

Lost all my savings

To make matters worse, I had gambled all of my hard-earned savings away just in this one night.

I had been working hard for the last few years, and I had finally saved up enough money to buy a private property.

I was so close to achieving my target, but now all of that had been taken away from me just because of my gambling that night.

I had been so caught up in the excitement of the casino that I had failed to see the danger.

Boyfriend left me alone there when I lost everything

I had been so naïve and trusting of my boyfriend that I had failed to see the warning signs. He abandoned me when I had lost all of my money.

He had walked away and left me to deal with the consequences of my own foolishness.

I had no one to blame but myself. I had been so foolish and trusting of him, and I had failed to realize the danger that I was putting myself in.

I had been so desperate to make some extra money, and I had failed to see the warning signs of gambling.

All of my hard-earned savings were gone, and I was left with nothing but regret.

I had learned the hard way that gambling was not the way to make money. It was a dangerous game, and I had paid the price for my foolishness.

11 Y.O BOY FORCED TO DO SQUATS BY TEACHER AS PUNISHMENT, END UP NEED KNEE SURGERY

0

An 11-year-old boy was forced by his teacher to do squats as punishment in class, and he ended up needing to undergo knee surgery as a result.

The incident happened in Tanah Merah, Kelantan, Malaysia.

The boy’s mother, Azlina, spoke to New Straits Times and said that the incident had left her son traumatised and afraid to return to school.

The boy was punished for missing school.

Missed school due to diarrhoea

The mother said that her son was absent from school because he had diarrhoea, and that she had informed his teachers about it via WhatsApp.

However, despite already informing the school of his sickness, the boy was summoned the next day for missing school, along with several other students.

They were then ordered to do 30 “ketuk ketampi” (squats) as a form of punishment for not going to school.

The mother added that her son had a prior knee injury and complained of having pain in his knee, and he told the teacher that he was not able to finish the punishment.

She said that her son suffered a knee fracture while playing football about 3 months prior after he had fallen down.

He was advised by a doctor not to do any strenuous physical activity following a scan that showed a fracture in his knee.

Teacher didn’t believe him & punched him in the chest

But on the day of the punishment, the teacher accused the boy of lying and punched him in the chest instead.

The boy’s grandfather then went to pick him up because he was in so much pain and even had to carry him to his motorcycle because he couldn’t walk.

He then complained of more pain later that night and Azlina wanted to bring her to the hospital, but the school told them to postpone the hospital visit because he had an exam coming up.

Following that, a representative from the school came over and apologised to the family and admitted that they had been too rough with the boy, before paying them a sum of money as compensation.

Teacher not punished

The boy was eventually sent to Tanah Merah Hospital where he was then referred to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Bharu to undergo knee surgery.

The teacher who punished her son also didn’t face any serious punishment for the incident and was only transferred to another primary school/

There were also rumours going around that the school was not to blame for the incident, and Azline said that she would be lodging a police report about the incident.

MP TIN PEI LING’S GRAB ROLE CHANGED TO “CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT” AFTER PUBLIC OUTCRY

0

Member of Parliament (MP) Tin Pei Ling was previously appointed as the Director of Public Affairs and Policy for Grab Singapore.

Following the public outcry over her possible clash of interests between her new role with Grab and her role as an MP, she has since been moved into a new role with Grab.

She will now be the Director of Corporate Development instead, and will not be involved in public affairs and policy work in Singapore, nor will she represent Grab in public policy discussions with Singapore government officials.

Tin Pei Ling’s statement

“A short while ago Grab issued a statement providing an update on my role at the company. I’ve appended it below for your reference.

I informed the PAP of my possible employment and nature of the role at Grab in mid 2022, and then formally informed the PAP in September 2022 about my appointment. They did not object.

Following the recent public attention, Grab and I discussed and agreed that it would be best for me to move into a role that did not involve any government relations in Singapore.

I understand and have long come to accept the public scrutiny that comes with being an MP. But I would never want it to hinder my ability to serve my constituents well as MP, or to do my job at Grab effectively. And this would be the case if my intentions and actions in the future are always called into doubt, whether justified or not.

Hence, I would like to share that I’m moving into a new role as Director (Corporate Development) to do corporate development work. It’s a role that is aligned to my career interest and will also tap on my past experiences in consulting and corporate strategy. My reason for joining Grab holds firm, to support its social mission of creating economic empowerment for everyone, and I look forward to playing my part.

Serving MacPherson over the past 12 years has been extremely meaningful, and being the voice of my residents, finding ways to improve their lives, and serving Singapore will always, always be my top priority.

To ensure that I can always contribute constructively in Parliament, I also need to challenge myself to grow, and keep pace with developments. Hence I saw the opportunity to return to the private sector as a way to broaden my horizons and to hone new skills. I looked forward to my role at Grab as an opportunity to grow and contribute to society.

To my friends, residents and fellow Grabbers who have been so supportive, a great big thank you! As always, I will focus on doing what I need to do, focus on serving to my best ability, and with integrity and sincerity.”

GIRL AND HER DRINKING KAKIS GOES PUB HOPPING TO GET FREE DRINKS FROM GUYS

0

When I was in Uni, one of my favorite pastimes was going out with my friends and pub hopping. It was always a fun way to spend our weekend nights, and we often got creative with our activities.

We always try to go drink without paying

One of our goals every night is to go and leech drinks off guys without paying a single cent.

It started out as a way to have a few extra drinks without paying for them. We would target guys who didn’t seem to have many friends at the bar.

We would approach them, flatter them, and then ask them to buy us a drink. Most of the time, they would be so flattered that they would agree.

We would usually rotate who did the asking, but I often found myself in the leader role. I think it was because I had the most confidence in myself and I was comfortable with the idea of going up to a stranger and asking them for something.

I would approach them with a smile, flirt a little and start a conversation. I would then casually mention that I was a bit thirsty and it would be nice if they could buy me a drink.

To my surprise, they usually agreed. I think they were either too embarrassed to say no, or they were just happy to be able to buy a girl a drink.

Either way, it worked out in our favor. We would get a few free drinks and then move on to the next bar.

Works almost 100% of the time

The key to making this work was to be polite and not too demanding. We would also try to be discreet about it so that the other patrons wouldn’t realize what we were doing.

This worked almost 100% of the time and there was not a night which I remember paying for any drinks.

It was a fun way to spend our nights out and we definitely made some great memories. I’m not sure if it was the thrill of getting something for free that we enjoyed or if it was just the idea of being able to have a few extra drinks without having to spend our own money.

Whatever the reason, it was fun and we often felt like we had “won” when we got our free drinks.

All in all, pub hopping and trying to get free drinks from guys was an enjoyable experience. We had a blast and created some amazing memories that still make us laugh when we think back on them.

It was a great way to spend our Uni nights and I’m sure I’ll never forget it.

MAN FIRST TIME GET MASSAGE BY ANOTHER GUY, FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE

0

I had been wanting to book a massage for the longest time, so I finally decided to take the plunge and make an appointment.

However, I was in for a surprise when I received the confirmation email and saw that my masseur was going to be a man.

Uncomfortable with another male touching him

I had assumed it would be a female, as I had not seen any other options when I booked the appointment. I was immediately filled with anxiety.

I had never been comfortable with the idea of a male giving me a massage, and I was worried that if it was not a female I would not be able to relax during the session.

I tried to push aside my doubts and opted to keep the appointment, telling myself that it was silly to be so concerned about something like this.

Unfortunately, I found it hard to relax when the massage began. I was constantly aware of the fact that it was a man giving me the massage, and I could not help but feel a little uncomfortable.

My body was tense and I was unable to enjoy the session as much as I would have liked to.

Got bought over by the male masseuse’ skills

I knew that I could not let my discomfort ruin the session, so I decided to try and focus on my breathing and focus on the massage itself. I tried to think of it as any other medical procedure, and I was able to slowly relax and enjoy the massage as it went on.

I began to appreciate the male masseur’s skill, and I was able to let go of my worries and just enjoy the session.

By the end of the session, I realized that my initial anxiety had been unfounded. I had been able to relax and enjoy the massage, despite the fact that it had been a man giving it to me.

I realized that it was silly to be so worried about something like this and that it was important to be open minded and not let my preconceived notions get in the way of a potentially enjoyable experience.

Overall, getting a massage from a male masseur was not as uncomfortable as I had feared it would be. Once I was able to relax and focus on the massage itself, I was able to enjoy the session and appreciate the skill of my masseur.

MAN PICKED UP SON LATE FROM SCHOOL THEN THREATENED TO KILL BOY’S PRINCIPAL, FINED $2K

0

A 33-year-old man turned up late at his son’s primary school to pick up the boy, before threatening to kill the school principal and using vulgarities on her.

The man, who cannot be named due to a court order protecting the child’s identity under the Children and Young Persons Act, was subsequently fined $2,000 on 9 February for harassment.

What happened?

The man was supposed to pick up his son from his primary school on 4 April 2022 at about 11.30am, but he showed up 50 minutes later.

He later created a scene in the general office of the school and confronted one of the teachers, asking them if they had done enough for his son, before using vulgarities on the teacher.

The school principal was then alerted to the commotion and she went forward to help the teacher, suggesting that the man join her and a few other teachers in a boardroom to further discuss the issue.

However, the man continued to be aggressive and threatened to kill the school principal, and the police were then alerted to the situation.

Other offences

Separately, the man was also convicted of several traffic offences and sentenced to 13 weeks imprisonment and another fine of $2,000.

He was also banned from holding or obtaining all classes of driving licences for 10 years upon his release from prison.

Not his first traffic offence

The man had earlier been disqualified from holding or obtaining all classes of driving licenses for 5 years from 29 September 2020 to 28 September 2025.

However, despite his driving ban, he still went ahead and drove a car along Ghim Moh Link on 13 January 2022, before being stopped by the Traffic Police during checks, where they found that he was not supposed to be driving.

He was then arrested.

He then reoffended once again and was caught speeding on a motorcycle along the PIE on 6 March 2022 at about 12.40am.

He also altered his vehicle’s number place in order to avoid detection, but was caught when the traffic police identified him through the use of police camera footage obtained from a carpark where he parked his motorbike.

He was subsequently arrested and charged in court back in 2022.

For that offence, he is expected to surrender himself on 2 March to the State Courts and begin his prison sentence.

MAN FINDING GF WHO’S FINE NOT CELEBRATING VDAY AS HIS DAD DIED ON VDAY

0

Valentine’s Day has always been a difficult day for me. I was only 11 years old when my father died on Valentine’s Day.

It was a shock to the entire family, and it’s a day I’ve been dreading ever since.

Doesn’t want to celebrate V Day to commemorate Dad

I’m now in my late 20s and I’m ready to find someone special to share my life with. But I’m concerned that any potential girlfriends won’t understand why I don’t want to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

I don’t want to have to explain my reasons every year and have her think I’m some kind of Valentine’s Day Scrooge.

So I’m looking for someone who is open-minded and understanding of my feelings about Valentine’s Day. I want someone who will be okay with not exchanging gifts and not celebrating the day at all.

I’m looking for someone who will accept my feelings and show me the same kind of love and compassion I show her.

I’m also looking for someone who will be supportive and understanding of my decisions to not celebrate Valentine’s Day.

I don’t want someone who will pressure me into celebrating the day or who will make me feel guilty for not wanting to do so.

I want someone who respects my wishes and understands that this is a very personal decision for me.

I want someone who is compassionate and understanding of my feelings. I want someone who will listen to me and offer comfort when I’m feeling sad. And I want someone who will be there to support me when I need it the most.

Most importantly, I want to commemorate my Dad on that day and not on some celebration.

Difficult to find a girl that doesn’t expect anything on V Day

I understand that finding someone who is okay with not celebrating Valentine’s Day may be difficult, but I’m hoping that I can find someone who is understanding and supportive of my feelings. I’m looking for someone who will accept me for who I am and who won’t try to change me.

I’m looking for someone who will appreciate my feelings and who will be willing to create unique ways to show me their love.

I’m looking for someone who will be there for me when I’m feeling down and who will remind me all year round how special I am to them.

Finding someone who is okay with not celebrating Valentine’s Day may be a challenge, but I know that with the right person, anything is possible.

I’m looking for someone who will love me for who I am and who will be okay with not celebrating Valentine’s Day.

HIT & RUN MASERATI DRIVER KNOCKS DOWN 85 Y.O MAN & FLEES THE SCENE, FOUND GUILTY

0

52-year-old Wong Kim Punn was found guilty on 9 February of knocking down an 85-year-old pedestrian with his Maserati and failing to stop on 9 July 2020.

The victim suffered multiple fractures and was wheelchair-bound for more than 2 months as a result.

However, the hit-and-run accident was not his first offence; In December 2019 Wong had previously hit a cyclist at the cross-junction of Ophir Road and Victoria Street.

His latest offence took place on 9 July 2020 at about 11pm when he was driving along East Coast Road.

He was seen in footage obtained by the prosecution driving when he hit the 85-year-old victim Mr Foo Kok Kam, who was crossing the road slowly at the time.

The impact was so great that the victim was flung into the air.

Following the collision, Wong slowed down his car for a bit before driving off from the scene without stopping and rendering assistance to the victim.

A witness who saw the accident lodged a police report about a blue Maserati knocking down an elderly pedestrian and Wong’s car was later seized.

The vehicle and the victim’s shorts were then sent to the Health Sciences Authority, where it was found that some of the materials found on the victim’s shorts possibly came from the bonnet and right fender of the vehicle.

Wong was then convicted of several traffic offences, which included careless driving causing grievous hurt, failing to stop after an accident and render aid.

His sentencing has been adjourned to March.
