GUY STOLE $800 CASH FROM MAMA SHOP, USE THE MONEY TO BUY FROM THE SHOP SOME MORE

A guy was caught red-handed on CCTV stealing money from a convenience store at Yishun (Jeya Spices).

Happening yesterday (3 June) at about 11.58am, the guy was caught on camera stealing the money when one of the staff had gone to the toilet, and another was busy with a coconut machine.

The guy then swept the plastic container containing the money clean, stuffing the money into his bag.

He even used the stolen money to make a purchase at the same shop that he stole from.

The owner of the mama shop said that he understands that life is not easy and had the guy explained his situation to him, he would’ve given it (the items?) to him for free.

He is appealing to the perpetrator to own up because he “don’t want to make a police report yet” and leave a “permanent stain on his record”.

The alleged perpetrator is described as being in his 20s and having a visible tattoo on his right forearm, and was seen with a woman believed to be his wife/girlfriend.

MAN REOFFENDED, TAKE UPSKIRT VIDEOS OF WOMEN AGAIN, RETURNS TO JAIL

Kelmen Wong Yew Hui, 24-years-old, pleaded guilty to 2 charges of voyeurism and was sentenced to 16 weeks jail yesterday (3 June).

He had taken upskirt videos of multiple women.

He was previously sentenced to 12 weeks jail in 2019 for the same offence of taking upskirt videos, and he reoffended after he was released.

The identities of the victims cannot be named due to a gag order.

Wong took an upskirt video of a 13-year-old girl in her school uniform at Chinese Garden MRT on 11 March last year, at around 7.45am.

He stood behind the victim as they went up an escalator and used his phone to film her.

A passerby saw the incident, and station manager Ahmad Ghuzali Rashid was only alerted about the incident the following morning.

Ahmad then went to the open ear in the MRT station at the same time that day and saw Wong recording another upskirt video of a second victim, a 27-year-old woman.

He then called the police and Wong was then subsequently arrested.

16 Y.O GIVEN WRONG COVID-19 VACCINE, INJECTED WITH MODERNA INSTEAD

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) released a joint statement revealing that a 16-year-old boy was “erroneously” given the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine instead of the authorised Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for those under 18.

The ministries apologised for the error and said that they take this error seriously.

Their joint statement reads:

“We apologise for the inconvenience and anxiety caused, and have reached out to the youth’s parents to explain the situation.”

How it happened?

The mistake arose from the wrong date of birth registration, the statement explained:

“Our investigations found that the individual’s date of birth had been erroneously entered when booking a vaccination appointment after receiving the sign-up link.”

“This resulted in his age being incorrectly registered as above 18 years of age, making it possible for a Moderna vaccination centre to be selected.”

During registration, the vaccination centre staff also failed to verify his age.

The boy was then later identified to be under 18 during the observation period after the vaccination, and that was when the error was discovered.

He was then placed under longer observation (50 minutes) as a form of additional precaution.

He was revealed to be “generally well.”

No problem

The Covid-19 expert committee said in a separate statement that they do not expect any safety issues for the boy; and the medical team will also consult the expert committee on what would be the best step for the youth to complete his vaccination.

They added:

“Data from a involving more than 3,700 adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old has found that the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine is safe and effective among adolescents with no significant safety issues identified. The majority of adverse events were mild or moderate in severity, and the common ones were injection site pain, headache, fatigue, muscle aches and chills.”

GUY WHO CONFRONTED YP FOR SCOLDING HIM “F**K UR MOM”, CLARIFIES YP’S ALLEGATIONS

In a video that has since gone viral, where a guy baited a YP who scolded his mother “f**k ur mom” on Carousell, and confronted him in real life; the YP took to social media to share his side of events.

The guy who confronted the YP then shared his side of the events as well, explain his POV.

The guy said that he posted the confrontation on his own social media platforms and didn’t intend for it to go viral.

However, he emphasized that people cannot go around saying “I F**K YOUR MOTHER” and expect to get away with “sorry I was joking.”

He explains that his anger is valid and that he has no problems drawing lines and letting cyber bullies know when they’ve crossed it.

He explained that he was rightfully “aggressive”.

He said that when he told the boy to “follow me”, that was to get them away from the crowd at the bus stop to settle the matter privately because the perpetrator was a kid.

He then addressed the YP’s explanation, saying that he “conveniently” left out him saying “don’t worry, you’re just a kid, I’m not going to hit you.”

The YP also left out the guy saying “you’re lucky it’s me and not someone else who doesn’t care if you’re a kid.”

He then said that there was a special lesson to be learned here, that things you have have real world effects on the lives and emotions of real people.
