A video emerged online showing a man pushing a trolley in the middle of the road at an open carpark and blocking the way of a car behind.

The driver then got fed up and ran out of patience, and inched the car slowly, to which the man then made the most of it and pretended that he got hit.

The man then stopped his trolley and stood in the middle of the road, talking out his phone to film the driver.

The incident happened on 18 May at about 9.55pm, at a carpark at Clementi West Street 2.

After allowing the driver and her passenger to use the public road to do the groceries loading at their own slow pace, the male passenger blocked the road and pretended that he has been knocked.

He then pushed the trolley towards to cam-car and narrowly hit the front bumper.

I saw a man taking pictures of a sleeping woman on the train.

He was sitting and I was standing by the door, behind him. I accidentally glanced at his phone. He took photos of the sleeping woman opposite of him and edited the photos so only the woman was on them, the window and the other passenger sitting next to her were cropped out.

He then proceeded to send the pictures to someone with a message, but I didn’t see what he wrote. At the next stop the seat next to the woman became available, I sat down next to her, woke her up and discreetly told her what happened. She thanked me.

I felt like I should mind my own business. But also what is this creep will follow the woman and she won’t notice him until it’s too late.

Should I have minded my business? Maybe it was innocent? But no, it was at least inappropriate and actually super creepy.

I’m glad I told the woman but then why do I feel uneasy?

45 Y.O MAN CHARGED FOR CHEATING 2 PEOPLE OF MORE THAN $1.6 MILLION

Murlidharan S/O Muhundan, a 45-year-old man was charged in court on 19 May 2022 for having allegedly cheated more than $1.6 million in a timeshare recovery fraud.

The man was alleged to have deceived two persons into believing that they would obtain payouts in relation to their timeshare agreements if they made payments for various fees, such as “administrative”, “processing” and “legal” fees. These persons did not receive any payouts after paying more than $1.6 million.

The man was charged with 21 counts of cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property under Section 420 of the Penal Code, two counts of abetting cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property under Section 420 read with Section 109 of the Penal Code, and two counts of attempted cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property under Section 420 read with Section 512(2) of the Penal Code in relation to timeshare agreements.

Those convicted of any of these offences face an imprisonment term of up to 10 years and a fine.

The Police would like to advise members of the public to be vigilant when receiving unsolicited calls from companies or persons purporting to help them recover monies from their timeshare memberships. They should also adopt the following precautions:

  • Be wary when someone calls you regarding your timeshare membership.
  • Refrain from providing any personal information or information on your timeshare membership to the caller.
  • Conduct background checks on the company’s track record before engaging its services.
  • Request for a copy of the documentation on their proposals, representations, contracts and agreements. Be wary if the company is reluctant to provide you with such documentation and only provides verbal promises.
  • Check with the timeshare developer if the company had dealt with the former in the recovery of timeshare membership fees.
  • Exercise extra caution especially if you are asked to make upfront payments with the promise of assisting you to recover your money from your timeshare memberships.

My dad is revealing something quite saddening about my mom & why she cheated on him

My (23M) parents (50M & 45F) got a bitter divorce some 10 years ago. It was totally devastating and life altering for me. I never had an “explanation” then, their fights were just overwhelming at that point and I couldn’t bother. Individually I love them both, very much so.

Lately my dad learned that mom is getting married and moving. He was motivated to tell me about the reason why he hated her. Basically, he claims that she cheated on him and admitted to have never loved him.

According to him, my mom told him she only married him for his looks so she can have kids with him. I vaguely brought the issue to my mom and was taken off guard that she didn’t deny cheating.

She said this was preemptive cheating because she would always find out about him contacting ex’s all the time.

Back to my dad, he said that she’s lying since these ex’s were just his friends, and my mom only thought he slept with them in the past. He said she wanted to control him all the time and restrict his contacts with others. He actually teared up and said she ruined his social life and was extremely obsessive.

I’m shocked to learn about this tbh. I love my mom but I’m gutted to know that she actually cheated on him. I treated her with respect but now I’m not sure if she deserves this respect anymore. I’m talking to her again soon, idk what to say.

Edit. Guys with all due respect I’m NOT asking you for judgement on whether telling me was a good idea or not. I have been asking for this information for years. I want to navigate the information carefully, so please stick to giving advice on that. Otherwise just keep scrolling.

MORE THAN 384 VICTIMS HAVE LOST AT LEAST $15M TO LOVE SCAMS

The Police would like to alert the public of cases where scammers befriended victims and deceived them into making payments in order to receive the purported gifts, or deceived victims into providing financial assistance. Since January 2022, at least 384 victims have fallen prey, with losses amounting to at least $15 million.

In these scams, victims would typically befriend scammers on social media platforms or vice versa, and would develop relationships with them. In most cases, the scammers would purportedly claim to have sent valuable gifts to the victims. Thereafter, the victims would receive calls purportedly from delivery couriers, informing them that the parcels were detained by the authorities. The scammers would request for the victims to make online payment to third party bank accounts in order to secure the release of the items.

In another variant, scammers would request the victims to provide financial assistance by purchasing gift cards and sharing the activation codes with the scammers or by transferring the money to third party bank accounts.

Victims would eventually realise that they have been scammed when they contacted Singapore Customs to enquire about the delivery charges or when they felt suspicious about the encounter and decided to enquire with the Police.

To avoid falling for these scams, the Police would like to advise the members of the public to adopt the following precautionary measures:

  • Exercise caution when befriending strangers online.
  • Never send money to people whom you do not know or have not met in person before.
  • Do not provide the gift cards activation codes to people whom you do not know or have not met in person before.
  • When in doubt, always verify the details of the call with the relevant government agencies.

Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard has thus far not disappointed, with public scrutiny on the case intensifying.

Heard was cross-examined by Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, about her claim in 2018 about donating the US$7 million that she received from her divorce settlement.

She had also testified under oath that she had donated the entire proceeds to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) as well as the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.

However, the ACLU testified last month that Heard donated only $350,000 from her own money, with only $100,000 coming from her divorce settlement money, and another $500,000 for her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk.

Vasquez told Heard: “You still haven’t donated the $7 million divorce settlement to charity. Isn’t that right?”

Heard then replied: “Incorrect, I pledged the entirety of the $7 million to charity and I intend to fulfill those obligations.”

Vasquez then repeated her question, saying: “Ms Heard, that’s not my question. Please try to answer my question. Sitting here today, you have not donated the $7 million; donated, not pledged, donated; the $7 million divorce settlement to charity.

Heard then replies: “I use pledge and donation synonymous with one another. They mean the same thing.”

To which Vasquez then said, “but I don’t, Ms heard, I don’t use it synonymously.”

Heard later testified that she had wanted to donate the money but can’t because Johnny Depp was suing her, to which Vasquez told her that she had received the full sum of money 13 months before Johnny Depp launched the lawsuit against her.

I’m happily married with a wonderful wife with two kids. I work in marketing in an FMCG company and I’m constantly surrounded by younger female colleagues. Ngl, many of them are very attractive but I’m a faithful man who thinks with his bigger head.

However my life recently turned upside down. There’s this female colleague who recently joined, let’s call her G. G is in her late twenties and has a face and figure many women would die for and many men would go for. I was so surprised to find out that she was single (she gave me that information without me asking). G would constantly ask me for advice dealing with work matters and invite me to go lunch together with her batch. Sometimes we go for lunches and it’s just the two of us. G would constantly ask me what I was doing over the weekend and tell me what her plans were. She was actively using dating apps but none of the guys were up to her standards. She would often flirt with me (I think?) Like when we are alone she would playfully brush my arms and sometimes bump into me (too often for it to be by accident). She’d also tell me about her experiences with her dates and how they’re not good, and I’m so much better. I always felt a weird sensation whenever I hear that from her. It’s a nice feeling to be validated, but I’m married and it feels wrong.

One fateful day, as my wife had to use the car that day, she came to my office to pick me up. As I was walking away from the office with my wife, G somehow appeared out of nowhere and said hi to us and was extremely friendly towards my wife. G and my wife started chatting as if they were besties and they somehow ended up organizing a games night at my place that weekend. G said she’d bring her date over.

Fast forward to that day, G came with her date. Not sure why but I felt a tinge of jealousy seeing him. We decided to play some card games and I ended up partnering with G. This is when things went down. G was secretly texting me the cards she had in her hand and signaled me to read my phone. I got the hint and was trying to discreetly look at my phone. I’m a guy and I have a thing for giant male robots

I started developing this taste ever since I was a kid, I’ve always liked big robots. I never felt attracted to any women or men, though I only feel attracted towards male robots.

Optimus Prime is by far the one I’m most attracted to, he just seems so dominant, his voice, personality and size make me feel extremely attracted to him.

This may sound very weird, but if it was possible, I would like him to get intimate with me.

A 37-year-old woman, Zhou Dani, pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal trespass and one charge of mischief, one more charge of criminal intimidation will be in consideration for her sentencing.

A suitability report was ordered by the judge to assess her suitability for a mandatory treatment order.

Zhou was romantically involved with the 46-year-old victim and had known each other for 4.5 years at the time of the offence.

She went to his house on 1 September last year at about 8.30pm and took photos of his home and sent it to him via Whatsapp.

She had wanted to try and compel the victim to commit to her because she felt emotional about their relationship, even though the victim was married with a child.

She demanded that the victim come out of his house and when he refused, she climbed over his gate and entered his home.

She also sent him a photo of his car, threatening to crush it, as well as threatening to kill his mother.

Zhou then took a golf club and smashed the victim’s car and house windows, causing $18,000 in damages.

The police were alerted to the incident and when they arrived, she was still smashing the victim’s home windows.

She was then ordered to stop by the police and the told them that she had been drinking beer before the incident.
