BLUESG CAR LOST CONTROL ON THE CTE, KISS THE BACKSIDE OF LORRY

A video emerged online showing an accident that happened on an expressway involving a BlueSG car and a lorry.

The accident happened along the CTE on 2 May at about 12pm, and it was captured on the rearcam of another vehicle in front.

The BlueSG car was seen in the video losing control and smashing into the rear of a lorry that was slowing down, completely destroying the front of the car.

The occupants of the lorry in front could be seen being flung forward inside the lorry cabin.

A netizen commented on the video and explained how the engine and gas pedal of the electric BlueSG car works:

BlueSg (EV) car has a highly sensitive gas pedal compared to the normal engine car. The moment you slam the gas pedal, the acceleration is very high due to its high torque.

When you release the gas pedal, the car decelerates very quickly without applying brake pedal compared to the normal engine car. Also, the brake pedal needs to be extremely cautious as this will result in jam brake.

BlueSg car remained stationary without depressing the gas pedal either in drive or reverse gear. Therefore, I urged non-ev drivers need to take extra careful and cautious while driving ev.

SCAMMER USES PHOTO OF PRETTY GIRL TO TEMPT, MAN REPLY “I’M A BILLIONAIRE”

The “pretty girl” scammers technique has been used too often by criminals to cheat men who are tempted.

However, a man decided to waste the time of the scammer and troll the scammer.

The scammer use a phone number originating +852 which is a country code used by Hong Kong.

Not long after the conversation start, they will start to ask victims to invest in bitcoins or some other financial instruments.

The man then replies the scammer stating that his a billionaire and he does not need such “investments”

GIRL’S BF LIKES TO SMELL HER SWEATY ARMPIT, USE FINGER TO SWIPE INSIDE

0

As a girl, i’ve always been ashamed and embarrassed of my armpits – growing up, I had lots of hair there and repeated shaving/tweezing made the area really dark and gave me lots of ingrown stubble at my pits.

Eventually I went for IPL and managed to get rid of my Armpit Anguish mostly (which has drastically increased my quality of life) but my bf seems quite disappointed by this.

He always likes to smell my pits, especially if i’ve just finished exercising.

Even when i’m sweating from walking outside cos it’s so hot & humid, he always likes to sneak a finger under my arm and do a quick swipe. He says it smells like me.

The thing is, he doesn’t have this same desire for other girls. There are some IG pages for kpop girl group idols’ pits, but he doesn’t like theirs, only mine.

I’m glad he appreciates the occasional few strands that grow out from my pits. Anyone else’s bf is also like this?

Netizens’ comments

  • He seems to have canine capabilities. Have you brought him to the vet yet?
  • He doing manual PCR swab test on ur armpit
  • Armpit Anguish. thanks that’s my band name now

THAI MASSEUSE RIDES GUY AFTER HEARING ‘NAK NAK’ AS ‘PIAK PIAK’

0

A guy shared a story with us on how he went for a Thai Massage in Bangkok and requested for the masseuse to massage harder by saying ‘Nak Nak’, which is a common term used to ask for the masseuse to use more strength when massaging.

However, the masseuse proceeded to climb on top of him and rode him under her uniform.

It turns out that the masseuse had heard him wrongly and thought that he was asking for ‘Piak Piak’ instead of asking for her to use more strength for massage.

Here is the story

I went to Bangkok for holiday with a group of my bros after the borders had reopened.

We walked passed a massage parlour on one of our days there and decided to go in for a good rub after a long day of walking around the streets.

Each of us were assigned a masseuse and off we go into our individual rooms for massage.

Halfway through, the masseuse was rubbing an area which I had a real ache on and I decided to use Thai to ask her to massage harder.

I said ‘Nak Nak’, which is a term commonly used to ask them to massage harder and while I thought I had pronounced it well enough, she giggled and replied ‘Yes’ to me in Thai but she did not use any more strength.

Instead, she proceeded to caress me at my sensitive areas and climbed on top of me, allowing my ‘weapon’ access, which got me really puzzled.

However, I went on with the flow and after all was done, I told her that I actually wanted her to massage harder instead of doing what she did.

She then told me that she misheard me and thought that I was saying ‘Piak Piak’ instead (clearly she has been to SG before LOL).

She apologised and said that it is okay, I do not have to pay her as she was also feeling ‘needy’.

I gave her a generous tip and left the place a Happy Man.

SIA TO RESTORE BASIC SALARIES OF PILOTS WHO TOOK PAY CUTS IN 2020

The basic salaries of Singapore Airlines (SIA) pilots will be gradually restored two years after the airline commenced pay cuts for their staff members due to the pandemic.

SIA confirmed with CNA on 4 May that a memorandum of agreement was signed with the Air Line Pilots Association Singapore, the pilot’s union; with effect from 1 April.

The additional pay cuts to the basic salaries of the pilots will be progressively reduced over a period of 9 months, from 1 April to 31 December 2022.

The pay cuts that the SIA pilots previously took in September 2020 were a reduction of between 10 to 60%, which is part of an agreement that was aimed at protecting up to 400 jobs.

The pay cut agreement went into effect in October 2020 and expired in March earlier this year.

A spokesperson for SIA said that SIA is grateful for all of its staff, including its pilots, for their sacrifices over the last two years, allowing the company to navigate the challenges passed by the covid 19 pandemic.

CONTROLLING GF GETS ANNOYED WHEN HER BOYFRIEND USES HIS PHONE FOR WORK

My bf is always on the phone, what can i do? For context, we are together for 2 years from uni to working adults now.

Initially during the 1.5 years of uni life, he will very often take his phone out every 30 min or so and reply his friends for a couple of minutes, laughing at some meme they shared etc while we’re out on dates. Sometimes he receive 1-2 important message and he will stop our conversation to reply that, then proceed to reply his other friends on memes and chitchat. This could go up to 10-15 min of him just fixated on his phone each time he whips it out. I expressed my annoyance previously and he mentioned that if I couldn’t take it, i wont be able to handle it when he starts getting busy with work in the future.

It has been 6 months since both of us started working. His workload has increased and he is managing a small team of analysts handling time-sensitive work. His phone usage naturally increased and he seems to be on the phone 50-80% of the time we are together. Even though we spent the recent long weekend together, he is constantly on his phone. Sometimes attending to urgent messages, sometimes less urgent, and sometimes just chitchats with friends. Even when he is driving, he would start texting once the traffic light turns red.

Occasionally we have our nightly calls with one another and he seems to be on hold for 50% of the time now, replying to his friends or colleague too. Once i actually noticed him dming his colleague and though he claimed its ‘important work stuff’, i saw that they were just chitchatting on what to eat the next day at work and complaining about how the analysts under them are underperforming etc. Doesn’t seem like anything important that warrants an immediate reply.

While im not as busy as him and doesnt manage a team at work, i do understand the need to reply to urgent work messages. But i feel it had somewhat crossed a line now that he is mostly on his phone during our dates.

Recently we celebrated our 2nd anniversary and we spent the dinner mostly in silence as he was busy texting his friends/colleagues before, during and after our meal. I simply can’t understand why he has a need to reply to all his messages immediately.

He always says sorry for using his phone and says that i have to understand his pov. Although i wanted to be that understanding gf, i cant seem o comprehend this.
