A man shared a story about how he ended up in the hospital after seeing his best friend with his wife on his own bed.

Here is the story:

I just went home from the hospital, as expected there is no one home. My wife’s personal belongings are all gone.

Here is how I ended up in the hospital.

I was out with my friends at Boat Quay and we were having dinner. We wanted to have a few drinks but one of my friends felt unwell and we send him home.

So we decided to meet another time for the drinks and every one of us went home early.

Earlier in the day, I told my wife that I would be eating and drinking with my friends and she quickly agrees and seem happy that I was going out.

Initially, I thought that it was strange how quickly she said yes (cause I said I was drinking) but I did not think much about it.

When I arrived home and open the door, I could hear the sounds of people moving and running around quickly and I thought a robber was in the house. I ran towards my room and see my wife not wearing anything and a “ball of blanket” was beside her.

I asked why is she naked and she said that the weather is too hot. She tried to rush me to the shower for no reason and I went into the bathroom.

I suddenly remembered that I did not lock the wooden door and I came out of the toilet but to see my best friend naked beside my wife.

I immediately shouted at them and I had a seizure shortly afterwards.

Now I am back home from the hospital and the first thing I’m gonna do is open up my laptop and find the cheapest lawyer I can find.

When my cat was just a kitten we decided to try and leash train him. He took to it well and it has become a daily thing we do. Take an hour or two and just walk around the neighborhood, sometimes even going to the park.

We have never had any big issues walking my cat, there might be a dog here and there but my cat doesn’t pay any mind to them.

The other day we had a little boy that looked about 10 come up to us as we were walking in the park. He tried to pet my cat but my cat slap his hand before he could even touch him.

His mother came running over yelling at me for allowing my cat to hurt her child and that he shouldn’t be outside if he is that reactive.

I told the woman he shouldn’t go up to random animals and try to pet them, other animals can do way worse then just a pop to the hand. She said she gave him permission to pet my cat and that I should be lucky she didn’t call animal control on my reactive cat.

My parents say that I should have stopped the little boy before he got to my cat but I expected him to ask before he tried petting my cat. I’m starting to think I was in the wrong.

Sounds like a karen to me. “She allowed her son to pet?” Wow, can i allow my cat permission to scratch you just because I gave permission?

My wife and I (30F and 34M) just had this argument and I want the internet’s opinion on if she’s setting her sights too high or not.

For the past few months, my wife has gotten really, really into Korean tv dramas. She started one show with a friend around Christmas but she kept going and I’d say she’s watched at least 6 or 7 decently long series since then and is showing no sign of slowing down.

I have to admit I was already annoyed with this before we had this argument – she didn’t used to be really into many shows and a lot of times she was happy to watch whatever and knit at the same time. She said she liked feeling like she was getting stuff done. But since she watches the Korean shows with English subtitles, she doesn’t do nearly as much knitting, so it feels like she’s abandoned a lot of her projects. For example, she usually knits my mom something for her birthday in March like a hat or a scarf, but she didn’t and I could see my mom was disappointed.

So because of this, when my wife told me yesterday that she wants to start learning Korean so that she can watch more shows and get more immersed in that culture and stuff, I got really irritated. I told her that Korean is an incredibly difficult language to learn and since she’s an adult, there’s no way she’ll ever become fluent. She’d just be wasting her time without a hope of actually getting proficient in a language that she would only use in watching tv. I told her it seemed like an unrealistic goal and a waste of time and money. She called me a jerk, told me to eff off, and didn’t give any sort of counter argument. Looking back, I think I spoke sharply but I think deep down she must also realize that it’s a stupid idea but she doesn’t want to admit it.

I should also say that my wife only speaks English, so she doesn’t even have any kind of foundation for learning a foreign language, much less one as notoriously difficult as Korean.

Also, tv watching is not a hobby, it’s a passive activity. Some of y’all seriously need a life if you consider tv watching a hobby.

Erm so my dad is nearing his 60s and has been a taxi driver for a long time. My sister and I have grad and are working rn. I have been giving a small sum of money (~$400) to my dad monthly, which is about 10% of my salary, the same amount is given to my mom too so total 20%. I really cant afford to give more. I’m not sure if my sister gives him an allowance but I don’t think so cos my sister tends to ignore him.

My dad doesnt have much savings (still can go overseas though), and is tired of working. So recently he asked for more money. I told him to ask my sister instead since she earns more than me but somehow he only dares to ask for money from me. He is threatening me using the parents maintenance act, saying like he wants me to take care of him, and will see dr to say leg pain so cannot work.

So I just want to check if he really files against me, do I really need to pay much more? Will they take into account my husband’s salary? I paid my uni fees myself, so other than bills I dont owe him alot of money per say. If my mom knows that my dad managed to get more money from this act maybe she also wants it. Will they also sue my sibling too?

And even if I need to cough out more money, will they legally force me to bring my parents to my home to take care of them?? I’m really scared pls help me.

This stupid law is making me so stressed out tbh, how can people fuck up their retirement plans and decide to screw their kids. This is like a vicious cycle, some parents didnt think that their kids need the money for their future but just their retirement plan.

Long story short(ish), a few months ago she came and admitted to me that she had a crush on her coworker, which, I was okay with. Feelings are feelings, and acting on them is a different matter. I’ve had crushes on coworkers before, and shutting that down cold would’ve deprived me of some of my best platonic friendships once the infatuation subsided. I’d be a hypocrite for being the overbearing jealous boyfriend and shutting down a potentially good friendship just cause it’s another dude.

Fast forward a few weeks, and now she’s doggedly asking about opening up our relationship. Obvs I knew what it was about, and my response was an honest “Yeah maybe! But not right now.” and that was the end of it. In the meantime she’s still seeing him at work regularly, and hanging out with him a couple times outside of work, and I’m ignoring that niggling feeling in my brain. (At the same time, our sex life was great, which probably helped with looking past some stuff)

Eventually they got hauled up to a manager and reprimanded for being too friendly on the floor and my gf got questioned about her relationship (which, regardless of the situation, isn’t management’s business, imo ) so in the meantime I’m defending her to my coworkers because I still think platonic friendships should be fine and healthy, regardless of gender!

Now in the meantime, one of their after work hangouts she absolutely lied to me about where they were, and I tried to explain it away to myself. After the management incident they haven’t had a chance to hang out, which brings us to the other day. I was using her phone to mass call the passport office before the trip we had planned, and while I was waiting to get through curiosity got the better of me and I ended up two months deep in their text conversation.

Which, before the management stuff, included a couple nudes from her, plenty of sex talk, references to her grabbing his dick at work, all kinds of talk about making out, sneaking around the store, their “car hangouts ” among other stuff.

Tack that onto finding this out literally a week before a three-week vacation with my entire family and I feel like I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can’t go with her and have this in the back of my brain the entire time, but I also can’t just break up with her and leave her home with all of my stuff for three weeks.

This happened just this morning, and I was thinking that maybe I can entertain some people with it!

A little context before we start this story.
My cat had one of her kidneys removed last Friday, she was experiencing gallstones and said kidney was extremely enlarged, this kidney is currently being examined in a lab as the vets had no idea what was wrong with it.

She has been on meds before and after the surgery and has been recovering well. Spending fairly large amounts of time in my room as its one of her comfort places. She’s a purebred cat and currently 14 years old.

So since yesterday around 8pm my cat was hanging out with me in my room.
She was on my bed so I joined her and we just cuddled and watched movies until roughly midnight when I was very tired and decided to try and sleep.
I shoved most of my clothes off my bed and she wanted to stay which was fine with me, she settled in the right corner of my bed on my feet side and my blanket ended up covering half of her.
Eventually, I fell asleep.

It was 2am.

I woke up the sound of my cat jumping off my bed, and seen the time I decided to let her out my room incase she was hungry or needed to use the toilet.
What I didn’t know was, that she took a huge dump in my bed.

Apparently, while still shooting faeces she jumped off my bed, and when I jumped out of my bed shortly after, I managed to narrowly avoid the brown splatters she left when she jumped off my bed and let her out my room.

I left the lights off, as I am not very fond of light. I had no idea that there was **** everywhere.
When I crawled back in my bed and started to back to sleep I started to smell the surprise gift she left me.
I thought “Ain’t no way she took a dump in my bed”, so I went to sleep just thinking it was a singular crap somewhere, cause that just happens sometimes. And that I’d clean it up in the morning, as I was way too sleepy.

Well, I was wrong.

It was around 9am when my mom came in and woke me up.

Now I am not a morning person at all, it is safe to say I get suicidal urges every day I open my eyes in the morning, and it takes at least an hour for me to properly wake up and get my brain going.
She was talking to me but I didn’t hear anything as I was still half asleep and stretching, so I only heard my muscles, if you understand what I mean.
The only word I picked up was “poop”, and I already knew that so I didn’t think much of it.
At this point I still thought my cat had left a singular dropping somewhere in a corner of my room.

Eventually an hour later (for clarification, I think I became smell blind to it after sleeping with it in my room for apparently 8 hours), I decided to get my ass out of bed, this is when I saw the humongous (now smeared out) brown stain (with clumps still there) in the corner of where my cat had slept.

I jumped out of bed, and yet again narrowly avoided the brown splatters that were there. I looked around and saw another huge assmark close to my closet. Now my cat also has a history of pissing in my closet when she was younger, so I made sure to check she didn’t attempt to wipe her ass on my clothes. Luckily she did not.

But, it gets worse! 😀
At this point in time I thought only my room was hit with her anal explosion, it was not.

When I made my way to the upstairs hallway to have breakfast with my family, I saw another huge brown stamp right out of my door, followed with a huge skid mark towards the stairs.

At this point my heart dropped and I started to half-run down the carpeted stairs.
As you may have guessed, my cat tried to wipe her behind on these as the carpet has quite a rough texture. Three of the steps were brown.
I jumped over them and almost landed in another skid mark in the downstairs hallway.
The downstairs hallway is tiled, but the tiles are filled with all different types of stone (though a smooth surface), so it was almost impossible to see at first. Tippy-toeing like they do in cartoons I tried to avoid the large amount of feces and entered the living room.

It was a massacre.
There were skid marks every where, and I genuinely mean every where.
If I had to describe it in one sentence, I’d say it looked like a Formula 1 race track, with brown skid marks.
It was all over the floor.
Luckily she saved most our furniture, bless her.
The one exception was our coffee table, where my brother’s homework was located, I hope his teacher believes him.

I offered my mom to clean it all up as the culprit is my cat after all.
I got to scrubbing the floors.
The more I scrubbed the more I found, it was in every corner of the living room, one of the marks was even an 180° which was pretty impressive.
We moved the couch as our other cat had thrown up under there earlier, and lo and behold, another huge crapstamp. Even one of the bathrooms wasn’t safe for her excretion missiles.

Unsure if I have mentioned before, but this diarrhoea was liquid.

I have finished cleaning everything and my hands are pretty numb from my violent scrubbing.
I feel pretty guilty, if I only had turned on my lights I would’ve seen what was happening and could have prevented it from spreading through the entire house.

My cat is now sleeping behind my PC as I am writing this.

I guess I could say this really is a new core memory for me.

Just to clarify, we are in no way mad at her and she will not be punished, instead we will be reporting this incident to the vet.

Now I know by the knowing their kid for that long I should’ve known who it was but I had never met them I think and if I did, I probably forgot.

So they are the new person at my work and I thought they were kind of cute and I like older women anyways so I hit on her a bit and such.

A good line was that “you make 44 look good” got them blushing a lot. Well after work I sat and talked with them a bit after work and hit on them some more. When they asked my last name they had said that they know my family and was gonna have a good laugh with my mom and them about it because I’m so young she said.

They had also told the people at work also that I had done it. They are 20 years older than me so they found it funny and embarrassing which made me instantly kind of regret hitting on them.

Now when I’m sitting at home and I get a message from their daughter asking if I tried to hit on their mom. I just replied with an “apparently so” However now I’m feeling a bit embarrassed by it and kind of have weird feeling of being exposed I guess since they are so close to my family.

So now I have work with them tomorrow and I’m honestly not sure how to approach it.

This has nothing to do with money. We split the rent and we share everything 50-50. I am an engineer and my GF works in healthcare. One month ago her contract at ended and she has been unemployed since.

She has already found another job but she would be able to start two months after her previous job ended, that means in a month from now. So for the past month she has been living her best life. She’s spending her mornings studying for her new job but also reading, watching Netflix, going to the gym and for runs with her dog etc.

However she hasn’t started contributing more to the household. I mean she still cooks and cleans every day but she still expects me to wash the dishes and she won’t pick up my clothes after I have returned from work. The other day I left a bunch of my mail on the table and when I returned it was left unopened, I asked her why she didn’t look through it and she told me she’s not my secretary. I have been hinting that she should be picking up more chores now that she’s unemployed but she says that she’s not my housekeeper, she does more than half of the chores and since my workload has not increased I should be able to do mine.

I mean yes, I am able to do it but I am tired from work and she isn’t so I had expected her to step up a little but no, she claims this is her break from working hard and other hurtful things, like she didn’t go to med school to be a live-in maid etc.

So am I wrong For expecting her to do most of the chores while she’s unemployed?
