I was adopted when I was a baby and my adoptive parents (50s) did their best to raise me and support me through uni. We always had a good relationship and I obviously love them.

So ,for my wedding I decided to ask my biological father to walk me down the aisle and he obviously said yes. When my adoptive parents learnt it they were hurt and said that their worst fear had come to reality and if I insist to put my biological parents before them then I shouldn’t invite them to the wedding.

Jeff Wang, a former artist with Mediacorp, made the news recently when his restaurant in Taiwan was splashed with faeces, according to Apple Daily.
Wang’s Japanese restaurant, PS Sake Bar, was opened with his friend in late 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The incident came about because of a financial dispute with a female patron of the restaurant, and the vandal followed her to the restaurant.
He then waited for the woman to finish her meal before throwing faeces at her as she left the restaurant, leaving the staff to clean up the mess later.
The police were informed by the restaurant about the incident.
Speaking to Apple Daily, Wang’s manager said that he can’t divulge much details as it was a private matter, but revealed that the matter has been resolved.
He also added that they have “beefed up measures” to protect the safety of their restaurant’s patrons.

This morning I received a message from my gf saying she’s no longer interested in being my plus one at my brother’s upcoming wedding and I should give her some space.”
Former actor Joshua Ang, of Jack Neo’s I Not Stupid movies fame, was involved in a motorcycle accident that sent him flying about 6-7 metres, on 24 March.

Still alive, not dead. Had a super bad motorcycle accident today. Leg is completely disfigured, fortunately no fracture, just a ton of stitches.

16 days ago, I almost lost my life because of a reckless driver. I was travelling on a straight road on my motor bike when he smashed his car into my ride side. I was flung about 6 to 7 meters, and all I could remember was seeing bright lights and hitting my head against road 3 or 4 times.
They say your life flashes before your eyes before you die, I can vouch for that. Fortunately I was wearing a full faced helmet so there wasn’t any injuries to my face.
I got up in a daze and realized I was still lying on the road, so I got myself up onto the pedestrian walkway and laid down in a pool of blood.
No apologies, no “are you okay?”, the driver didn’t even get down to help.
By the grace of God, the crew at Esso, along East Coast road, witnessed the accident and rushed to help me. There were also 2 medical personnel who walked past and bandaged my leg; and two foreign workers who took umbrellas to shelter me and offered me water.
I cannot remember your names or your faces, but from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. To the ambulance crew and the team at Changi Hospital, thank you for taking care of me too, I have no recollection of your names but I really appreciate all your comfort and care.
My leg was pretty banged up, and even though suffer any fractures, I tore my meniscus pretty badly from the impact and I’m still unable to walk properly till date. Will be starting physio next week and doing a surgery 2 to 4 weeks from now.

Broke up with my GF as she was going on holiday with her EX and refused to let me come.
So my (24M) now ex-girlfriend (34) had a holiday planned with her EX before me and her met 4 months ago.

I was driven to hell for years by my mother. She left me for months on end to care for my siblings by myself while she was living a lavish lifestyle hooking up with another man, she used me to vent and heavily emotionally and both verbally and physically hurt me.
She was a huge narcissist and only cared for herself, not my siblings and I. However, I wasn’t the only one who experienced this nightmare… My sister did as well. I remember the screams that my sister made when she was beaten, they were the most blood-curdling ones and they terrified me…
After I ripped my mother off of her, I would usually have a panic attack and cry as I was curled up in a ball.
My sister and I pleaded to the security cameras for help and even planned running away in the past, we never did. We don’t recall many home-cooked meals, only instant meals, frozen meals and fast food. I was eventually kicked out of my home for defending my sister and I. No, I didn’t physically fight my mother, I reminded her of all the years of trauma we both dealt with.
