AH BENG LIM KOPI THEN SPIT AT STRANGER’S PARKED CAR

A video emerged online showing a man drinking out of a cup while waiting for a lift at a multistorey carpark.

He was then seen spitting the beverage onto a parked car, without realising that the dashcam of the vehicle was on.

The incident happened on 10 April at about 1.22am, at a multi-storey carpark at Block 734A Jurong West Street 73.

The man was initially seen in the video walking past the parked car while drinking out of his cup.

Moments later, he was then seen pressing the lift button and while waiting for the lift, decides to spit at the camcar.

GIRL HIRED AS “ADMIN ASSISTANT” BUT MADE TO WORK AS NURSE

0

Recently started working at a hospital 5 days ago, and signed up as an admin assistant to handle patients discharge and registration, etc. Along with basic paper work and data entry. First two days was pleasant and colleagues were super kind and friendly, and I was adapting well. Suddenly, today I was transferred to a new ward that is very different from my previous isolation ward. I was sent to a general ward where it is more busy and there is very little isolation within patients.

Along with the sudden transfer, I was very stressed when my new supervisor started being very aggressive to me. I have a bad history of chronic anxiety and I react badly to triggers. As the workplace routine was different from my previous post, I followed the routine in my new place and got scolded by the SV, with her shouting in my ear which caused me a lot of alarm.

On top of that, when I keyed in a data entry wrongly (as I was following the previous post’s format), she hit my hand (not too hard but still pain could be felt), and it triggered me very badly, to the point where I had two anxiety attacks and I threw up in the toilet and broke down. I am extremely sensitive to harsh verbal and physical attacks due to my past experiences and this was very alarming for me.

After which I was also informed that as I was working a PM shift , I had to do para nursing duties (like cleaning patients, feeding and carrying them etc.) Which was NOT informed in my contract, and I am uncomfortable with as I am generally quite a frail person and I’m living with two elderly, so they are very against me having contact with the patients as much as I don’t wish to say this in a bad way.

The supervisor further added that since the PM shift already has enough admin assistants, I will be mainly doing the nursing duties which I was very displeased about, as she was indirectly saying that I am doing the job of a FT nurse while severely underpaid under the job title of an admin assistant. This is something out of my job scope and I have no experience with, much less being comfortable and willing to do it.

After which, I called my hiring agent and told her about the events as well as the changes, and she aggressively replied that her other colleague had informed me about the said necessary nursing duties needed through a phone call before. I had no recollection about this, and my chats with her and the contract stated no such things, other than to do ad-hoc duties, but not to totally change my whole job scope!!

When I asked to be transferred back to my original post, she also said that she won’t do so if I can’t agree to do the nursing duties. But back at my old post, NONE of the admin assistants had to do them because we were simply not trained and not allowed to touch the infectious patients. FYI, there was also another hired temp staff that didn’t show up since the first day of work as she was on indefinite leave. Why couldn’t they just have had me replace her than to waste our time too?

I’m really frustrated as I can’t terminate my contract because the agent had mentioned that I will have to pay liquidated damages (which I can’t afford because I come from a very disadvantaged background and I’m already working hard for this…). I would like to seek advice from fellow healthcare workers or people in the knows in general as I also reached out to my peers and they just felt like they were exploiting and bullying me since I’m a young temp staff. Is there any way I can reach out for help such as from MOM? I’m really crushed and disheartened by this after a wonderful first two day of work and then being mistreated like this after.

PS: please don’t call me sensitive or a strawberry as it’s very invalidating of my trauma and I have the rights to feel that way too. I’m generally a very resilient person but I don’t think these forms of harassment are acceptable.

HUSBAND GETS ANGRY WHEN WIFE CHECKS POCKET FOR TISSUE DURING LAUNDRY

0

Yesterday, and while I was about to do the laundry, I grabbed his work pants and dug my hand in its pockets to empty them before putting it in the washing machine like I always do. People that look the laundry will know what happens if there is tissue paper.

My husband just happened to walk by when he saw me searching his pants pockets. He rushed in yelling at me to put his pants down.

I already had a folded piece of paper out but he snatched it and then started screaming at me about how I have no respect for his privacy and that I shouldn’t be getting my hands on his things. I was genuinely dumbfounded I told him to take it easy I always do this before laundry.

He lashed out saying I had no right and should’ve come to him and asked him first because he was worried about important documents getting lost like the one I pulled out. I said important documents shouldn’t be inside his pockets and asked to see the paper but he said he won’t show me. I asked why and he said I don’t get to ask him after I disrespected his privacy.

I almost laughed because what privacy does he have in his pockets? It wasn’t like a stranger was digging into them.

He refused to speak to me and later brought a new closet with A LOCK and moved his clothes inside of it. I asked if he was serious and he said this will teach me to respect his privacy and deter my snooping. Then went back to not speaking to me.

I’m genuinely confused

Here are what netizens think:

  • Checking pockets for things that don’t go in the washer is one of the first steps of laundry, it’s not snooping. That’s a really weird reaction.
  • Confirm something fishy going on, sure is cheating
  • Maybe got receipt from expensive restaurant with ANOTHER GIRL

WANG LEI OFFERING $16K FOR SAFE RETURN OF MISSING 22 Y.O M’SIAN GIRL

0

A 22-year-old Malaysian girl, Chia Min Yong, has been missing since 5 April, and local entertainer Wang Lei took to his social media platform to help the family find her.

Wang Lei said during a live stream broadcast on his Facebook on 9 April that he is offering RM10,000 to anyone who can find the missing girl.

However, when he later found out that the girl’s father’s boss had offered RM100,000, Wang upped her reward to RM50,000.

Speaking directly to Chia through his broadcast, Wang appealed to her to return home soon if she is watching the video, saying that her parents are worried sick.

Wang shared how he relates to her parents’ worries, as he has a daughter himself, and he revealed that her parents are crying everyday ever since she went missing.

He also revealed that Chia’s mother hasn’t been eating for days, and her father had stopped his work in Singapore to return to Malaysia to try to find her.

Wang also offered her a job as his assistant if she needs money, and if she doesn’t want to work in Singapore, he has another position in his company that is based in Penang.

Referring to her family’s suspicion that she has been kidnapped (because they suspect the last message that she sent was not sent by her, but by someone else), Wang appealed to the alleged kidnappers to release her.

He also told the alleged kidnappers to threaten him instead of harassing her parents.

Sent her mother a message on the day she went missing

Chia sent a message to her mother on 5 April at around 7pm, saying that she was doing very badly at work and is having money problems.

She also shared that she hasn’t had money to eat for the last three months, and apologised for running away from home to work elsewhere.

MAN KICKED BROTHER’S FAMILY OUT OF HOME AFTER NEPHEW STOLE A $4,000 RING

Am I wrong for kicking my brother and his family out after his son stole my engagement ring?

The reason I know is that I literally caught him in my room going through my things. And it’s on freakin camera. My nephew is 9 and has a habit of stealing things. They’ve gotten in trouble a few times at stores because he’d leave with something in his pockets.

But ofc because he’s a kid they usually just say he forgot he had it. Even at school, my brother has told me they have had to come to talk to the principal on a couple occasions. Doesn’t seem like they’ve done anything to stop it.

They had to come to stay here with me because my brother lost his job and they weren’t gonna make it with all their bills including and their renovation is stuck. He’s doing Grab while he searches for a job and they can move out. I didn’t want to because of my nephew specifically but family is family I guess. A month ago I finally bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend that I was planning on proposing to soon but now I don’t know.

It’s a $4k ring that I spent over a year saving up for. It’s been hidden in my room under one of my drawers. One time when I found him snooping in my room I told my brother to control his kid, then got one of those cheap spy cams in my room just incase. Then last week I noticed it was out of its box, after checking the cam it showed he was in there again when I wasn’t home. My brother and his wife have yelled at him.

He says he left it by the tv in the guest room but it’s not there. They looked through all their stuff and his too. I know for a fact he’s lying about not having it because that’s the same thing he said about one of my watches he took then ended up finding it. By the second day my brother tells me they can’t find it at all. And I told him either they find the ring or he repays me the $4k I spent on it, if not they can’t stay here anymore.

My brother got really upset, he told me I know how their situation is right now, and yeah it’s a tough spot but I couldn’t ignore the fact that his kid he can’t parent took something extremely important to me that costed a lot of time and money.

They were given a week to leave my house if they don’t find the ring. They’re having to stay at a cheap hotel but my brother won’t stop begging to come back because what they’re paying right now each night is coming directly out of their savings. He won’t stop calling me heartless about letting something like this come between helping them out through a difficult time and my nephew keeps saying he’s sorry.

It’s just hard right now to want them around. Don’t even know what to do about the ring and every time I think about it it just makes me so mad that it’s hard to care about their situation.

Does that mean I’m in the wrong?

20 Y.O GUY WHO IS BALDING CAN’T GET GF, GIRLS SAY ITS A “DEALBREAKER”

0

Are balding males in their early 20s a turn off for girls?

Hello there! I just wanna know if balding males in their 20s who are looking to be in a relationship are a turnoff/dealbreaker for girls?

I’m in my early 20s and I’m already balding because of androgenic alopecia. I’m currently taking Finasteride (a long-term medication) on a daily basis for about 1 and a half month already.

This seems to be taking a toll on me in terms of being in a relationship. Some told me that this is a dealbreaker.

I also feel that this balding thing is also taking a toll on my self esteem. 🙁

Netizens’ comments

  • Be confident!! Ignore haters and love the lovers!! Work on areas you’re proud of. Be it appearance and non appearance.

Bald is not unattractive. Making fun of bald people is. But dun slap people.

  • Its not a dealbreaker but lets be honest here – looks are important to a certain extent, especially at the very initial phase of getting to know someone (dont lie)

Once you are past that phase, the person should love and accept you for who you are, and not purely just based on looks (we’re all gonna get old and saggy one day anyway)

Easier said than done, but you just gotta look for someone who will appreciate you for who you are

CYNTHIA KOH’S MERC GETS VANDALISED: “I WON’T LET THIS GO”

Actress Cynthia Koh shared how her Mercedes was vandalised while being parked at a private estate from 2pm to 6pm on 6 April.

Her dashcam footage couldn’t capture the culprit in the act as it only boots up when the car has been started.

Posting on her Instagram stories, the irate actress captioned:

“I couldn’t drive anymore. Lucky run on flat tyre. Tried to fill it with air, cannot at all. Called the tyre replacement, at the point, I’m on the verge of tears.

I parked at a private housing estate, I won’t understand why this person is so mean. I went to the police station to make the report after.

Today I will have to file the report with the court, I won’t let this go, too many of this type of people around.

If you are a car owner, you will know how upset I am. It’s not about fixing the car, it’s about how sickening these people can be to think its okay to do this to others.

If you can do this, I’m sure you can face the consequences.”

MAN LENDS FOREIGN MASSAGE LADY MONEY AFTER HEARING SOB STORY

0

A man shared an embarrassing story of his friend that he described as “something very far from intelligent”.

Here is the story:

I went for a massage with my friend and we assumed that it was a normal clean massage until the masseurs started to get naughty.

I politely rejected it, my friend who is in the other room decided to pay for the extra services.

After we exit the massage parlour, he told me that he took her Wechat contact so he can know when she work and return if he is feeling “tired”. I did not think much of it as I know EXACTLY what kind of person he is.

One month went by and I met him again for dinner and he started to tell me how he has fallen in love with the masseurs after that “short romance” session.

I told him that he is crazy and that what he felt is not love. He told me that he borrowed the masseur $1,200 as her mother in Vietnam is sick and requires money for medications.

I slap myself on the forehead after hearing it as I know exactly what had happened and kept quiet.

A few days later, he called me while crying saying that the girl is gone and no longer working there.

Here are what netizens think:

  • a typical guy who thinks with the wrong head
  • Another bites the dust, welcome to the world.
  • Maybe he really feels affectionate towards the massage lady and took a leap of faith. Lucky only $1,200 not $120,000.
  • The massage macham milking the cow sia. or literally. LOL

WIFE WANTS OPEN MARRIAGE IF NOT SHE’LL LEAVE, HUSBAND GIVES IN

0

wife wanted an open marriage for years. i gave in

For years she wanted one and I always said no thanks. Its not what I want. She tells me she’s unhappy. She’s not monogamous. She was either going to do it and hurt me or leave me and hurt me or don’t do it and hurt herself, I didn’t want to lose her so gave in.

I said we would try it. And as expected I hate it. She has several guys. After her and her after them. She only wants fwb no relationships. I can’t stand the thought. It made me think violent thoughts. The other night she was nearby with one of them and I legit had the thought to go confront them. That isnt me. I’m a very calm person and never want to incite violence.

But when I thought about it I was one binary option away from doing something that I would have regretted..

She doesn’t want to stop. I told her I wasn’t ok with this anymore. And she hit me with well I’m having fun and I don’t want to stop. I see that it’s ruining our relationship.

Before I agreed to being open our marriage wasn’t great. We have had issues for a long time. Me not engaging with her how she likes. Or even having hobbies together.. Maybe I deserve to watch her connect with people like we never could.

So we’re done. We’re gonna get a divorce. But idk when because divorces aren’t exactly cheap. And I’m the only income. I have her car payment. Her insurance. Our rent. I can’t pay for a divorce rn. also since she doesn’t have a job she can’t move out. So I lm here with her. Together but not together. It’s maddening.

Everyone is Saying to divorce and stop paying for everything, but it’s not that easy. She’s the mother of my child. But I can’t have her lose her only way to potentially get food for my child.

Like I had said our marriage before being open had it’s fair share of problems.

We got married too early. We had a child too young. We placed ourselves in boxes that no longer fit, she changed or rather she embraced what was there. She started choosing herself. After years of putting us first and being unhappy. I can’t be mad at her.

I do wish she could just not… At least until we are separated. And I dont have to sleep in the same bed..

NETIZEN COMPARES BETWEEN DATING VIET BU & SIAM BU

0

An article was seen online whereby a netizen who have dated Thai and Vietnamese girls before were comparing his preference of girls from both Thailand and Vietnam and what is his ideal from these two nationalities.

Do note that the article is the view of the netizen alone and does not represent any of the views of the writers over at Singapore Uncensored.

Here are some of the pointers which were pointed out.

Physical appearance and attractiveness

Skin type: Vietnamese tend to have fairer/paler skin as compared to Thai girls who are generally darker and tanner.

However, not all Thai girls are dark and tan especially those who stay in the Northeastern region who have lighter and fairer skin.

Body figure: Vietnamese girls tends to be curvier and more well endowed at places where it matters even though they are petite and smaller sized as compared to the Thais.

Thai girls are not as well endowed as their Vietnamese counterparts and even if there is, most of it are usually ‘fake’.

Height: Vietnamese girls tends to be shorter compared to Thai girls.

They say that heaven is fair which is why Vietnamese girls gets the fairer skin type and nicer figure and Thai girls get the height but lose out to their Vietnamese counterparts in terms of complexion and figure.

Netizen’s choice: Vietnamese Girls

Hook up culture

Vietnamese Girls: Girls from Vietnam are more conservative, so don’t expect to get them into bed after just one meeting or so.

Patience is key in the game plan if you want to get them into bed and on top of patience, you will have to put in effort in the relationship before she will even think of sleeping with you.

Thai Girls: Girls from Thailand are more open as compared to their Vietnamese counterparts, which is why you often see foreigners with Thai girls.

Especially in city areas like Bangkok, the girls are not as traditional compared to those from the more rural areas and it is easier to get casual relationships there.

Even so, there are many Thai girls in Bangkok which are girlfriend material.

Netizen’s choice: Thai Girls

Appeal to men

Vietnamese Girls: Despite being more conservative by nature, Vietnamese girls are so much more appealing to men.

Many Vietnamese Girls go for the classy look of wearing their traditional Ao Dai wear, and it is as though that they are revealing everything when they are actually revealing nothing.

Other girls who do not don the Ao Dai usually wears those extremely tight short jeans which shows the curves at their bottoms and also wear tank tops/summer dresses which reveals their bosoms.

Go to Vietnam and see for yourself what the netizen means.

He describes the look as a look where gets him too mesmerised and weak all over.

Thai Girls: Most Thai Girls do not show as much skin as their Vietnamese counterparts unless they are working at a bar.

The local women in Thailand also tend to go for the classier dress sense which do not show much skin and on top of that, their figures are not as good as Vietnamese girls.

Netizen’s Choice: Vietnamese Girls

Overall Winner

The overall winner from the netizen’s point of view are the Vietnamese Girls.

He describes them as more friendly, ambitious, appealing and feminine as compared to their Thai counterparts and even so, they are more conservative, making them a good choice as a dating partner or future wife.

However, the netizen also adds that if you are looking for something more casual or just a companion, Thai girls will be a better choice as they are more friendly and open to trying new things.
