I’m finding it so hard to try and get along with my brother’s gf. She is 2 years older than me and she keep calling me xmm instead of my name which I find its so disrespectful. She doesn’t have a stable job and have only worked part time jobs as far as I’m aware. Her last part time job was in a clothing shop but it closed down because of covid and she hasn’t been working since.

I know my brother has been giving her an allowance as both her parents have retired. She also like to poke her nose into our family matters. Once she asked me how much I earn in front of everyone and I refused to say. I find her offensive and I don’t know what my brother sees in her.

She doesn’t wear feminine clothes and has a boy’s hairstyle. She looks like a butch to me. I never told my brother that I dislike his gf but I think my behavior shows as I don’t talk much when she comes over or I will hide in my room for hours.

My parents say there is a chance my brother may marry this girl so I should try to get along with her. How? When she is so mean towards me?! I find I am more socially exposed than her as I work in many different places because of my job.

And I cannot stand it when she try to talk down to me and try to educate me about my job which she knows nothing of. Very often she will talk to me about her old school days which I find she’s so out of touch and outdated in life as I worked for more than 5 years and don’t think of school days anymore unlike her.

The breaking point for me is when I found out she entered my room when I wasn’t home, went through my things and ‘borrowed’ one of my branded handbag. I was furious.

I told my brother but he said she is just borrowing it and will return me soon. She even told me I have so many bags and she only took one bag. She don’t see the fuss?!!!!! I lost it. I used my entire vocabulary and demanded her to return my bag. I said there is covid, makes no sense to share personal use items too. She tried to play victim and cried to my brother.

Now everyone thinks I’m the bad guy for being so petty over a bag when she is my future sister in law. This is so frustrating. I don’t think I’m in the wrong. And I have no idea how to make things better when I’m so disgusted with her behavior.

My Tinder date said he hopes my dog dies from carbon monoxide poisoning after I had to cancel last minute because there was a massive fire in my building

I’m laughing so hard right now. You can’t make this up. My stomach hurts so much from laughing lmao.

I was supposed to meet a guy for coffee today and while I was getting ready an electrical fire broke out in my downstairs neighbor’s apartment. His whole apartment burned out, we all had to evacuate because the entire building filled with smoke and toxic gas

I was literally standing on the side of the road with my dog, when I texted my date that I wouldn’t make it because there was a fire and that I was really sorry to cancel last minute.

I even sent him pictures because I thought that it was just too crazy to believe. I didn’t want him to think I made it up to get out of the date last minute. I actually looked forward to it because he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. We didn’t talk for long because he suggested a meeting right away which might have been a little suspicious but I had nothing else to do so I thought why not and started getting ready to meet him after just 3 hours of texting. (Don’t worry we were gonna meet in a public space, Im not that crazy lol)

Anyways, he got mad, called me 13 times because he had “already arrived at the cafe and now drove all this way for nothing”. He literally lives like a 10 min car ride away. I told him off for being angry and said it’s not my fault and to stop calling me, that I didn’t have time to talk to him right now because I was consoling my neighbor who had a breakdown because his cat had not been found yet.

My dog was shaking really hard because of all the noise and excitement and smoke and my sobbing and screaming neighbor. All of it really traumatized him. That’s why when my date suggested to meet up a few hours later I declined with the reason that my dog is super panicked and I didn’t want to leave him alone after going thru this scary experience.

Well that’s when this guy decided it was a good idea to say that he hopes my dog dies from the smoke inhalation because apparently my dogs mental state shouldn’t be more important than the dates I set up with humans. I laughed so hard and blocked him everywhere. I still cant believe this all happened today within the last 4 hours but I guess it’s good that I have something ridiculous to laugh about that distracts me from this whole disaster because I would probably cry otherwise lol
