A father who was riding at Toa Payoh shouted instigated an argument with a driver and shouted at a driver after he and his son was nearly hit by a car.

The father is training his son as the next-generation Tour De France rider also known as the king of the road.

The incident happened at eat Toa Payoh Central on 8 April 2022

Instead of always checking out for traffic when riding, the man decides to show his son that it’s his right to shout at other drivers and demand for his right of way.

• The cyclist logic meant, for drivers after sounding the horn, you have right of way and okay to bang anyone in front for not getting out of the way. Safety first folks. Avoid collision at all costs.

According to SG Road Vigilante, a Grabfood motorised wheelchair was seen going highspeed at 50km/hour along Senkang East way on April 10 2205 HRS.

Penalties

 Under the Active Mobility Act, it is an offence for PMDs to be used on roads, footpaths and/or pedestrian-only paths – PMDs are only allowed to be used on shared paths (cycling paths).

 Offenders caught riding their PMDs on the roads, footpaths and/or pedestrian-only paths, face a fine of up to $2,000 and/or a jail term of up to 3 months.
