AUNTIE SCOLD MAN AFTER TELLING HER TO LET PASSENGERS ALIGHT FIRST @ JURONG EAST

We all have our fair share of selfish commuters who refused to give way to alight first, some even go as far as using their age as an excuse to behave like a total AH.

There is this saying “age gracefully”

A man shared his experience boarding at Jurong East MRT and he was told off by an “auntie” that did not care.

Here is his story:

I honestly mean no harm here but just posting this so that people will be more aware! Please let others go out of the train first, stand one side. All these shouldn’t be said again. We are adults. We should know all these courtesy by now because govt paid a lot of money on advertisements and etc yet it all gone to waste. All these shouldn’t be taught again and again. Don’t send me hate or whatsoever pls. Thanks!

DISCLAIMER: Please do not blame the SMRT staffs! They were actually doing their job but we also have a part to play too. One person simply can’t handle ALL the doors on the platforms right.

And also, please do not say I should have done something. I am a regular commuters at Jurong East and I have said this a lot of times to strangers. I even told one aunty off and she scolded me for it. So enough is enough and I have to rely on social medias in hope that you would tell your family members about it too.

Just want a safe journey for everyone. Imagine if one person is rushing for the opposite train and once the door open, people tried to come in. People will get injured!

Thanks everyone!

UNI CLASSMATE SPAMS CALL 49 TIMES CAUSE GUY LOOKS LIKE HER EX-BF

I was studying at poly when I met her. She initiated the first convo by saying you look like my ex-boyfriend. To which I replied I look like myself and in the first place why are you still thinking about your ex-boyfriend after the breakup move on? She was like can I sit beside you please, I was like you may.

She frequently offer me food, snacks, and sweets which I would politely refuse. After class, she will ask me to teach her the topics that the lecturer went through. I told her to concentrate in class to which she will say you are so smart that’s why I’m asking you. I told her it was 10 pm and I need to head home. So instead I told her to send the questions which she doubts my WhatsApp and I will guide her she did. I worked out the solutions with clear steps and send her. She was like thank you for this Saturday are you free to coach me on my weak modules? I fell asleep and didn’t reply to her.

At 4 am she started calling me non stop and by the time I looked at my phone it was 6 am. There were 49 missed calls,30 WhatsApp messages, and 5 Facebook messages. I thought it was some emergency, When I called her she was like can you come now and teach me? I got agitated and immediately said no.

In class, I ignored her and moved away. She was like waiting for me at the school gate and confronted me. I told her she is behaving like a juvenile. She started crying and pleading for forgiveness and my other friends were watching I was like I forgive you stop crying and head home. She wanted me to help her one last time to help her do last min revision and pleaded with me that she would trouble me after that. I agreed to meet her at our school canteen, I do carry a phone to take notes and pictures of the teacher slide when he teaching. She was aware of this. I went to the washroom and came back my mobile was missing I searched for it high and low but I couldn’t find it. I asked her she was like you suspecting me she hurled vulgarities and walked away.

I was devastated not just because I lost my mobile as it was a gift from my mom and she was not alive then. That phone has all her pictures, voice records, and videos of her cooking.

After graduation, she messaged me and asked me if I could be her reference for her new job. She begged me and I felt it’s someone rice bowl and I should help her one last time and stop talking to her.

Her hiring manager called me and I gave good feedback eventually she got the job. She thanked me. I didn’t text her after that.

2 months later, she emailed me saying all her colleagues are avoiding her the hiring manager also doesn’t have a good impression of her. She blamed me for all this, I explained to her I got nothing to do with all this she didn’t believe me and started cursing me saying I won’t prosper in life. I was fed up and I blocked her.

Now she messaging our mutual friend asking for my forgiveness!!

Everyone, please tell me how you all feel and what will you guys do if you were in my shoes.

PRC WORKERS BEAT CORGI TO DEATH WHILE OWNERS WERE IN QUARANTINE

0

A video of a pet corgi getting beat to death in China has been a topic of discussion, especially for dog lovers.

The video shows a corgi wandering on the streets and a man wearing protective gear which is often worn by China COVID-19 workers.

Owners on Quarantine

The incident reportedly happened in the city of Shanghai, after owners were tested positive for COVID-19 and send for quarantine

Due to the nature of the video, it was quickly removed by multiple social media platforms, the dog was left lying in a pool of blood after getting attacked by a spade.

When the owners of the dog found out that they have to serve a quarantine order, they have two choice.

Letting the dog starve to death

Letting the dog run free

They choose the latter hoping someone would pick the dog up and care for it. Little did they know that the COVID-19 workers were so cruel.

This is not the first time COVID-19 workers in China had done something like this. Previously, a pet dog was also beaten to death by COVID-19 health workers in China.

0

According to a media release by the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), two men and a woman are currently being detained for certain offences and also for not stopping for arrival immigration clearance when they reached Tuas Checkpoint.

This happened on 8 April 2022 at 2.14am when the Malaysian registered vehicle which was driven by a Singaporean male avoided clearance at Malaysia’s immigration when departing, which led to Malaysia’s Traffic Police giving chase.

An Auxiliary Police Officer (APO) who was on duty at Tuas Checkpoint spotted this and activated the alarm which locked down Tuas Checkpoint.

Tried to avoid the lockdown at the Checkpoint

The driver then tried to avoid the lockdown by squeezing through the motorcycle lanes but failed because the lanes were too narrow for his vehicle.

While attempting, the vehicle crashed into the counters and also caused an abrasion to an officer’s ankle.

Subsequently, the driver was caught by the ICA officers.

Passengers tried to flee on foot

The two passengers who were inside the vehicle also tried to flee on foot but was caught by APO officers in the end.

Based on their declaration, the two passengers were identified as a male Chinese national and a female Vietnamese national.

Both allegedly did not have any valid travel documents on them.

Driver wanted by Central Narcotics Bureau

The Driver was also discovered to be wanted by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) after initial investigations were conducted.

He was in possession of a Singapore Passport which is tampered.

A urine test was also conducted on the driver and he was found to be positive for drug consumption.

Immigration & Passport Act

The ICA would like to reiterate that it takes a serious view on attempts to enter Singapore illegally and also on possession of tampered Singapore travel documents.

Under the Immigration Act, those attempting to enter Singapore illegally are liable to be punished with imprisonment of up to six months and minimum of three strokes of the cane.

Under the Passport Act, those found possessing false Singapore travel documents are liable to a fine of up to $10,000 and imprisonment of up to 10 years or both.

Those who damage government properties are liable to a fine of $2,000 or imprisonment of up to three years and caning.
