On closer inspection the man was throwing 1 ringgit note at the band, netizens were commenting that it is “only 1 ringgit” calling the man trying very hard to appear like a “baller” (A term used to describe those who flaunts their wealth).

While many others replied and said it’s not the amount it is disrespectful as if the band members are adult performers.

One of the netizens pointed out that it is a normal behaviour in middle east “This is normal if you live in the middle east. That is how they reward the performers there. Shower them with notes”

But unfortunately, there were in Malaysia and not the middle east. The band members remained professional and continued playing their songs ignoring the man.

MAN EATS DURIAN HUSK WITH RAW CHILLI, SAYING IT’S DELICIOUS

0

With the world so big, there will always be food that we don’t get a chance to try. People either don’t get to try it or it tastes totally different from what one would have gotten used to.

Durians are a fruit that is something that either you love or hate just like parsley and coriander, either it smells superb or it stinks.

Durian with chilli dip

A video recently went viral with a man eating a durian husk by dipping it in chopped chillies.

The man cut up his durian differently than how we used to in Singapore.

Netizens wondered if the durian is real but many can’t help stop thinking that it just looks too painful to even try.

But judging from the sounds of the chewing it sounded real, many people are saying that it should be real and said that he could be doing so just to get views on the internet.

GUY WHO EARNS $2K/MONTH, ASKS “HOW CAN A POOR PERSON LIKE ME GET RICH”

0

I am in my mid 20s, drawing $2000 per month, poly grad.

As I look at the society right now, I feel lost and will not be safe for me to keep living like this.

With the inflation rates going up, and salary are not increasing in the same rate, I feel like I cannot survive 10 years down the road like this.

I have to find ways to improve myself!

I’m seeking for inspiration to how I can become better.

There are some options I have heard, but I wish to hear new ones too.

  • Do grabfood, I heard of people earning $5k, but have to push, through the sun and rain, and we are under the mercy of the app. If the business is not good, I don’t know what skills I can retain from here to move to another job.
  • Real estate agent, I see many of them showing off their achievements of the month, but also have heard many do not get any income for many months until they found a client. I am interested in this, but not too sure what are the risks, I cannot survive many months without income at the moment.
  • Sign up for university, I’m not quite sure which course to go to, and I don’t have enough cash flow to go for local uni, maybe someone can advise if I should choose this route.

Netizen’s comments

not a career coach but ultimately in sg there are two main routes to reaching median income or above

  1. get a degree, join corporate climb ladder or get enough experience to set up your own biz.
  2. hustle meaning running your own biz from the start , doing some internet biz (crypto trading, affliate mkting or influencer or smth) or doing sales (for a company or RE or Insurance). higher risk , but requires more hardwork, street smartness and social skills.

1 is definitely the safer and usual route that most sgreans take if they can study. People who want to make it big and be RICH RICH takes 2) which is wayyyyy riskier. the success rate is ultimately low.

another TIP because seems like you are looking at 2) joining RE, never never never never never let other people’s success influence you. RE and FA often put on a “rich” facade to make clients and potential joiners feel they are successful.

some people do do both like work a full time job while selling insurance or real estate or running a side gig.

60 Y.O GERMAN MAN TOOK 90 COVID SHOTS, WANTED TO SELL VAXXED STATUSES

0

A 60-year-old man from Magdeburg, Germany, allegedly took 90 Covid-19 vaccination shots, because he was trying to sell forged vaccination cards to those who didn’t want the jab, according to the Associated Press.

The man is being accused of taking multiple shots of the vaccines for months at vaccinations centres in Saxony.

He was caught earlier this month at a vaccination centre in Eilenburg when he turned up for his Covid jab for the 2nd day in a row.

Several blank vaccination cards were then seized from him by the German police and criminal proceedings has been launched against him.

His vaccination cards which had been forged, had real vaccination batch numbers.

DPA, a news agency from Germany, reported that he was not detained, but is being investigated for the unauthorised issuance of vaccination cards, as well as the forgery of documents.

At the time of writing, it is unclear what 90 shots of the Covid-19 vaccine does to the human body (he had shots from different vaccine brands as well).

It is also unclear how much he was paid to get the jabs in place of others.

MAN LOST WIFE & DAUGHTER, FEELS LIKE A FAILURE WATCHING THEM DIE

0

I am 32. I was a dad. I was a husband. My wife was 30. My daughter was 4, almost 5.

In November we went somewhere, I don’t remember where, it doesn’t matter. We got hit by a drunk driver. My wife was killed instantly, so at least she didn’t suffer.

My daughter wasn’t as lucky. She was put into ICU. Broken neck and ribs, collapsed lung, internal bleeding. I only

My daughter held out until January, but hadn’t gotten better. They said it’d just be better to let her go. Plus there were so many COVID patients that needed tending to, so…I watched as they pulled the plug.

I feel like a useless person. I feel like a failure of a father, watching his daughter die. I know there wasn’t anything I could do, that her struggle wasn’t getting her anywhere.

Even now in April, I’m just not ready to talk about it. Why was I fine but they weren’t? Why did God decide to forsake me, alone? Why did I have to lose my only family?

Netizens’ comments

  • Man. Wish I could I could give you a hug and say it’s not your fault. Sending lots of bro hugs down your way.
  • Survivor guilt is a very common occurrence, I am heartbroken for you, no parent should have to go through the death of a child. I would respectfully suggest grief counseling, you may find tools there that can help you through the process.
  • You were a great dad, you were there with her. Sometimes that’s all we can ask of each other.

You feel guilty, that means you cared.

It’s gut-wrenching, there is nothing that will change it.

Please get someone to talk to, a therapist, it will help you find a way to get through things. They wouldn’t want you to lose your life or your way in life because of some drunk driver.

Get help, move your life forward, you’ll never move on, their memories will always be there, make it the good ones, share their story.

JOHOR POLICE – VIRAL VIDEO OF S’POREAN BEING ROBBED IS FROM 2014

0

A Facebook user, Les Lynn Lim, shared a few video clips online on 1 April alleging that Singaporeans were being robbed in Johor Bahru by motorcycle gangs.

The Johor Police have since come out and refuted the claims on 3 April, saying that the incidents were fake and that the videos were old clips from 2014.

They then warned against the spreading of false information and urged the public to be careful of fake news.

In Lim’s Facebook post, she captioned it:

“Footage of Motorists gang in JB robbing Sporean motorists & cars. Those driving in pls b v v safe. (Funny thing is the jam motorcycle lane cleared within an hour)”

One of the videos showed a motorcyclist who was alone being surrounded by about a dozen other riders and forced to get down from his bike, and he was then seen surrendering some items to them before they fled.

Johor police chief, Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat emphasized that the videos and photos were fake, and he added:

“The act of spreading and making false speculation is illegal and action can be taken under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1988.”

GIRL ASKS “DO MEN EVEN LIKE WOMEN”, SAYS SHE FEELS LIKE AN OBJECT

0

Do Men even like Women?

I feel like, that a lot of men don’t really like women. They never did. Like, yeah, they like intercourse but other than that, I only read so much negative things. I even had personal experiences.

I feel like an Object, an achievement. Like something you can brag about to your guy friends. Something of a guys check-list. Then I only hear guys being annoyed at their GFs or Wifes. Like the stuff they are “forced to do” and how much they were single again so their partner would “Stop annoying” them.

I worked as a waitress in a bar/restaurant. The things I have heard or seen truly shocked me at times. Either it was a guy “bringing” his GF on a “date”. I put date in quotes because the way they treated their partner at times just disgusted me.

And then there are the guys who come in for an evening out and while serving them, all I would hear at times is them complaining about their GF/Wifes. Like they didn’t choose them in the first place. Don’t get me started on the guys over 40. That’s all just “I hate my wife more than anything else in my entire life and no one can change my mind.”

If you are in the gaming community, all you hear mostly is “Go back to the kitchen” “Bring me a sandwich” “Not a game for girls” “You wanna see my D?” And other things that bring women down for the “funs”

It didn’t get better when I got a (ex)boyfriend myself. He made me feel like a damn trophy that he could put in and out of his shelf whenever he needed and would get annoyed any time I wanted to do something with him.

I recently stumbled across a tiktok with the exact same thought that were going through my mind, I sadly for got which user. And I haven’t been able to let go of it. I am scared of dating. I just want to love someone and be loved.

But I feel like, all I am is an object, an achievement, a trophy, a womb, something to brag about with the boys, a housekeeper, a replacement mommy. Anything but an equal human being that you chose to be with. It has been circling around my head for days now at end and I feel like I needed to get it of me now.

Yeah, thats it. Thanks for reading. Just needed to get this of. Have a good night.
