MAN BUYS TACO, BITES DOWN ON 3.5CM PIECE OF METAL HIDDEN INSIDE

A netizen shared how he bought Tacos from Guzman y Gomez (GYG), a Mexican fast food restaurant, and found a 3.5cm piece of metal inside, which he bit on.

GYG offered to compensate him after he, his wife and 2 other friends who are their food, kena diarrhoea.

The Singapore Food Agency is currently investigating the incident.

The incident happened on 25 June, when the netizen ordered Tacos from GYG at 332 Tanjong Katong Road via Deliveroo.

He took a few bites of the tacos and then he experienced a sharp pain, and he then spat the food out.

That was when he discovered a rusty piece of metal inside his food.

MAID TRY TRY LUCK, GUESS CORRECTLY EMPLOYER’S SAFE PASSWORD, STOLE $8K

Istikomah, a 38-year-old Indonesian maid, pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of obstruction of justice.

She was sentenced on 27 August to 6 months and 6 weeks imprisonment.

She had guess her employer’s safe’s password correctly and stole more than $8,000 from her.

What happened?

Istikomah started working for the victim, Hu Jing Jing, 31-years-old in February 2019.

Hu got herself a safe which she used to keep money inside and kept the safe in the maid’s bedroom.

The maid tried to unlock the safe multiple times, eventually succeeding by guess the password correctly in October 2019.

Then then unlocked it multiple times to steal Hu’s money, which she used to buy clothes, food and jewellery.

She also tried to remit the stolen money to Indonesia and asked a another maid to help her change the money to Indonesian Rupiah.

She told Hu that she wanted to stop working for her on 5 January and Hu then opened her safe 4 days later, because she wanted to give the maid some money for her return home.

She then found a part of her money missing and her friend then make a police report/

Istikomah then admitted to the police that she stole from Hu.

MAN ORDERED PRISM MONITOR FROM LAZADA, WAIT 2 MONTHS ALSO NO COME

Worst shipping experiences at LAZADA! Lazada

I have ordered Prism+ Prism+monitor on 7/7 via Lazada App. Although I understood it’s pre-order (due to the long description of product I could not know what is initial pre order arriving date ,maybe they listed middle July or late of July) and I’m ok to wait.

1. I have contacted customer service on 12/07/21 and they told me it was pre-order will arrive on late July. Fine I’m ok to wait a month.

2. I have contacted them again on 27/07/21 and they just simply rely me said that due to delay and the shipment will arrive on middle of august. Fine, I will wait half more month.

3. Latest contacted them and they told me “you can either cancelling the order” Today is 28/08/21 and I still not received any update from Prism+ Lazada customer service regards of my order. Then I went to the Lazada website and check found out they changed the pre-order to “Late August – Early September. Simply hold my $410 cash for almost 2 months without any follow up. Maybe they intend to collect more orders in few months time and manufacture in one time to help them reduce cost and saving local storage cost. MAYBE

I not sure how this kind of service still can be awarded “Lazada Top1 in electronic on 2019 and 2020” ??? Lazada

34 BUS DRIVERS INFECTED, ONLY 1 OF THEM WAS FULLY VACCINATED

34 Toa Payoh & Punggol Bus Interchange Drivers Infected, All But 1 Fully Vaccinated, This came as shocking news to many as bus drivers interact with thousands of people every day.

As of the latest update, Toa Payoh bus interchange cluster has increased to 29 people and Punggol has increased to 17.

3 other bus interchanges have been reported with cases including Bishan interchange, Sengkang Interchange and Clementi bus interchange.

MOH is investigating two separate workplace clusters amongst individuals who work in Punggol Bus Interchange and Toa Payoh Bus Interchange.

A total of 11 cases are currently linked to Punggol Bus Interchange, comprising 10 staff working in the Interchange and 1 household contact of a staff. 25 cases are currently linked to Toa Payoh Bus Interchange, all of whom are staff working in the Interchange. All staff of both Interchanges will be tested for COVID-19, and all close contacts of the cases will be placed on quarantine.

STUDENT ESSAY: “JESUS MAGIC DUST MAN TO LOVE DONKEY AND DON’T CARE”

A recent post regarding an essay written by a student has been circulating on social Media.

In the post, the student made many far fetched claims notably one where he said that Jesus use magic dust to make a man named Demetrius love donkeys and it is weird and disturbing.

At the end of the essay, the teacher asked the student if the student read the correct book or the bible to prepare for the essay.

GIANT SNAKE SEEN AT PCN, ALLEGEDLY SAME SNAKE WHO BIT A JOGGER @ MARINA BAY

A netizen shared a video of a huge snake crossing a PCN footpath where many joggers and cyclists are known to use.

The netizen said that this should be the same snake that bit a jogger in the same area (see recap below).

According to the netizen, reports have been made about the snake since early this year and yet the snake is still around the vicinity.

5 MEN CAUGHT FOR ILLEGAL GAMBLING IN AMK

According to the Police media release, Five males, aged 46 to 71, are being investigated by the police for their alleged involvement in illicit gaming.

Officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted an operation at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 at about 6.30 pm on August 26, 2021, and discovered five people gathering and engaged in gambling-related activities. The police inquiry is still underway.

Shin Min Daily News reported that the five men hid in the corner of the mailbox of the HDB and gathered to play dice.

Gaming in public is punished by a fine of not more than $5,000 or a period of imprisonment of not more than six months, or both.

The five men will be charged under the Common Gaming Houses Act.
