MAN NOT HAPPY SISTER OWE HIM $150, POST HER PERSONAL MEDICAL INFO ONLINE

Syahrel Mohamad, 36-years-old, was reportedly not happy with his younger sister for owing him $150, he then shared her medical information about her depression treatment from IMH on Instagram.

He also broke into her letter box to steal $100 worth of grocery vouchers.

Syahrel pleaded guilty on 25 August to 7 charges, which included:

  • intentionally causing distress,
  • criminal intimidation,
  • committing a rash act to endanger human life,
  • voluntarily causing hurt,
  • theft and
  • failing to report for bail.

He was sentenced to 8 months and 12 weeks imprisonment, as well as being fined $2,500.

What happened?

On 18 December 2020, Syahrel broke open his sister’s unit’s letterbox and stole her grocery vouchers worth about $100.

He then gave $30 of the vouchers to his fiancee, who didn’t know they were stolen, and the remainder to random people in the vicinity.

His sister then realised the vouchers were stolen about a fortnight later, and she was told by a helpline operator upon inquiring that they were delivered and redeemed.

She then made a police report on the same day.

Syahrel then returned to the letter box to steal more things on 19 December, when he found her IMH bill.

He posted the details of the letter online, which contained her personal details and information, captioning it “gile rupe nye… hahahahaha”.

His sister felt upset and distressed upon finding out her information was posted online and made public.

Syahrel also threated his own mother, who was a widow.

He threatened her to intimidate her into returning the $500 that he gave her, in Novemeber 2020.

He threatened to slash her head with a parang and send people to splash paint at her house.

He also threatened to hurt another sister’s family if she didn’t return the $510 he gave them to invest.

Syahrel also had a argument with a man, and he then padlocked the man’s bicycle on 16 December.

The man fell down and injured his leg while trying to ride his e-bicycle but didn’t seek treatment.

MAN’S DISAPPOINTED IN SECRET LAB AFTER 3 REFUNDS

( UPDATE; Got a call from Senior Rep, still no manager call thou, they asked me to give them one more time to rectify the issue this time round as it’s a seatbase replacement issue, since the new chair (not secretlab) that I wish to order is not in stock yet. Upcoming Monday 30/08 Judgement Day! )

*UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED*

Secretlab @Ian Ang @Alaric Choo

One of the gaming chairs that I HAD much interest and love for. But after a gruesome 7 weeks of email conversation and constant disappointment from your Team till Today, I have decided to let go of this dream of mine.

After 3 times of refund and repurchase. I’m very sick and tired of the excuses that I’m recieving from your end and the constant feeling that I as a sole consumer that’s just so little and small in my requests of just a phone call for someone to explain my extreme bad luck with your chairs or whether my orders are not being checked and are just given a perfunctory response.

Since the 2nd Chair I have recieved as the backrest was not installed properly, I have been having more back pains compared to when I was sitting on a normal chair and it’s extremely disappointing that I would have to face the same issue for the 3rd chair as well. Until today, when I have made a request for the replacement seatbase to be delivered in the morning as I’m only avaliable then, your Team chose to let me wait till now and mentioned that the delivery will be between 11-6pm which I do not have the luxury of doing so as I have work to do and am not so “free” like what most of your staffs that are supposed to be checking my orders seem to be.

So I have made a decision to let everyone know what happens when u don’t get something that you expected and u complain to one of the largest Gaming Chair Company in the world; I know that I won’t get anything out from this and if the Company is not willing to take responsibility for this then I’m gonna say I’m just unlucky to be the 1 out of so many consumers that have gotten such experience from them.

Weeks of torture having to sit on the defective chairs and having to wait and wait and wait for my hopes to be brought crashing down again and again. The misery, disappointment, pain and stress to my mental health, it’s causing me too damn much for a so called “Dream Chair”.

Photos Attached

(1st Order)

1st Chair: Titan Batman 2020

Came with holes at the backseat which I did not realise as I had thought Secretlab would have sufficient QC before sending out to customers.

2nd Chair: Titan Evo 2022

Whole chair is creaking like my grandfather’s Chair from the 90s and the backrest was not installed properly.

3rd Chair: Titan Classic 2020

Backrest was installed slanted and the seatbase had a huge dent inside making it very uncomfortable to sit on.

So all in all after 54 emails sent to and fro and a few calls that I had to make on my end to the company. This was the quality of equipment and service that I have still recieved. I still believe that Secretlab has good products from my experiences with my friend but unfortunately I was the unlucky one out of the many.

ANDRIOD VIRUS CAN EMPTY BANK ACCOUNTS, HIDDEN IN THE GOOGLE PLAY STORE

The ‘Joker’ virus, which infects Android devices and hides in numerous applications on the Google Play Store, has made a comeback, according to Belgian police. This virus is capable of automatically enrolling users to payment systems and emptying their bank accounts without their knowledge.

“This malicious program has been detected in eight Play Store applications that Google has suppressed,” said the Belgian authorities.

In 2017, the ‘Joker’ virus made headlines for infecting and stealing users by lurking in several programs. Since then, Google Play Store defensive systems have identified and deleted around 1,700 applications that contain the ‘Joker’ virus before they are downloaded by consumers.

The ‘Joker’ malware was discovered in 24 Android applications in September 2020, with over 500 thousand downloads before being deleted. It is estimated that more than 30 nations were affected at the time, including the United States, Brazil, and Spain. Hackers may take up to $ 7 (approximately 140 Mexican pesos) per subscription every week through unauthorized memberships, a figure that has most certainly grown in recent months.

GUY SAY HIS GF FORCES HIM TO WEAR TELETUBBIES COSTUME WHEN THEY F**K

A netizen shared a peculiar story about his girlfriend’s weird requests when they have s*x.

He shared that there was once she forced him to wear a teletubbies costume that she bought from overseas, with a hole at the crotch area being cut out for his c**k to come out.

Here is the story:

“Guys, my girlfriend is a f**king psycho.

She made me wear a fking Teletubbies costume to have s*x with her, you know the purple Teletubby, Tinky Winky or whatever the f**k his name is.

I don’t even know what she gets off “having s*x with a Teletubby”.

She got the costume during one of her overseas trips and she cut out the crotch area so that my c**k can come out, and we can have s*x while I’m still in the costume.

And she would film us doing it and rewatch the videos again and again for her own enjoyment.

I really don’t know what to do and I’m damn scared of her now.

I don’t dare to break up with her because I’m scared of what she might do to me, because we live together.

I really regret moving in together with her.

Any advise? Help me?”

BANK STAFF HELP STOPPED LOVE SCAM & GOVT IMPERSONATION SCAMS

Case 1 – Internet Love Scam

On June 15, 2021, the Police received information from an OCBC employee of an internet love scam in which a female bank client requested that S$10,000 be sent to a guy she had befriended and formed a connection with on a social media platform. The man stated he needed money for his company and attempted to persuade the woman to send the money to him.

Despite OCBC staff’s warnings that she may be a victim of a scam, the woman was skeptical and insisted on completing the financial transfer. She tried three times at the branch to transfer the cash. After police from Jurong Police Division urged her not to proceed with the transfer and the fraudster failed to arrive in a planned video conference, a confirmation method provided by OCBC, she was ultimately satisfied that it was a scam effort.

Case 2 – Government Official Impersonation Scam

On June 1, 2021, a female OCBC Bank client requested a $34,000 transfer to a friend who said he had been arrested by customs officials from a foreign nation for attempting to carry across a parcel containing cash intended for the victim. Her request for a transfer was deemed odd, and it was later discovered that the woman had received text messages from fraudsters. The victim was informed that it was a scam by OCBC Bank employees, who proactively communicated pertinent fraud alerts with her, including those from the Singapore Police Force. After becoming certain that it was a scam effort, the victim opted not to proceed with the transfer.

Case 3 – China Official Impersonation Scam

On April 5, 2021, the Police got information from a United Overseas Bank (UOB) employee that a female bank client had received a call from a fraudster posing as a foreign government official, accusing her of being involved in a crime. The woman had been ordered by the fraudster to send him $4,000 in cash. Her desire for a transfer seemed odd, and the staff discovered that the woman had received phone calls from fraudsters with the help of her coworkers.

After UOB employees and police from Jurong Police Division shared fraud warnings with her and urged her not to proceed with the transfer, she was ultimately persuaded that it was a scam effort.
