GUY THOUGHT “PUNDEI” MEANS GOOD EVENING, SAY TO GF MOTHER

A netizen shared how he came back to Singapore after more than 10 years abroad.

Hw was meeting some old friends from his primary school to catch up, and they taught him a new word: “Pundei”.

They told him that it meant “Good evening, good afternoon, good morning”.

He then went to his girlfriend’s house and greeted her mother with “Pundei”.

Here is the story:

“After PSLE, my parents sent me overseas to study in Australia.

By the time I returned to Singapore, 10 years had passed, I graduated and worked there for a while before coming back.

I met my Singaporean girlfriend while studying and when I returned to Singapore, she asked me to visit her mother with her whom she has not seen in a long time.

I agreed, but I asked her to meet some of my friends first because I wanted to introduce her to them.

We met for dinner and had a really good time getting to know each other, and one of them told me to say “pundei” to her mother when I see her.

I asked what does it mean, and they told me it was a greeting used to address elders respectfully.

So when I met my gf’s mother at her house for dinner, I shook her hand and said:

“Hello auntie, pundei!”

She appeared horrified and my girlfriend hurriedly chimed in and explained that I was still learning the local lingo to her mother.

After the visit, she told me that Pundei was a vulgarity and my friends had a good laugh at me.

GUY EAT WRONG MEDICINE, END UP KUKUBIRD STAND FOR 8 HOURS

A netizen shared a story about how he took the wrong medicine and ended up with an erection in public that lasted more than 8 hours.

Here is the story:

“This happened a few years ago.

I was spicing things up in the bedroom trying to satisfy my wife in the bed, so I bought some illegal s*x enhancement pills to make myself last longer.

Usually for these pills, 1 tablet is enough to take my wife into heaven.

However, one day, I was having a fever but I had to head into town to run some errands for my clients.

So I took what I thought my paracetamol, but it was actually the s*x drug.

Worst part is, for paracetamol I always take 2 at one go.

So now all of a sudden I’m having a raging erection that won’t go down, in the middle of a crowded street.

So to hide it, I saw down on a bench and leaned forward, pretending to use my phone.

I must’ve sat there for an hour and it was still hard after sitting down for so long.

So I just called my friend for help and he drove down from his house, with a huge backpack that I could use to cover my crotch.

And I then went into “hiding” at his house while waiting for my d*ck to go down.

I had a freaking erection for about 8 hours…

Moral of the story, check your medicine before eating them, most of them look alike.”

THAI WIFE FORCED DAUGHTER DANCE ON TIKTOK, “THAI DISCO GIRL IN TRAINING”

A man shared his cultural struggles after he has problems with his Thai wife for deciding the best methods to teach their children.

Here is the story:

My wife keep give our pri school girl social media and forces her to dance and records videos and put it on Tik Tok. At first, I did not say much as I thought this is a woman thing.

But my daughter’s grades started to be very poor, I told my wife who is from Thailand about it and she ignores what I say and continues pushing our daughter to dance and record videos. My daughter has reached a point she is more excited at the amount of views on the video than her grades.

The joke is, I work in the IT sector and I know how money is made on social platforms. My daughter has like 50 followers after doing it for a year and most of them are my wife’s friends, which is very very bad and have not make a cent so far.

I told my other friends about it and they said: “Siam bu damn bo liao one keep do this kind of thing rather than earn money or educate themself”

I finally got into a quarrel with my wife telling her to stop letting our daughter go over her head with social media attention. She disagrees saying that it is fun. I shouted at her

“you want her to be uneducated same as you, then next time work disco same as you? You training her to dance like how you dance when you work in a disco. Or you want her to be like a normal girl growing up.

You want her to be like you? only seek attention on social media then don’t spend time earning money but doing all this nonsense.

I told her you are training her to be an attention-seeking w***re like you, the toilet no paper post-social media, the weather is rain post-social media, you put too much fish sauce in your food also social media. You are like a caveman that just discovered fire.”

BROKE CONTRACTOR THAT DELAYED BTO ALSO HAVE NEA, LTA AND JTC PROJECTS

Contractors that pulled out of five HDB BTO projects citing financial difficulties were revealed to be involved in other government projects with NEA and LTA.

The notable projects are a new crematorium complex in Mandai and also a bus depot in Woodlands.

NEA said that Greatearth Construction, who is the main contractor for the new crematorium complex in Mandai, was expected to complete the project by end 2022.

NEA said that they will further evaluate available options to mitigate the damages caused by the delay.

Meanwhile, LTA said that Greatearth Corporation and Gamuda Berhad Singapore were awarded the contract for Gali Batu Bus Depot in November 2019.

LTA is currently discussing with Gamuda on how to ensure the project continues to run smoothly with minimal impact on the completion timeframe.

Currently, 15% of the project has been completed and full completion is estimated to be around 2024.

JTC also has two projects awarded to joint ventures involving Greatearth Construction in 2019 and 2020.

These projects are involving the construction of a key development and infrastructure works in the Bulim area and one of the precincts in the up and coming Jurong Innovation District.

However, JTC does not foresee any delays to the ongoing works as the partners in the joint ventures have agreed to take charge and fulfill the completion commitments according to the contract.
