MORE OFFICERS TO BE DEPLOYED TO CHINATOWN FOR ENFORCEMENT BEFORE CNY

0

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has said that in the weekends leading up to CNY, there will be more enforcement and safe distancing officers needed in Chinatown.

The dates are inclusive of Jan 14 – Jan 16, Jan 21 – Jan 23 and also Jan 28 to Jan 31.

The crowd situation in Chinatown will be closely monitored by authorities and they will implement extra measures if warranted.

STB also said that they will be working with the Chinatown Business Association and also various government agencies to manage safe distancing measures by ensuring that business operators do not extend their operations out of their allocated space.

They also urge the public to be socially responsible so that everyone can go through the festivities and enjoy them safely.

STB added that the public should plan their visits and try to avoid peak periods, and also to be reminded to practice their safe management measures like mask wearing etc.

There is also a CNY online bazaar which is organised jointly by Shopee and Kreta Ayer Community Centre and the public can avoid crowds by buying products online instead.

EMPLOYER SACKED GUY BECAUSE SHE DID NOT LIKE HIS ‘ORIENTATION’

0

A guy shared a story from his working experience back in the days after he finished his National Service and started working.

It did not end well due to his employer finding problems with his ‘orientation’ and certain beliefs she had.

Here is the story

“Years ago when I have just finished my NS and also came out of the closet, I had landed a great first job as a software developer with a very small company. Nobody at work new about my orientation because I chose to keep it in my private life.

The office admin developed a crush on me, and I told her about my orientation and said that I have a boyfriend.

She thought that I was only kidding to reject her so she went on to tell everyone that I used the excuse that I am not straight to reject her.

Our boss was a woman with certain beliefs and that did not help me as she did not like people who were not straight and think that there is no other orientation than straight.

She then calls me into her office to tell me about the gossip going on in the office and that she cannot have someone of my orientation working in her company.

My colleagues were furious with her as we were a very close team and my termination blew up quickly.

I quietly said good bye, packed up my stuff and drove home to tell my boyfriend I was unemployed because of this reason.

I started a job that paid twice what I had been making.

After two months, my former boss calls me and asks if I would work on the software project “freelance”, and she offered my former rate, to which I said no.

I told her $50 an hour (which was like 5 times my salary). She said no. A week later she calls back and says “we really need you on this”.

I asked her “are you saying you can’t finish this without me?” “Yes” she replied.

I said “You should have thought of that before you fired me for being another orientation.”

Within a month, the whole software project was shut down.

I recommended my former teammates into my company and we managed to make much more and we all got promoted in the end.

On the other hand, my former boss was given the sack as what happened blew up until the CEO knew about it and she was reprimanded for bringing her personal beliefs into the corporate world and causing heavy losses to the company.”

COUPLE USE ‘TOOL’ TO SPICE THINGS, END UP GETTING STUCKED IN BODY

0

A guy shared how he and his girlfriend were bored of doing the usual stuff during their intimate activities and so decided to try a different approach while doing stuff.

They went to a shop to decide on what ‘tool’ to get and decided to get one which the girlfriend likes.

They then went home to try it out.

Here is the story

“Me and my girlfriend were getting bored of our usual routine so we decided to go to a shop to get a ‘tool’ to spice things up a little.

After deciding on what to get, we rushed home to try it out.

While we were getting it on, we took out the tool and used it except that it was not the right place.

After some experimentation, we managed to achieve our goal and she enjoyed it and asked me to continue.

Moments later she felt something wasn’t right so we stopped what we were doing and checked and now it was fully up there and starting to disappear deeper in.

It was stucked.

We panicked and I’m yelling “Push! Push! Push like you have to take a dump!”

She yelled back “I don’t wanna give birth from the wrong place in front of you!!”

She gave up after a while and asked me to try to pull it out.

The whole process is to messy and gross to share and after a few tries, it came out.

I guess from now on, we will use the ‘tools’ in the way it was rightfully intended.”

GUY SNEAKS INTO GF HOUSE FOR ‘NETFLIX SESSION’, GETS CAUGHT BY GF’S RELATIVE

0

A guy shared a story on how he was caught sneaking into his girlfriend’s house in the afternoon and was caught by her relative in bed with the girlfriend almost at the stage of “getting it on” while doing so.

To make things worst, the girlfriend’s mother also checked her phone and found out conversations between them that they were technically not allowed to have at that age.

The couple are both 17 and still schooling.

Here is the story

“I snuck into my girlfriend’s house because she said that she missed me and wanted to see me and no one would be at home till late night.

We made plans to Netflix and Chill before I headed over.

Her parents did not know about us and did not allow her to have a partner until she finished her studies, which is why we had to be secretive about our relationship.

10 minutes into the netflix and chill session, her uncle came back to take something and caught us on her bed and called her mother.

Her mother came home immediately and slammed the door furiously.

She took my girlfriend’s phone and saw messages of us texting about sneaking in and her using a pregnancy test and me bringing condoms.

I was scolded by her mother and asked to leave and to cut off contact with my girlfriend if not she will report me to the Police.

I miss my girlfriend and feel like I should apologise to her parents to try to make them like me and trust me but I don’t know where to begin.”

GIRL FACES PRESSURE TO CANCEL WEDDING FROM MOTHER IN LAW

0

A woman shared a story of how she is together with her boyfriend for almost four years and is going to become his wife soon.

However, her fiancé’s mother has been giving them problems right before the marriage by wanting a say in it.

She adds on that all in all, she has argued with her fiancé only three times in their four years together and every time it is his mother that caused them to start arguing.

Here is the story

“I need some advice, in less than a week I (25f) will be getting married to the sweetest most thoughtful person (29m). We’ve been together for four years and leading up to this day we’ve only ever had three big arguments, each time the cause of it is his mother.

The latest argument that we have is because of our upcoming wedding.

Now with covid and restrictions, weddings are a bit tricky. Up until the start of last week she has been complaining about how we should cancel the reception, and postpone it as it’s not safe. Not only that but she started writing out her will and cleaning her house as she’s expecting to die from it.

Come on man, restrictions are already eased so much by the government.

I stood by what was originally planned and said no because we would lose the whole deposit sum of the venue if we postponed it.

I thought as long as we’re taking all the precautions we should be okay.

She then turned me into the bad woman by saying i value money more than life.

My fiancé has been so supportive of me, defending me this whole time and overall just being there for me.f

He knows I feel beyond stressed about this and is trying his best to help me, but I feel so hurt and broken, part of me is starting to get cold feet and just wants to run away from it all.

I know when we’re not in this situation and she’s not around it’s the healthiest and happiest relationship.

I don’t know what to do, should I run away from this family?”
