EVIL MANAGER FORCE GUY TO WORK EVEN ON OFF DAYS

0

Extremely pissed off whenever I hear my bf complain about his manager. He works in telesales and his boss is a selfish and toxic woman who wouldn’t even allow her team to get off work on time.

The contract states 9am to 6pm but try leaving at 6pm? She will call you and immediately speak with a hostile tone asking you how much sales you hit the day and why you left early. He can make 300 calls a day and still be scolded when he leaves at 6pm.

They are not required to work on Sat, they can if they want to, but if he doesn’t turn up, his manager will call him AGAIN and ask him “then your sales target how to hit?!” I’ve heard her tone of speaking over the speaker so many times I have the urge to storm her office and slap her.

When my bf wanted to take leave for his vaccination cos there were only weekday slots left, the first thing she asked was “if you take leave then the sales how?” when he said “but vaccination lei” she replied “your sales numbers lei?” wtf?? I heard that his colleague wanted to take leave for her wedding but the manager didn’t allow too, the lady ended up resigning immediately. Whenever he wanted to take leave or mc, his manager will say something or scold him, not allowing him to take. Isn’t he entitled to his leave?

Once, he didn’t make calls for 1 hour because he was busy calculating stuff and noting down customer details for processing and his manager whatsapped the group chat to humiliate him and ask him what was he doing, even looped him and the higher-ups in an email thread to ask him what was he doing in that 1 hour.

Oh not just that, he even has to clock what time he goes to the toilet and what time he comes back.

What kind of toxic manager is this? I thought it was the company at first, but turns out only his manager is like this, other sales teams can leave on time and don’t have to head back on sat.

Imagine you having to rely on your team for your own livelihood but you treat them like dogs, what kind of human does this?

If I could expose her name and company I would send it to all the media outlets in Singapore, but sadly, I can’t because Idw to harm my bf.

Any HR persons or people well-versed in the employment practices know if such behaviour is considered illegal? I actually think there are many loopholes and grey areas so even if I report, MOM can’t do anything. I really wanna report her and get her fired.

Here are what employees think:

  • Every employee has rights to complain if any practices is not according to company policy. Working extra hrs or days doesnt mean u have extra sales. Time to find other job
  • Telesales are in demand, very difficult to hire. Pls ask him to resign, its easy to find other jobs
  • 1. Plan to resign

2. Get your bf team to all resign at once (without prior notice).. leave her hanging, alone and confused. (BLOCK HER)

3. Her superiors will begin to question and evaluate her.. and this will be the beginning of her downfall ( her reputation as well)

4. The longer she works there, the more she looks like a fool among the team leaders

Speaking from experience, and yes this is the best revenge. All the best..

GF CONFESS SHE SMOKE AFTER QUITTING, BF NOT HAPPY BOUT IT

0

So my GF smoked cigarettes before we dated and i was a big motivation for
her to end that.

I didn’t bring that up at any time, she decided that herself.

Today i called her to make sure she made it home safe and to say goodnight.

During the call she told me the following:

GF: Hey, i have to confess something to you.

Me: Yes, what is it?

GF: I smoked two cigarettes at my friend’s house.

Me: Okay, I thought you want to quit, you were on an almost 2-month streak?

GF: Yeah, I know. How do you think about that?

Me: I don’t know, you know i don’t like smoking cigarettes but you are free
to do whatever you want. You know that.

GF: Yes i know, are you mad?

Me: Why would i? I’m not particularly happy about it, but I’m not mad. Like i
said, you are free to do whatever you want to do.

GF: Okay, thank you, i love you.

What bothers me is the circumstances of why she did it. She smoked them because
“2 of her friends smoked too.”.

The thing is. I said it would not bother me. It still doesn’t, because i
hold true to my words. But I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel like she did
something bad, but i know she didn’t. Should i tell her my thoughts or let it
rest for good?

What netizens think about it:

  • I’ve been on the smoking side of this in a relationship. You have to be ready to quit, not just quitting because of someone else. If you’re not, it’s a losing battle. You can either accept them, smoking and all until they figure it out, or you won’t. I tried to quit for someone because they didn’t like it, and it was doomed to fail and then I had anxiety about letting them down, and they were upset because I broke a promise when it’s literally as addicting for me as caffeine was for them. If anything, support them for whatever they choose, but if you really can’t stand it, don’t lead them onto thinking you can hold out until they quit, because it’ll just foster resentment that neither side can control.
  • Yeah as a former smoker- your girlfriend is in the grips of a powerful addiction. Don’t underestimate what a hard fight she’s fighting against it. Quitting is not a linear path, and to be honest you can only quit when you REALLY want to with your whole heart. You behaved correctly in this interaction btw. Very admirable. I will recommend Alan Carr’s “The Easy way to quit smoking,” it’s an excellent book. But just recommending or giving it to her has is no guarantee she’ll read it or quit. That outcome deep in her heart.

FRIENDS HIDING SECRETS OF ANOTHER, ONE OF THEM MIGHT BE A CRIMINAL

0

I am a 22-year-old guy and I still have a large group of friends from my school that get together when everyone is free. The group is around half a dozen or so people with about even girl to guy ratio. Recently, I started to notice that one of our friends (we’ll call him “Hank” for anonymity) hadn’t been around for a while.

He has a blue-collar job so he is around town year-round. Our group gets together in some capacity multiple times a week during winter/summer breaks, so after a few weeks of not seeing him I began to ask, “where’s Hank?”.

The reaction I got was like silence and No one would respond. After some pestering, I finally got one of my friends to admit, “Hank did something really bad, I wouldn’t inquire further…I wish I didn’t know. You’ll never find out.”

Now, clearly, I am not going to hang out with him due to something potentially awful that he did. Maybe murder, rape, drugs, who knows, but I do know that based on my friend’s reactions when I mention Hank’s name in casual conversation, at least 4 people know what happened. With that information, I feel I can safely say that most of them that know were not directly affected by Hanks’s actions.

Why then am I not allowed to know what happened? Am I supposed to continue to act naive about the whole thing, even though something seriously wrong happened? Is it morally wrong of me to ask my friends to give up a secret, that probably shouldn’t even be a secret? How would you guys go about seeking out this information in a way that’s not morally ambiguous? Are my friends protecting him by remaining silent?

Thanks for the help

Here are what netizens think:

  • Have you tried googling his name, might have appeared in some newspaper before. If nothing pops up it’ll at least rule that out and you’ll know it was likely something more personal unless it was a crime that went unreported.
  • If so many people know and not telling you, whatever your thinking is probably true.
  • You’re probably just going to have to get enough of the story from Hank directly, to then get on the same page from others. Not a fun thing to do

PARANOID BF SCARE GF GETS SNATCHED AWAY FROM ONLINE GUY

0

My 23-year-old girlfriend and I have been dating almost a year now, very happy relationship. She stays with me most nights. Cooks, cleans voluntarily, happy to be around and from what i’ve put together, a decent past before knowing her.

She is in law school, and starts her next semester in the coming weeks. We did not go to the same university, or know each other until after undergrad. But her law-school is near where I work/live.

The other day, we were texting while I was in the office and she was at home. She said that “Someone offered (her) $5 worth of a crypto currency for a textbook I’m selling lol what the…”. After a few messages, I jokingly asked “who’s crypto boy?” and my girlfriend only responded with “I (girlfriend) posted it on the law-school exchange Facebook page”, before she changed the topic a few mins later.

She came over to my place later that night and the textbook situation got brought up in conversation. Only after asking a few different times, it came out that my girlfriend knew/knows this guy who originally offered her the crypto $ for the textbook.

She stated that this guy went to the same University as her (now same law school), and also used to date one of her good female friends that I know for a short-time years ago. My GF has made it seem like she barely knows him just cause of her friend that dated him years ago, but alarm bells in my head already went off cause idk why she made him seem like a random dude until I had to ask multiple questions.

They’ve talked through FB messenger and even though they have a tentative deal in place for textbook, this guy keeps dragging on conversation with my GF about how money will be transfered/dates, when it has appeared to already have been established. Idk why he keeps dragging it on, or why my GF keeps answering his messages. They don’t seem to follow each other on social media, but found his Instagram and noticed my GF liked one of his pictures from 2-3 years ago.

Basically, I don’t think that my GF has done anything and obviously nothing wrong with settling selling that textbook. Just wondering if I should pay attention going forward that their convos keep dragging on and she lied about not knowing him previously before FB page post. Thanks!

Here are what netizens think:

  • Tell her “At this point it seems like MY issue (insecurity) but I feel unconfutable with that correspondence that seems to be dragging out more than it SEEMS to need to and liking FB pics blah blah blah. I need some reassurance. “
  • It’s ok to be vulnerable.
  • Her reaction might tell you a lot. If she goes apeshit and resorts to labeling you controlling etc. …red flag.
  • If she’s understanding and offers to expedite the transaction you may have a keeper.

GIRL STALKS BF ON SOCIAL MEDIA & FOUND OUT HER WOMAN OUTSIDE

0

He broke my heart. A while back I noticed a woman posting off comments to my boyfriends Facebook account. My intuition is spot on, I have a gift. I soon found post on her Instagram that were truly unreal. She posted pics my boyfriend sent me of his daily actions.

And on then she posted, I love you! With his name as if they were in a relationship. I confronted him with copies of the pics and he completely denied everything. And asked who she was.

I remember him telling not to add her as a friend. I put two and two together. He completely denied the whole thing. I was so hurt. But I believed him.

Months later she posted something I just couldn’t understand and I asked her to stop. She asked who I was, why I don’t know? She knew who I was. I told her I was his girlfriend. Who are you, I said because you are sure as hell are not his girlfriend.

A month later he tagged her on account on a dead account. If which I knew of. I asked him again, what she was to him. He said he never met her, never talked to her like me and to ask his mom? Wth? I am not dumb, what would you do. I am a women in love.

When you did this you were selfish, when I could’ve gone in with my life earlier. This is a three year relationship. Lately, he has been very attentive loving and I know he knows what he has done was wrong. Why can’t he just own up admit it, so we can move on? I ask what would you do?

Here are what netizens said:

  • Let that boy go!! I promise you will find someone so much better for you, who treats you with kindness, loyalty, and RESPECT 100% of the time… Sounds to me like he is full of secrets and lies and heartbreak.. please stay strong and grow from this.. take peace in knowing that one day down the road, he’s gonna see you doing so much better and happy without him.. and that is when you will have your retribution.. Take care of yourself and I wish you the absolute best things in life!!
  • It isn’t normal to have to convince yourself your man is being faithful. That’s not part of a healthy relationship. It isn’t normal for your partner to ever put another woman (with exception to family in certain circumstances) ahead of you. It isn’t normal for other women to be posting pictures of your partner with phrases like “I love you”. And it REALLY isn’t normal to have your partner react to that by saying “don’t add her as a friend.”, while continuing to interact with her behind your back and tell you he doesn’t know her.
  • Let’s be honest would you really leave if he told you the truth! You know the truth already because your gut is telling you. Dump humans move on! Period.

GUY REVENGE ON CHEATING GF BY MIXING HIS POOP IN THE CAKE BATTER

0

A man shared his story of how he gave his girlfriend the ultimate revenge after catching her cheating.

Here is the story:

A week before my birthday, I met my friend in Bugis area to have a meal. We were bored so we took a long slow walk to Chijmes while talking about our school days.

When I walked into the courtyard area I saw my girlfriend there taking a selfie. I wanted to call her out but my friend stop me in time.

After she took her selfie she ran into the arms of a guy and his arms were around her and they continued walking around like a romantic date. I wanted to confront her but my friend suggest me to take some photos and videos but don’t make a scene in public.

My friend managed to hold me down and he brought me to a bar out of Chijmes to drink.

We sat down and he said that he has hatched the ultimate revenge plan for me.

The next day, my girlfriend asked what I wanted for my birthday and I said I want her to make me a chocolate cake.

One day before my birthday, she started to make the chocolate cake batter and when she was almost done, I text my friend to call her so she will be distracted and go into the room to pick up her phone, I already took a huge dump earlier in that day and kept it in a zip lock bag to seal in the flavour.

I pick a small portion of my poop and mixed it into the mixture, I further added vanilla essence to cover up the smell.

She did not notice as I knew she have no heart to bake this cake at all, she finished baking it and put it in the fridge.

The next day, the usual happy birthday song and we started slicing the cake. She said the birthday boy should eat first. but I said “I love you so much, its your hard work for making the cake, please have a big bite first please.”

After she had the cake, I asked her if it was delicious and she said “not bad at all”.

I then asked why she poop all over our relationship by cheating on me, she scream and denied and said that I was crazy. I then showed the photo to her face and she stuns in silence.

I said “Thanks for pooping on our relationship and hope you enjoy eating some poop, your luggage has been packed please get out now.”

She cried and left silently.

SNAKE SOAKED IN WINE FOR A YEAR REAWAKES AND BITES FARMER

0

Snake wine is not unfamiliar to many people. “Snake wine” is common in rural areas, mainly because it is said that snake wine is very useful to the human body, so many people have to catch a snake to make wine even if they take risks.

Recently, a man reported that a snake bite him after the snake was soaked in alcohol for a year.

Moreover, it is said in the countryside that the more poisonous the snake is, the better the wine will be, isn’t it? Strictly speaking, this is completely a folklore without any scientific basis. However, even without any scientific basis, this trend of “snake wine” is still difficult to eliminate.

In 2001, a villager in Guangxi captured a cobra to make wine, and opened the jar of snake wine a year later. Unexpectedly, the snake suddenly jumped out of the jar and took a bite, and died due to ineffective rescue

In 2009, Hubei residents bought a slightly poisonous red-chain snake and went home and soaked it in 50-degree spirits. He took a hard bite. Fortunately, the treatment was timely, so it did not have a big impact.

In 2013, a woman in Heilongjiang caught a “soil ball” snake alive and soaked it in a wine vat. Three months later, when the peasant woman was changing the wine, she was accidentally bitten, and she survived after being rescued. So these examples tell us that “snake wine” is really too dangerous. Let’s take a look at what’s going on.

EDWARD CHIA – WILD BOARS MAY HAVE ENTERED ESTATE VIA DAMAGED GATE

MP Edward Chia said in a Facebook update about the wild boar situation at Bukit Panjang that the animals may have entered the estate through a park gate that was damaged.

Here is his statement on Facebook

Wild Boar Situation Update

Concerned residents have WhatsApp me videos and pictures of wild boar sightings and understandably worried about safety, especially for our children and seniors. I’m equally concerned.

Earlier today, I met with NParks officers for a latest update on measures and check on the perimeter fence:

1)NParks operations are on going and officers have been on nightly stake outs for the past 3 weeks. My thanks to the officers. We note there’s one male boar left in our area.

2) Through CCTV footages, NParks has detected that the wild boars likely entered via the perimeter gate that park users used to enter Zhenghua Nature Park. As the gate was damaged and left opened, the boars entered. We discussed on new designs for the gates while noting that any designs need to be friendly for wheelchair users. NParks will expedite the installation of the new gates. I seek residents help to ensure the gates are closed and handle with care as previous gates were damaged.

3) We have also detected feeding in our estates specifically at Blk 465 and 466 which probably attracted the boars. I urge residents to stop feeding as it can attract not just boars but pigeons too. I’ve asked agencies to step up advisories and enforcements.

4) Lastly, when encountering a boar, please stay calm and slowly walk away.

We will step up measures. Please stay safe.
