The motorcyclist who was hit during a horrific accident at Tampines on 24 December, has been revealed to still be alive and recovering.

Here is the update:

“Hey guys. I’m sure most of you have seen or heard about the freak accident along Tampines ave 10 that happen about a week ago.

The motorcyclist that was the highlight of the video is my very close friend Mahmud Azmani Fikri. He was on his way to my place but unfortunately, he got into this horrible accident.

I am posting this to update that ALHAMDULLILAH he is ALIVE and recovering as I’ve read many speculations/assumptions that he did not make it.

I’m also asking all of you to have him in your prayers that ALLAH SWT gives him the strength and courage to recover and move on from this life-changing misfortune.

I would also want to remind everyone to constantly update your family and friends about your whereabouts especially if you are driving or riding.

Also, if you have the means, do get a smartwatch with fall detection so your loved ones will be notified whenever something happens.

Thank you for your time and happy new year everyone.”

WOMAN CAUGHT ON CCTV STEALING FRIEND’S CHANEL BAGS WHILE SHE’S SLEEPING

A netizen shared how her friend of 11 years stole her Chanel bags from her home while she was sleeping, after telling her that she’d never harm her.

Here is the story:

“Friend of 11 years stole my brand new Chanel bags from me twice (on 17th & 24th).

1st incident:

This girl claimed to be my bff & my kids’ godmom, came to my house on 16th to drink and stayed over at my place.

The very next day, while I was still sleeping, she took the chance to steal my first Chanel bag.

On the 24th, she told me that she’s sending my kids’ Christmas presents to my place. I wasn’t at home, and I trusted her so much.

Upon reaching my place, she went straight to the room(where I stored my bags) with a big white bag, from my helper’s statement, she locked herself in the room for from 12:42pm-12:45pm.

What was she doing in that last 3 minutes? I still cant figure out till today.

The night before she stole my first bag(16th Dec), she told me that she’ll never harm me or my kids even though she admitted to me that all the people that she met, she’s just using them to build up her empire.

I’m not the first victim. Although I know she has been scamming people’s money by telling them to do “investment” in her “companies”.

I never expected her to do that to me one day. She tried to ask me invest, but I rejected.

Worse of all – she stole my bags and sold it to second hand shop because she couldn’t get my money by using the “investment” method.

That’s not all. Stay tuned to the next post  on how she scam those victims. I still can’t believe she’ll ever do this to me.”

GIRL CAN’T FINISH HER FOOD, MOTHER TELL HER NEXT LIFE WILL HAVE NO FOOD TO EAT

0

A girl shared how she had gastric and can’t finish her food, and her mother then told her that she will have no food to eat in the next life.

Here is the story:

When you’re having serious gastric pain, all your mum cares about is your left over rice and telling you how sinful you’re that the sin will bring over to your next life that you will not have food to eat.

Then when 99% of the times she can’t finish her food she will push her food to people around her and claim that others are glutton and she is not! And that’s not all!

She will then continue her curse on others when they don’t finish the food for her!

*when you really had enough and want to tell her off, it becomes you’re super unfilial and lousy daughter again!

Editor’s note: My mother also tell me if I don’t finish my food, I will have many pimples on my face.

GIRL LISTEN TO FRIENDS AND BROKE UP WITH BF, FOREVER ALONE

0

A netizen wrote a respond to a cheating bf post.

Here is the story:

I am in the same situation. For context, i was in a rlnship and had a bto with my ex but we broke up. Reading your post, i don’t find you picky but more of looking for a husband material bf.

In my case, my deal breaker was the emotional immaturity (of course both parties have faults as well). I was willing to stay by him and slowly guide him through but He wasn’t willing to grow and bridge the gap, though i was. Even counselling cannot help. I spent countless nights in tears because i was so sad that we could have something great but it couldn’t work out, it ended up affecting my work, my friendships etc. And plenty of sacrifices because he was not earning as much and i wanted to ensure that we have a sustainable future tgt.

Until finally, under the encouragement of my friends, i took a step.

Since the breakup, i no longer have to endure such hurt or pain and am actually excelling in my work again (previously my boss was worried as it was obvious my performance went down). I am getting a condo too on my own, when previously, i had to worry about him as well (since split ownership). Bobian, have to make lemonade out of lemons.

Of course, like you, i worry about loneliness and being left on the shelf etc., but after this process, i realised, finding a correct partner is more important, regardless of age.

Just want to let you know, plenty bash you for being picky or not staying by a man etc.

Don’t let that get to you.

Being happy is the most important. My entire relationship looked like a fairytale on the surface but it was abusive emotionally and physically behind the scenes.

For all those commenting on how she shld just tolerate or lower standards, let’s be honest here. It is not a woman’s job to make her man feel like a man. She is not a lifelong nanny to look after a man and guide him to grow or be better in whatever aspect or heal. And even if she does, lets face it, not every guy is willing to take that step.

And yes, probably the good men are snapped up so we have to decide if we rather be alone and excel or deal with someone that potentially is a deadweight. I made my choice, jiayou!

P.s. We can always go SDN tgt and check out the market!

GIRL JEALOUS OF CO-WORKER WORKING FOR “FUN” BECAUSE FIANCE IS A MILLIONAIRE

0

A netizen shared how her colleague got engaged with a millionaire and is working for “fun”, while she works to survive.

Here is the story:

“I have a colleague, we sorta knew each other when we were in NUS, work quite well together. She’s quiet, gets things done. No complains about her one.

We get along quite well. Did not see her for close to a year due to Covid.

Went back office recently and found out she got engaged. I wanted to congratulate her and saw the ring. It is BIG, like confirm multiple 5 figures big. I was shocked…

I met her bf once or twice and he gave me the average/humble vibe. Driving a Toyota.

I kaypohed a bit and found out that her fiance is a self made millionaire and the only reason why she’s still working, not enjoying tai tai life, is because her fiance wants her to work to have her own money and gain experience from society.

Wah, if my future husband ask me to work when I don’t need to, I confirm make a lot of noise one.

Can’t help but feel damn salty. Life is damn unfair sometimes.

We work because we need to survive and she is working for fun? And why some people damn lucky…can just suka do business or invest and become millionaire, or find a millionaire to marry.

I know my view is unpopular la. But it’s my honest feelings and this is anonymous so……”

MOH DEBUNKS SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO ABOUT VACCINATION

0

The Ministry of Health published on Facebook that they are aware of a video that contains misinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccination exercise for children aged 5 to 11.

Here is what MOH said:

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is aware of a video circulating on social media which contains misinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccination exercise for children aged 5 to 11, including claims that the vaccine is experimental and unsafe for children, and that in the event of any severe adverse event (SAE) post-vaccination, it is “not the Government’s problem”.

The Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years old is not experimental. It has been approved by several regulatory authorities around the world, based on data collated through comprehensive international clinical trials.

During Phase 3 of the clinical trials, the vaccines were administered to over 2,000 children of the age band, with no serious vaccine-related adverse events observed. Since then, millions of children have received the vaccination, with a recorded incidence rate of about 1 in a million for myocarditis, which is one of the serious adverse events of greatest concern. Side effects such as fever, chills, fatigue and headache were reported less frequently and were milder in children aged 5 to 11 years than in adults and adolescents.

On the other hand, amongst children who are infected with COVID-19, while the great majority experience mild symptoms and recover well, a small number suffered from Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C), which is a serious and life-threatening condition. Vaccination for children will be very effective in preventing such adverse outcomes from COVID-19 infection.

These are some of the key considerations that led to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and the Expert Committee on COVID-19 Vaccination (EC19V), after reviewing international studies and clinical data, to conclude that the vaccine is safe and efficacious, and that the benefits of vaccination for children outweigh the risks.

In the unlikely event that a child experiences serious side effects that are assessed to be related to the vaccine, the child will be eligible for the Vaccine Injury Financial Assistance Programme (VIFAP), so long as they are Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or Long-Term Pass Holders.

The video also distorted the purpose of the vaccination consent form. The consent form is to obtain the informed consent of the parent/guardian for the child/ward to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, after having reviewed and considered the risks and benefits of the vaccination as outlined in the accompanying vaccination information sheet. This practice of obtaining informed consent is consistent with what is done for other medical procedures, including childhood vaccinations, such as Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Diphtheria, and Tetanus.

The video also falsely exaggerates the dangers and potential long-term side effects of COVID-19 vaccines for young children, and seeks to discourage parents from having their children vaccinated. This is a great disservice to our children, who need to be protected against COVID-19, especially with the impending emergence of an Omicron transmission wave.

We strongly encourage parents to have your children vaccinated if they are medically eligible, to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection and severe illness, and to keep your families and wider community safe. Remember, COVID-19 does not make you sign consent forms, does not inform you of the risk of infection, nor offer injury assistance. It will just infect and harm us. The fact that the Government is taking all these steps does not mean vaccines are therefore dangerous. They are good and correct policy and administrative practices.

It is up to us as a society to implement and support the right public health policies, and as individuals, to take care of ourselves and of one another, to keep our society and children as safe as possible.

MOH advises the public not to speculate and/or spread misinformation which may cause public alarm, and to refer to credible sources of information instead. Please visit www.moh.gov.sg for the latest information on COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccinations. For more information on the vaccination exercise for children aged 5 to 11, please visit https://www.moe.gov.sg/faqs-covid-19-infection.

GUY HAS A LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH PARENTS – THEY DON’T LISTEN TO HIM

0

A netizen shared how he has a love-hate relationship with his parents because they don’t listen to reason or facts.

Here is the story:

“I have a love hate relationship with my parents. I care about them a lot, just because they are my parents. But I can’t stand spending more than an hour with them, and I finally realised why it is so (after moving out and reflecting).

My dad will just keep talking to me about religion and race – which makes me mad because he won’t listen to any reason or facts.

And my mom will just whine to me about random things. If I give my opinion or reply, they don’t care and mostly just cut me off so they can continue talking.

Either that… or they pretend they don’t hear me. it’s not really a conversation. I’m like a sponge . It’s suffocating.

The only decent conversation i can have with them is over WhatsApp, where they don’t cut me off and actually reply to me.

Is anyone’s parents like this?”
