This morning heavy rain, around ICA towards Lavender MRT there is a flood due to some construction, They should take some action to prevent and solve it!
Due to the construction, they should not cover the walkway link to ICA from Crawford HDB flat’s, during rainy days people’s are stuck in the rain! I think the contractor need to look into it!
A TikTok user posted videos on her TikTok account, exposing another TikTok user for allegedly sexually harassing underaged girls on the platform.
She shared that he was previously jailed for having s*x with a 14-year-old girl, but has not learned his lesson and continued to target young girls.
She then posted a few screenshots of the comments that he would leave on the girl’s videos, as well as submissions from her viewers sharing their stories about him.
40-year-old Benjamin Glynn, a British national, was sentenced to 6 weeks imprisonment on 18 August 2021.
He was charged with:
Not wearing a mask inside the MRT on 7 May.
Causing a public nuisance on 7 May.
Threatening the police officers who went to his home on 8 and 9 May.
Not wearing a mask inside and outside the State Courts on 2 July.
His jail sentence was backdated to when he was initially remanded on 19 July.
The trial
The trial was interrupted by a woman who was apparently his supporter, insulting the judge and calling him a “kangaroo”.
She was later detained and questioned by the police.
Glynn was also repeatedly taunting the Deputy Public
Glynn defended himself during the trial without a lawyer, asking the court to free him so that he could return to his country and children.
He claimed to have faced mental duress during his remand.
Wanted to “box” the police
On the day that the police arrived at his home, he adopted a boxing stance and told them that he was going to “f**king drop you”.
The officers then used a baton on him.
Claims to have studied law, “there is no crime”
Glynn then said that he had apparently studied law and there was no crime committed.
He added:
“I am enlightened and awakened and very educated man and I know my rights and God-given rights that no person, be it legal fiction living man or woman, can interfere in and that is what I am standing up for my kids, so they do not have to cover their face.
If people want to wear it I am happy for them… I do not wish to breathe my own recycled carbon dioxide, I like to breathe oxygen.”
Unconvinced
District Judge Eddy Tham responded that Glynn was “completely misguided on such beliefs” and that his actions were a danger to public health.

A food delivery rider shared an unsavoury experience, one of many, that he encountered with a security guard at a condominium while delivering his food orders.
Here is the story:
“I would like to share on my experiences on Alexander residences condo. I’m a food panda rider, I was sending food to Alexander residences condo on 17/08 . The security and management treat food delivery like crap.
First of all they only give us 1 slot to park when making delivery to the condo, so they ask us to park outside when we park outside on the pavement or road side they said we can’t park there as if the pavement and road side is theirs , they ask us to park further away from the condo but when we park nearer to the condo on the roadside , they take a picture and report it to LTA .
On the 17/08 they really step over line, I was parking my bike in the lot provided by the condo . When I was parking the bike by reversing the back of my bike into the lot then security guy shouted at me and said I cannot do that and I must park the front of the bike in first .So I ask him why it’s doesn’t make a difference ? The security guy started verbally abusing and shouting even louder and threaten to clamp my bike .
So I didn’t want to argue with him so I just did what he said and make my delivery and quickly left .
This was not the first time he verbally abuse and shout at food delivery rider . There was a instance he shouted at a deliveroo and told him to fk off.
A police report will be made against him. I’m sharing this post to fellow riders to warn them about this security guard and if they can boycott this condo just boycott.”
My gf and I raised a dog together. We broke up and are no longer in contact and the dog has been living with me.
Initially, it was tough managing on my own but over time I have managed to adapt pretty well and all was good. I spent much of my free time and a large chunk of my salary every month spoiling the dog rotten.
Recently the dog developed severe health complications and I am feeling very overwhelmed. Given my work situation and as a single who lives alone, I feel I am not doing the dog justice and cannot provide the dog with the time and care she needs. I have thought about finding her a better home but the guilt just overwhelms me even though I know this will be better for both the dog and myself.
I am not willing to give her up to a rehoming centre or a kennel. I will only give her up if I can find her a better home, which is not easy.
