WILD BOAR WAITING FOR RESIDENT THROW FOOD FROM WINDOW TO FEED

A resident spotted a wild boar waiting for food down a HDB block. The person who posted the video said that it is happening almost every night.

He said:

My neighborhood.. sighting of wild boar and the best part.. Neighbours are throwing food foods from their windows to feed that pig.

It will be at the same spot and the pig will literally wait for the “food” to be “served” almost every night.I didn’t manage to capture on video that people are feeding it though

A netizen said:

Well people find it entertaining to feed animals especially wild ones. What they probably don’t know is this makes these wild animals accustomed to people and associates us with source of food. They become bolder and then tragedy strikes where someone gets injured. You can try to educate your neighbours or inform the authorities which might sour relations.

Penalties

While feeding this animal seem to be fun, Nparks do not take kindly to people who breached the Wildlife Act

  • first-time offenders caught $5,000 fine
  • repeat offenders $10,000

BAR OWNERS ALLEGEDLY PLANNED TO DRUG & GANG-RAPE GIRL

A netizen who was working in the bar industry in Singapore, shared some horror stories that she experienced while working and warned others not to join the industry.

She said that the industry is fked up and that in one of the incidents, she was allegedly targeted by the bar owners.

They had allegedly planned to drug and gang rape her to “teach that green hair Indian girl a lesson”.

It was allegedly because she “act smart” and “talk back”.

She shared that one of the alleged perpetrators was even someone she considered a friend and mentor and who always called her his little sister.

She revealed that she got lucky and managed to leave before they did anything.

She then added that if you think drinks are the only way you can be drugged, you are wrong; she said that they (presumably the bar owners) have done this before to non drinkers by using air fresheners, and sometimes even via touch.

Although power-assisted bikes are allowed on the road, they are encouraged to ride safely.

The number one guideline of Ebikes is to always ride as close as practicable to the left-hand edge of roads, and allow traffic to overtake you safely. Keep a straight course, do not weave through traffic and avoid sudden swerves.

An Ebike was spotted overtaking a vehicle and even getting in front of the vehicle when turning right.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT ‘LEG KINGS’ COMPILATION, ‘SMELL IT’

It has come to almost the end of the year, We compile a list of inconsiderate leg kings to share.

Every now and then we see inconsiderate people in the public putting up their legs on Public transports to relax.

Not sure if this was mentioned before, but We often see a lot of people (both young and old) place their feet on the opposite seats when it comes to those doubled decker buses with seats facing each other at the back, on the first level.

It’s really annoying for me commuters who take buses every day to go to work, and since many of us take long rides. There’s always someone who’s seated at one of the seats, putting his/her feet on the opposite seats.

If I’m lucky, sometimes they rest their bare feet with visible foot rot/fungus/f up things on it.

I always walk up and when they see me they put their feet down, but no way in hell am I gonna sit on their newly created plantar wart culture there…

Sure I admit I can go sit somewhere else, but it’s really inconsiderate and unhygienic for everyone else who uses the bus later on.

Not sure if anyone has any idea how to deal with stuff like this? I sure as hell won’t be bringing huge rolls of antiseptic tissues to clean the seats every day though.

Sometimes by looking at the photos of these people you can almost smell their foot.

Although in 2019, SMRT introduce a sign reminding people not to do these people are still doing it.

44-year-old Tan Wee Beng, a man who made it to FBI’s most wanted list was found guilty of falsifying paper works to conduct his business.

Tan Wee Beng is the managing director and a stakeholder of Wee Tiong (S) Pte Ltd, a commodity trading firm. He was sentenced to a $210,000 fine (plus seven months in jail). Another 13 identical counts were considered for sentence.

Wee Tiong (S) Pte Ltd supplied sugar and other products to two people from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) through their individual firms, with payments sent to Wee Tiong (S) Pte Ltd and its connected company, Morgan Marcos Pte Ltd.

FBI poster

Investigations revealed that Tan was contacted by two banks which asked him regarding deposits made to Wee Tiong (S) Pte Ltd and Morgan Marcos Pte Ltd. These deposits were made in exchange for products sold to DPRK citizens. Tan Wee Beng was afraid that if either bank discovered that Wee Tiong (S) Pte Ltd had transacted with firms associated with the DPRK, their connection with the businesses would be terminated.

In order to hide his illegal actions, he falsify the invoices

On these invoices, the identities of the end customers and the destination ports were altered to erase any ties to the DPRK. Tan Wee Beng then signed and submitted the fraudulent bills to the banks.
