COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN S’PORE EXTENDED TO 21 NOV

0

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a press conference yesterday that the current Covid-19 measures will be extended to 21 Novemeber.

This is because the healthcare system is running the risk of being overwhelmed, with 90% of the 1650 isolation beds being used.

Co chair of the multi ministry task force Lawrence Wong, said that S’pore has to continue with the stabilisation measures beyond 25 October, for another month.

Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung said that more ICU beds will be added if necessary, but “that will be at the expense of further degradation of normal service and normal medical care.”

Ong added: “The hospitals are no doubt bracing themselves for a sustained heavy patient load. MOH is doing whatever we can to support and bolster the hospitals. The workload on healthcare workers and hospitals is therefore very significant.”

The extension of the covid-19 measures will be reviewed again at the 2-week mark.

WOMAN LOST SAVINGS ON INVESTMENTS, END UP WORK AS KTV HOSTESS

A netizen shared a story about how she falsely believed that investments were a sure guaranteed way of making money.

She then invested all her savings on investments and ended up losing it all and had to work as a ktv hostess to earn her money back.

Here is the story:

“I saw many success stories about investments on Facebook and YouTube and whatnot, they were always saying how they managed to triple their income through investments and sh*t.

I wanted to try as well and I thought if I put all my money into the investments, like if I put in more I will get more right?

But fk was I wrong.

I lost all of my money on my investments and even borrowed money after that to tide me over.

I needed a quick way to earn my money back so I became a ktv hostess and drank with men, letting them touch me all over.

And for $300 I would spend the night with them.

Investments are not a guaranteed income, you need to do research…

Don’t be like me.”

Editor’s note: If investments sure earn money one, everyone rich liao loh
