A video which was uploaded by a Tiktoker has emerged on social media and it appears to be footage of a large amount of TOTO tickets placed neatly and nicely all over the floor.

A closer look into the video shows that the tickets that were placed neatly all over the floor are in the numbers of at least a few hundred to a thousand.

Furthermore, the tickets seems to have more than one line of numbers and assuming that the punter has bought the Ordinary Quick Pick bet which costs $1 per line and every ticket has two lines, the punter would have spent a total amount of close to $2,000 on the TOTO bets.

This is if the scenario is as per what we guessed where we have placed the cheapest possible scenario out.

Regardless of how much he bought, we wish him good luck and maybe thank you for contributing to the jackpot of the writers of SG Uncensored who also want to hit Group One tomorrow.

26 Y.O CHEATED $35,000 LUXURY WATCH FROM VICTIM, TO BE CHARGED

A 26 year old man was arrested by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for allegedly cheating his victim of a luxury watch worth $35,000.

He was also alleged to have tried to use his car to crash into a SPF officer who approached his car to engage him.

Police received report about cheating case

A report was made against the 26 year old man by his 28 year old victim claiming that the 26 year old had took off with the luxury watch price at around $35,000.

This was after they have met at Sengkang Square for a watch viewing and the 26 year old man decided not to purchase the watch.

He then allegedly returned a similar watch to the 28 year old man who realised that it is probably a counterfeit after returning home as the watch had a different serial number to the initial one.

Spotted at a carpark in Yishun Ring Road

SPF officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division, Police Operations Command Centre and Police Intelligence Department then started investigations and managed to discover the identity of the 26 year old man who was their primary suspect.

Officers then found the 26 year old man inside a car at a carpark at Yishun Ring Road on Wednesday around 3:15pm, and tried to engaged him by giving him instructions to come out of the car.

However, the 26 year old man allegedly ignored their instructions and attempted to hit one of them before fleeing the scene.

Luckily for the officer, he or she managed to react fast enough to prevent becoming a victim of a collision with the car.

Arrested later on the same day

The 26 year old man was then spotted again at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 after SPF officers conducted investigations and successfully arrested him.

He will also be investigated for alleged offences of committing a rash act and driving when he had already been banned from it.

He will be hauled up to court and faces charges of cheating and committing a rash act and driving under a ban.

If he is found guilty of cheating, he faces up to ten years imprisonment and a fine.

If he is found guilty of committing a rash act, he faces imprisonment of up to six months and/or a $2,500 fine.

If he is found guilty of driving while he is banned from doing so, he faces imprisonment of up to three years and/or fined up to $10,000.

A 47 year old man by the name of Koo Yong Bian was given 10 months of imprisonment today (10 Feb) for engaging in ‘intimate’ acts with an underaged girl who is still in Secondary school by offering money.

He had met her on an online dating site known as ‘Sugarbook’ and he pleaded guilty in court to a count of having commercial ‘short time’ with a minor under the age of 18.

Befriended victim

Koo, who was married at the time, made friends with the 15 year old girl on the Sugarbook site in December 2020.

The both of them communicated via Telegram as Koo had wanted to keep their relationship under wraps and did not want his wife to find out.

After chatting for a few days, Koo made her the offer of $300 for a ‘short time’ of three hours to which she consented to.

Koo then proceeded with the hotel reservations, booking a room at Hotel Boss along Jalan Sultan on 9 December 2020.

He met her at the lobby of the hotel on that very afternoon and went up to the room with her for their ‘short time’ without finding out her actual age.

He left after they were done with their ‘short time’.

Arrested on 14 April 2021

Koo was subsequently arrested for his actions on 14 April 2021 and it is not clear as to who reported him or provided the information and evidence leading to his arrest.

He mitigated his case through his defense lawyer stating that he had a long record of doing community work and if he was kept away from his wife for too long, it would impact her health physically and mentally.

Koo also mentioned that his wife was currently suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

He could have been given jail time of up to seven years or fined or both for his offence of having commercial ‘short time’ with a minor.

A 65 year old man by the name of Abraham Lim Chew Poh was given nine weeks of imprisonment today (10 Feb) for his role in using a chopper to threaten a Fishball noodle stall assistant as well as slapping the owner of a ban mian store.

This was after he pleaded his guilt to a charge of criminal intimidation as well as voluntarily causing hurt, and a third charge was also taken into consideration by the judge in the sentencing of Lim.

Pointed chopper at stall assistant

Lim had started to go to a food court at Block 183 Toa Payoh Central in 2019 where he had a crush on a 30 year old Vietnamese lady working as a stall assistant at a fishball noodle stall in the food court.

He addressed her affectionately as ‘Ah Mei’ which loosely translates to ‘little sister’.

He would keep going to the stall to support her and also buy her food even though she had told him not to do so.

He managed to fish for her number later on and began to text and call her many times and became upset after she started to ignore his calls.

On 10 Oct 2020 around 3pm, after he had a few beers too many at the food court, he went to purchase a chopper from a nearby shop and returned to the coffeeshop at about 7pm.

The chopper was the size of a 500ml hand sanitiser bottle according to court documents.

As he returned, he realised that his leftover beer has been cleared away and he angrily removed the chopper’s packaging and went over to the fishball noodle stall while pointing the chopper at the Vietnamese lady with one hand and shouting to her angrily ‘Ah Mei this is for you’.

After doing so, he fled the scene and threw away the chopper in embarrassment and was subsequently caught and let off with a conditional warning in December 2020.

Reoffended by punching owner of Ban Mian stall

Lim went back to the same food court on 14 February 2021, Valentines Day to consume alcohol from 6pm to about 9pm.

He was preparing to go home after having three bottles of beer but went up to the ban mian stall owner instead and said that he was ‘not a man’.

The owner ignored Lim and continued to consume his meal and Lim then grew angry and slapped him on the face.

The owner’s wife called the Police and it was discovered that Lim had held a grudge against the ban mian stall owner over the chopper incident previously as he had been a witness over the chopper incident.

Had previous convictions

The prosecutor in court asked for two months of imprisonment for Lim minimally as he had not kept to the terms of his conditional warning in just a period of two months.

He was also previously convicted of armed robbery and extortion several times from 1979 to 2013.

Lim could have faced a jail term of up to three years and/or fined up to $5,000 for his offence of voluntarily causing hurt and for his offence of criminal intimidation could have faced a jail term of up to two years and/or fined.

ERP RATES TO BE INCREASED BY $1 @ AYE & CTE FROM 14 FEB ONWARDS

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced earlier today (10 February) that the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates will be increased by $1 at a few locations along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and the Central Expressway (CTE).

The ERP gantries along the AYE after Jurong Town Hall heading towards the city will see their prices upped to $1 between 8am and 8.30am, and $2 from 8.30am to 9am.

The AYE gantry after North Buona Vista heading towards Tuas will see the prices upped to $1 from 6pm to 7pm.

The four gantries along the CTE after Braddell Road and the PIE slip road heading into CTE, will see the prices upped to $2 from 9.30am to 10am.

Two of the gantries on the CTE heading north after PIE will see the prices upped to $2 from 5.30pm to 6pm, $3 from 6.30pm to 7pm, and $1 from 7pm to 7.30pm.

LTA said that the increase in ERP is to manage the congestion on those areas, as they noted that traffic was building up at certain stretched of AYE and CTE.

MERCEDES CAUGHT FIRE ALONG NORTH CANAL ROAD, FIREFIGHTERS SPOTTED

A video has been circulating on Whatsapp showing a Mercedes motor vehicle parked at a taxi stand along North Canal Road just outside Champion City Hotel.

The Mercedes was seen to have caught fire and firefighters at the scene were seen working together pulling a fire hose from the fire truck to connect it to a fire hydrant before pulling it towards the Mercedes to put out the fire.

The vehicle, who was already covered with black smoke by the time the firefighters started putting out the fire was already in ruins.

It is unclear as to what happened or what caused the vehicle to catch fire or if there were any injuries or casualties caused by the fire.

The fire was eventually put out by the firefighters at the end of the video.

We have reached out to the authorities for clarifications on the case of the Mercedes catching fire, stay tuned as this story is still developing.

Kudos to the firefighters for responding swiftly to the emergency situation.

“FAMOUS” CATHOLIC FIGURE CHARGED FOR EXPLICIT ACTS WITH TEEN BOYS, OFFERED BAIL

A man described as being a “prominent” figure in the Catholic community and charged with offences against underaged boys and in remand for psychiatric evaluation, has been offered bail earlier today (10 February).

The man cannot be identified due to gag orders that prevent the identification of his name, designation and school he was linked to.

He was offered a bail of $15,000, with the prosecution being ready for a plea to be taken – the man’s defense lawyer said that he needed to advise his client first.

The man has also yet to indicate if he will be pleading guilty or not and the case has been adjourned to March.

Carnal intercourse

The man was charged earlier this year on 20 January with 2 counts of voluntarily having carnal intercourse against the order of nature with two underaged boys, as well as two more counts of committing indecent acts with the two victims.

The man allegedly engaged in fellatio with one of the boys, who was then aged between 14 and 16, sometime between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2006.

He then allegedly made the younger boy who was then aged between 14 and 15, do the same thing between April and December 2007.

He is also accused of committing an indecent act with the victims by performing an explicit act on them in 2005 and 2007.

TransitLink recently posted on Facebook that there is an ongoing email circulating around which pretends to be TransitLink and tell people that they have won a prize.

Here is what they said on Faceook:

It has come to our attention that an email impersonating TransitLink has been circulating. This email claims to be giving out rewards for a SimplyGo survey and contains an embedded phishing link.

PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS PRITAM SINGH TO BE PROBED FURTHER

PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS PRITAM SINGH TO BE PROBED FURTHER

Following a series of hearings that were held last December, the parliamentary committee has recommended that Pritam Singh, the Leader of the Opposition, to be referred to the Public Prosecutor for further investigations, according to a report released earlier today (10 February).

They have also recommended that former Workers’ Party (WP) MP Raeesah Khan be fined a total of $35,000 for telling lies in Parliament.

The Parliament’s Committee of Privileges said in their report that Mr Singh’s referral was to investigate if criminal proceedings can be instituted in relation to his conduct before the panel.

The Committee was chaired by Parliament Speaker Tan Chuan Jin, along with six PAP members and the WP’s Dennis Tan.

They have recommended that Raeesah Khan be fined $25,000 for the lie that she told in parliament on 3 August about accompanying an assault victim to a police station, alleging that the police made the victim cry with their handling of the matter.

They also recommended another fine of $10,000 for her repeating the lie on 4 October.

The committee also recommended that Faisal Manap, the vice-chair of the WP, to be referred to the Public Prosecutor for further investigations as well, for his refusal to answer questions that were deemed “relevant” and to see if they can institute criminal proceedings.

Pritam Singh responds

Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh has since released a statement on the COP report on his Facebook, saying:

“I have looked at the COP report and its recommendation to refer Faisal Manap and I for prosecution. I will speak more extensively on the COP report in Parliament when it is tabled for debate, expected to be sometime next week.

Assuming Parliament adopts the Committee’s recommendations, there remain a number of unknowns. These include the eventual decision of the Public Prosecutor to prosecute, the intervening time before the matter goes to trial, the eventual verdict and any sentence meted out, and the prospect of both Faisal and I losing our parliamentary seats and stepping down as Members of Parliament if either of us is fined $2000 or more.

Until there is some resolution to these matters which may take some time yet, Faisal and I will continue our work – including but not limited to MPS, estate walks, house visits and other parliamentary commitments – as per normal. The same goes for Team The Workers’ Party and its activities, including our outreach efforts in previously contested constituencies.

As always, Sylvia, Faisal and I are grateful to the public for their support of the Workers’ Party, and all three of us, like our party colleagues will continue to serve to the best of our abilities. Finally, we thank the public for your encouragement and support towards the efforts of The Workers’ Party in building a more democratic Singapore, one that all Singaporeans can be proud of.
