A 27-year-old man was sentenced to 5 months and a week in jail after he pleaded guilty in court for harming his girlfriend yesterday (July 8)

The man faced a total of 5 charges including 4 for voluntarily causing hurt and 1 other.

The man is possessive and controls his girlfriend’s every move. Whenever they disagree, they fought violently, he choked her neck, forced his girlfriend to eat washing powder, and bit her nipples.

The victim is a 25 years old woman from Indonesia, a gag order has been issued to protect the victim.

The first incident happened on December 2 2020, the defendant went to the victim’s mother’s home to spend the night together after celebrating the victim’s birthday. Unexpectedly, there was an argument and the victim asked the boyfriend to break up.

The defendant yelled at the victim and suddenly bit her nipple, causing the victim to cry in pain. The defendant was arrested by the police at 7:45 AM and he was subsequently released on bail.

On Feb 5, the man was unhappy that his girlfriend wanted to be a model and a violent dispute occur, the man started choking her neck.

At about 12PM on the same day, the victim told her boyfriend that she will be out with her friend doing manicures and they started to quarrel and fight again. He pressed the victim to the ground with his left hand. Seeing detergent powder scattered on the ground, he grabbed a handful and put it in her mouth.

The defendant tried to put washing powder into the victim’s mouth at least three times. She finally broke free and called the police with the help of a friend leading to his arrest.

A netizen shared a unique way of helping her boyfriend to quit smoking, by “smoking him” if you know what I mean. But she is seeking other ways rather than doing that all the time.

I’m looking for advice or even your own experience on your helping your loved ones to quit smoking. I have been wanting my boyfriend to quit smoking for so long but he keeps telling me is hard to do it.

He said that he is struggling and finds himself needing something to distract him. I jokingly said that I will “smoke” him if he needed it as a distraction but it was just a joke. What started out as a joke has become real, I have to do it for him twice a day and he keeps saying that if he doesn’t get the distraction he needs he will smoke again.

But I did check and found out that he did not smoke for over a week, but I can’t do this much longer my lips are starting to hurt and a bit sore. Should I continue to encourage him this way or should I stop here?

Sometimes getting stuck in traffic and urgently needing the toilet could cause someone to commit a rash act.

27-year-old Chad Tan Eng Hui who works as a limousine driver was stuck in Traffic at Orchard and he urgently needed the toilet to release, it is unsure he urgently needed to pee or almost S*** in his pants.

The incident happened on May 17, 2019, at around 6.30 PM in the area of Ion. Tan who urgently needed the toilet was trying to get out of traffic but another vehicle blocked his way.

Tan then step out of his vehicle and kicked the bumper of the vehicle which blocked him, he also shouted while doing so. He even punched the driver’s door demanded that the driver open his window.

The total repairs for the damaged cause SGD$7,074.84. In the end, the victim only went for a partial repair which cost only $550.

Tan has paid SGD$3,500 so far but he was slapped with a fine in court of SGD$4,500 yesterday (July 8)

He pleaded guilty to one count of mischief, with a second charge of intentionally causing alarm taken into consideration.

Lee Soh Geok is facing harassment after she repeatedly pours soapy water from into the neighbours home claiming that she was cleaning her neighbour Helen Lim Hai Loon’s roof.

Lee is facing 3 charges under the Protection from Harassment Act. In a span of 1.5 years between 29 Jan 2019 and 22 May 2020, the police received 12 reports of harassment.

The incident happened at Citylife condominium in Tampines, Lee who stays on the 2nd floor repeatedly pours water down to the roof extension of Lim’s unit who is staying at level 1.

Lee would even bounce her basketball for up to 45mins to disturbed the neighbour downstairs. This has happened on several occasions.

Lim managed to took several videos of Lee in the act, at one time it was even in the middle of the night(“yeah right…. cleaning…”)

The case has been adjourned to September, if Lee is found guilty of abusive behaviour she can be fined up to SGD$5,000
