M’SIA VICE GROUP ARRESTED WITH 10 THAI WOMEN FOR “ONLINE COURIER OF PROSTITUTES”

A prostitution group used social media to promote prostitution services. After finding the client, the “courier” transported the girl to the location designated by the client. 1 Malaysian man and 10 Thai women were arrested.

The police went to an apartment on Bukit Bintang Road in Kuala Lumpur and arrested a Thai woman and a local Chinese man who was acting as a courier.

The police subsequently arrested 9 more Thai women who were between 23 and 39 years old.

Investigation revealed that the woman promoted prostitution services through social media such as Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram.

“After the group finds clients through social media advertisements, the courier will transport the woman to the location designated by the client. A service charge of 200 ringgit, and the courier will receive 50 ringgit as the delivery fee.” said in the media release

The police also seized a total of 32 condoms and 13 mobile phones.

64 Y.O MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED MOLEST CASE AT TAMPINES

According to a Police Media Release, A 64-year-old man has been detained for allegedly molesting a woman in her 30s.

A 32-year-old lady was assaulted by an unknown man at 1 Tampines Walk on June 29, 2021, According to the police, Officers from the Bedok Police Division determined the man’s identification through follow-up investigations and the use of photos from the CCTV and he was caught on the same day.

The man will be prosecuted with the outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code. The offence has a maximum sentence of two years in jail, a fine and canning.

Crime Prevention Tips:

MAN SHOUTS AT KIDS IN PUBLIC THEN THROWS CIG BUTT INTO DRAIN

LORRY DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER HITTING MOTORCYCLE, VICTIM’S FOOT TWISTED @ TAMPINES

A small lorry, who was about to turn right into the parking lot of a nearby HDB estate, collided with another oncoming motorcycle. A 60-year-old motorcyclist was hit and thrown off his vehicle.

The incident happened at blk at 841 Tampines st 83 at about 12.35 PM yesterday(July 3).

The netizen who posted the video said that “casualty has been brought by ambulance and possibly to the nearest hospital CGH.”

Zaobao reported the incident and said that they have interviewed a person who is working nearby and the motorcyclist was injured in the head blood leaked from the helmet before flowing to the ground and the leg of the victim was “twisted”.

The Police is investigating.

To prevent the movements of some residents in Kuala Lumpur, a barbed wire was installed to “control the movement”. However, it has since suffer backlashed by many netizens.

Images of security personnel installing barbed wires along stairwells to high-rise public housing buildings in the city ahead of the government’s enhanced movement control order (EMCO) sparked outrage and concern on social media yesterday night, with Malaysians accusing them of posing a fire danger.

Barbed wires have been installed at the stairwells of several low-cost flats in the city, which have been placed under tighter lockdown.

Kampung Baru Air Panas PPR in Kuala Lumpur was one of the sites seen with barbed wire on the stairs, according to national news agency Bernama.

 Fire and Rescue Department director-general Datuk Seri Mohammad Hamdan Wahid said: “The barbed wire is now only set up at the ground floor after the final exit.

“There are no longer any obstructions to the fire escape route,”
