Hi, My (F20) boyfriend (M20) keeps calling me fat, fatty, piggy en another thing like that. I’ve told him serveral times I don’t like that he calls me like that.

Even tho I am not really fat, yes I have some fat, but not like obese and I’m no model either. But just healthy you know?

He has like this perfect 6 pack body, doesn’t matter what or how much he eats. He just doest get fat at all. And that is annoying for me.

What can I do to make him stop? It’s just not fun anymore and he keeps telling me it’s just a joke. But it’s making me really doubt myself.

And yes, I’ve told him that.

Edit:I realise now that he is bullying me and I should no longer accept his behavior. We have been together for 2 years and I love him for a lot of things, I will bring it to the table one more time next week after his finals. We all know what I should do if he denies and keeps going. And I will. Thanks for all the love and support

The shirtless mookata with an apron was originally popular in Thailand where hunks with perfect bodies were seen servicing their female customers.

A Singapore restaurant with a similar concept was opened in Bugis and it has attracted much of unnecessary attention

Police Call

The Police were called into the premises by a member of the public after they were mistaken as exhibitionists.  Shin Min Daily News reported.

The Police were alerted stating that a “half-naked man” was spotted in the vicinity.

It’s funny that when you’re doing it in the name of the business you are no longer an exhibitionist what a society. Oh well.

The 4 muscular men were hired to serve during specified hours of the day and many said that it is a marketing success.

It is unclear if any action is taken against the restaurant.

Sometimes in life, we think with our “little birdy” and a man shared how he got scammed after he went online to look for pleasures

Here is the story:

I got a match with this girl named Xiao Yu on Facebook dating. She says she provides special services for $130 for two hours.

We agree to meet on 2 Dec 2021 for two hours at Aljunied MRT station. When I reached, her “manager” call me and said I need to pay a protection fee of $200 via AXS machine of razer gold and another $4600 of insurance fee of razer gold. I was being stupid so I paid, after I exceed my card limit, this ah long told me to buy $1000 worth of iTunes cards. After I brought it, I told him I don’t want the service at more and I want my money back.

Then his “boss” called me and said the money would be refunded after I paid his two runners $4000. I went to the bank and withdraw only $4000 and used it to buy as many razer gold cards as I can get my hands on. After I brought the gift cards and send to them via WhatsApp. The “boss” call me and said i need to give another $4000 again because it is two runners that is $4000 each. Not $4000 for both.

I realized it was a scam and reported it to the police asap after they threatened to hurt my family by coming down to my block and sending me videos of illegal activities.

I blocked all their numbers and every number they used to harass me.

Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung said in parliament earlier today (10 January) that there is a huge difference in the number of deaths between those who are vaccinated and those who are not.

He emphasized on the importance of vaccinations and booster shots and said: “In countries where Omicron has spread, the unvaccinated and under-vaccinated are still most prone to falling severely ill when infected.”

Ong was asked for a breakdown in the number of deaths and he said:

“There were 802 such deaths in 2021, of whom 555 were not fully vaccinated.

Although the unvaccinated is a small proportion of our population, they contributed to 70 per cent of the deaths in 2021.

The remaining 247 were vaccinated with a range of locally-available vaccines.”

There were 79 deaths per 100,000 people who were not fully vaccinated, 11 deaths per 100,000 for those vaccinated with Sinovac, 7.8 deaths per 100,000 for those vaccinated with Sinopharm, 6.2 deaths per 100,000 for those vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech, and 1 death per 100,000 for those vaccinated with Moderna.

Ong emphasized that the sample size doesn’t take into account other factors such as age or timing or vaccination and that the sample size is small (247 persons),

Ong further added that around 132,000 people above 18 remain unvaccinated, with about 300 being ineligible medically.

He highlighted that it was quite an achievement to have successfully vaccinated over 90% of every age group, especially the seniors.

He also updated parliament on the booster vaccine, describing it as gathering pace with about 46% of the population having been jabbed.

A victim shared his/her unfortunate experience after responding to job offerings from Telegram.

We are censoring the phone number as it might belong to a real person, scammers often spoof the phone numbers of a real phone.

Sometimes the number is reflected from legit numbers but there is always a +65, it’s sometimes best to call and verify if you receive weird messages from known associates. Especially when it’s about money.

This kind of scam is to target greedy people, they let you taste a bit of the “sugar” showing on their platform that you have made a certain amount of money.

The Police have warned the public time and time again about such scams. Always be careful.

This was the message. They are promoting their SPONSORS who are doing blog, video etc in SOCIAL media. Then they added me to a WhatsApp group.

Started working too. Got a small amount of money too. Then they would give you bigger tasks to give more money.


The task was to repurchase a product from Amazon. I cannot complete the task. So i lost money.

Singaporean activist Gilbert Goh shared an encounter with a homeless man working as a cleaner, who earns about $1k per month and is sleeping in the streets.

Here is the story:

“Met up with this 65-year-old homeless man during our outreach last weekend.

It is the first time we saw him – initially mistaken for another man we helped out previously sleeping at around the same spot.

He is chatty and friendly so we stayed on to listen to his story.

He has been sleeping rough for the past 4 to 5 years after a tiff with his flatmate of a shared government subsidised housing who is unemployed.

There is mention of unpaid rent and utilities from his jobless co-owner and after a long struggle, he left the place – choosing personal freedom and privacy over a secured shelter torn by strife.

As for himself, he works as a cleaner earning over $1000 monthly and as he is nearing his CPF withdrawal age, he is hoping that the extra $280 monthly CPF money will come in handy for his personal expenditure.

We told him about the recent HDB scheme whereby people like him can apply for government-subsidized housing without the need to get a co-owner upon application as an NGO will help him find a suitable tenant.

He retorted that staying together with a stranger can be difficult however suitable it may look on paper – his past experiences living with someone in the same house who is a total stranger has deterred him from getting his feet wet again with subsidized housing.

“Even living with your own siblings or family members can be an issue, what about a complete total stranger?” he repeated.

He mentions the HDB’s assertion that two persons living together can fend for one another and it can also foster moral support when one is down is a fallacy as in reality there are more inherent problems with co-existing than meets the eyes.

We have been supporting rough sleepers for the past three years and more than half have a house of their own but they chose to live outside whereby freedom and privacy are preferred over a feisty roof which can sometimes be leaking with conflict and hostility.

As we left him with a new jacket and a pack of K94 masks, we realized that many rough sleepers we met with have a strong sense of privacy and personal freedom. He kept to himself most of the time and didn’t even have a word with a fellow rough sleeper lying less than ten meters from him.

Do something good for Singapore – a charity movement to alleviate our displaced elderly Singaporeans.”

“I’m tired.

Why is it that I see smiles on people’s faces when I walk on the streets but I can never see mine in the mirror? I can’t say that I come from a broken family because my parents are still married and we all live together.

I can’t say that we are a happy family either because all we do is raise our voices at one another when our views don’t align.

There is not one day where bickering cease in my house and I’m just so tired of it. I’m so tired of coming home from work and all my parents are doing, is bickering. I’m so tired of my dad belittling my mom for everything she does and I’m so tired of my mom for letting my dad continue his ways and not once defended for herself.

Sometimes I’d wish for a car accident, or any other accident, just so that I don’t have to go home and face all the unhappy things.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s better for them to be separated, am I the a-hole for thinking about it this way? I just want everyone to be happy with one another, to accept all flaws and be patient with one another.

Why is it so hard? I’m so angry at myself for being influenced by my father as I’ve started being annoyed over the small little things. I feel so upset, or even guilty, every night for what happens in the day and no one knows that I cry myself to sleep most of the time.

Growing old alone and dying alone is never what I wanted. But no matter who I am with, I will always find ways to push the person away in fear that I’d be hurt in the relationship. I’ve been with girls (i’m also a girl) and the result is the same, I push all of them away with my actions and words.

Right now, there is a guy that is obviously interested in me but I can’t stop thinking that he would be the same as my dad. I’m actually scared of being with a guy. I’m not saying that all guys are the same but you never know, right?

I’m sure my dad is all caring and sweet at the start of the relationship too. I’m just so tired everyday and sometimes I don’t even know how I got the strength to get through the day.

“I really don’t understand people who wear band tees and don’t even know the band. Recently met up with a group of people whom I’ve never met before. There was an awkward silence between me and another girl. I noticed she was wearing a Nirvana tee, so to break the ice I told her I liked the shirt and what’s her favourite Nirvana song. She told me “it’s just a shirt” and she doesn’t really know the band. There was even more awkward silence after that.

Personally I feel that if you want to wear a band tee, at least know who the band is and maybe a couple of songs. I’m not saying you’ve to be a full blown fan of the band, but at least know who’s on your shirt. I feel like it’s abit disrespectful to fans to just wear the shirt and not know anything about it. The trend of wearing 80s and 90s rock band tees is back and I see lots of people rocking it. It sometimes irks me to see my beloved bands becoming casual fashion icons when theres so much history, emotion and meaning behind it.

I know a lot of you are gonna attack me and call me a purist. I know everyone’s entitled to wear whatever they want. This is just my view, to me wearing band tees sends a message that someone loves the band enough to represent it. It can be a keepsake and reminder from a concert. Its also a way for people with similar musical interests to spot each other, and be an easy conversation starter.  Just my two cents.”
