An ex-convict shared a story about how he managed to find his better half after years of trying.
He said that he first met a pretty lady and admitted to her that he was an ex convict who was previously jailed 10 years for rape.
He had apparently given up on finding the right woman so he just projected an overwhelmingly negative image of himself for fun.
However, the girl thanked him for his honesty.
He then revealed that he lied to her that he was a part time delivery rider, when he was holding a professional full time job.
And when they started dating, he had to lie to her about how he could afford certain things with his delivery salary.
They then rented a room where she paid the rental in full because she thought he didn’t earn much.
Her parents also objected to them being together because they said: “Once a criminal, always a criminal”.
Years passed and they soon got married.
He then wanted to buy a car and a 5 room flat but he knew that it would raise questions, so he just admitted to her.
She then cried because he had lied to her for so long, but also because she was happy that he was a clean man who could give her a decent life.

“A true story. I encourage those guys finding their better half not to give up.
I met a very nice pretty lady during the time I was doing paid delivery part time. I held a professional full time job as well.
Even before meeting her, on the app I told her that I was a criminal who went to prison for 10 years rape. I asked her if she was comfortable if I were to be delivering to her appartment. I did this because I had given up on finding the right woman. So I might as well project a negative image of myself for fun right?
Things took a turn. She was the only one who thanked me for my honesty. The others requested that I should not even be dealing where female customers are or that they do not want me there. I also received a number of nasty comments from some women. For the first time I had full experience of what ex convicts experience.
Eventually the lady who thanked me and I started dating. I had to live my lie. When we started living together, I would go out of home to work as a storeman only to collect my office clothes at a self-storeage facility, shower in the gym toilet and change into office attire. The whole process was tedious. After work it was drycleaning of my clothes at self service laundry and to the self storeage and then back home. For her my long hours at work were okay as she thought my job was demanding. In fact 4 of the 12 hours I was supposed to be working were spent in the cover up process.
We dated on weekends and she did not even ask how I was able to afford some items with my salary. She did not even ask why I did not have to work weekends and public holidays.
We rented a room to stay with her paying all of the rent since she thought I did not earn much. Her parents objected to us being together. They told her “Once a criminal forever a criminal”.
Some years passed after we got married. I had enough to by a 5 room HDB flat. I wanted to buy one but I knew it would raise questions as to how I can afford to pay for it fully. I wanted to buy a car but it would also raise questions. So I had no choice. I had to admit to her the truth.
She cried for two reasons. Firstly because I cheated her for so long. Secondly she was happy I was a clean man who could give her a decent life.”

The delivery rider who was seen flexing his muscles and dancing for the camera while delivering food to the customer, made the headlines recently for his scintillating performance.
It has now been revealed that he was tipped $30 by the customer for his exceptional dance moves.
The customer, Syazwi Halip, 33-years-old, then uploaded the video clip of the delivery man dancing in front of his door.
As it turns out, the delivery man actually knows the customer as they served their NS together.
A video emerged online showing a couple of girls illegally vaping at what appears to be a toilet.
One of the girls was seen blowing the smoke into the other girl’s mouth, who then breathed it in and blew out the smoke.
Under section 16(2A) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act (TCASA), it is illegal to possess, purchase and use vaporisers in Singapore as of 1 February 2018.
Persons found guilty of this offence can be fined up to $2,000.
Patrick Ong Choon Hua, 52-years-old, pleaded guilty on 24 June to one count of performing a rash act and was sentenced to 2 weeks jail.
He had intentionally pointed a laser beam from a laser pointer at other motorists on the expressway because he wanted them to give way to his car.
Another charge was taken into consideration during sentencing.
What happened?
on 2 September 2020, Ong was driving behind the victim on the KPE towards MCE at around 5pm.
He flashed his car’s high beam and turned on the hazard light to signal to the victim, Mr Lim, to change lanes because he felt the victim was driving too slow.
Lim was unable to change lanes because there were other vehicles to his left at the time.
Ong then took out a laser pointer and shone it at Lim’s rear view mirror.
The victim felt irritation in his eyes and couldn’t focus on the road ahead briefly.
