A woman who caused a scene during the court trial of Benjamin Glynn earlier this morning (18 August) has been detained.
She reportedly didn’t wear her mask and was order by the judge to leave the court.
She then refused to comply with the orders and shouted “kangaroo court”; and she also added that she was a “living woman” who had “no contract” with the police.
She told the police, who were attempting to escort her out of the courtroom, to not touch her; as she shouted: “I do not respect the judge!”
The woman, after being escorted out of the courtroom, said that wearing a mask was unnecessary.
She was then told that she was not allowed to enter the court, to which she then questioned the officers: “Why can’t I go back inside? Is he (the judge) afraid I’ll call him a kangaroo again?”
She tried to leave about 15 minutes later but was stopped and detained by the officers.
She remarked that she was a Singaporean, telling them her IC number.
The woman was reportedly detained and held in a holding room in the State Courts for questioning.
