On May 14, a man aged 37 allegedly broke into a clinic around Lorong 1 Toa Payoh to steal 4 bottles of cough syrup amounting to SGD 232.80
The police conducted investigations and identified the culprit. The culprit was then arrested on May 15.
On May 17, the culprit was charged in court for housebreaking and theft, which carries an imprisonment term of up to 10 years and a fine.

A nurse who shared her ordeal that his family has been undergoing constant harassment since May 2020, where his neighbour had mocked, hurled vulgarities, spraying disinfecting solution and cursing at his family every time they come back to their home.
The nurse was called kanina, virus, dirty family and virus family and was sprayed with Dettol by his neighbour since last year and the harassment has never stopped even after several police reports.
This is the latest in a series of harassing abd abusive acts he and his family have had to endure.

A netizen shared her story about a bus glass door shattering while the bus was stationary at a traffic light near Bedok Reservoir Road.
The netizen claimed on May 10 at around 5 pm, her cousin was on SBS Transit bus service 69 when the incident happened.
“My cousin was seated near the side door when the glass broke.” she said
“Thankfully, she wasn’t injured but she experienced irritation in her eyes caused by the broken particles. It was a traumatising experience for her.” she added

On Thursday (May 13), A Woman found an insect on her plate just before she finished her food.
She went to Sanook Kitchen at Suntec City for dinner and ordered kang kong with rice.
“I ordered kang kong with rice. When I was about to finish my food, I saw an insect on my plate.” she said
“I asked the staff and they said that the insect could have come from the kang kong.” she added
A refund was given to the woman, but she had already lost her appetite. “I still had food left over but I couldn’t eat much anymore.” she said
