DESPERATE GUY MAKES TISSUE ROSE IN BAR AND GIVES IT TO WAITRESS, THROWN AWAY

A guy who is lost and does not know how to find a girlfriend tries all methods to impress the girl of his dreams.

Here is the story:

I have a friend who is desperate to get a girlfriend and tries to impress a waitress in a bar in town by performing something which he thinks will get some attention from the waitress.

He asked the waitress for a piece of tissue and started folding it into a rose and gave it to the waitress. The waitress crushed it immediately and threw it into the bin.

My friend who was already drinking was already intoxicated started to cry loudly as if someone had died. He started to make a scene and I had no choice but to pull him out of the bar and he told me “Im awake now, i can go home”.

I did not had enough to drink so I went to another nearby bar to drink, I assumed he went home and ordered another jug of beer to drink. He suddenly appeared and joined me, after he calm down he tried doing the same method to another waitress by folding the “tissue rose”.

The moment I see him doing that I paid the bill and left him there as I do not want to be embarrassed by his behavior.

Moments later, another police car pulled up with a police officer sprinting to the scene as the fight escalated and became more violent.

Photos emerged online showing a man lying down on the MRT cabin floor beside what is presumably his PMD.

He could be seen lying down comfortably on the ground and watching movies on his phone.

Looks quite shiok, maybe I should try also.

KHAW BOON WAN: “I AM OUT OF MY DEPTH, BUT I KNOW MY PURPOSE”

The new chairman of Singapore Press Holding’s not-for-profit media entity SPH Media Trust, Khaw Boon Wan, spoke during a press conference on 12 May.

He said that he is out of his depth in terms of journalism but intends to add value however he can.

Khaw said: “I don’t know how to be a journalist, I am not a journalist, I am out of my depth here.”

He added: “How can I interfere with the news room if I don’t know what I’m talking here?”

Khaw also touched on SPH subscription fees and staff cuts, saying:

“If your objective is just to chase eyeballs, then the easiest is [to] make it free. But does mak[ing] it free serve the objective […] [of] quality journalism, quality contents?”

“Are you sure they’re reading it? Or they just read one line and throw it away?”

“This paid model forces us to make sure [we] are a lot more analytical, [with] deeper analysis and, more importantly, original insights, which I can’t get from the competition.”

“So, instead of talking about staff cuts and retrenchments, it is just the opposite.”

“So pass the word around — if you have good writers out there who left us last year or recently, and they are good team workers, bring them back. I’ll find money to pay them, so that we can enhance the newsroom.”

TWO UNCLE PEEPED INTO OTHER PEOPLE’S HOUSE AND TOOK PHOTO

Source: Instagram @sgfollowsall

A netizen shared his story on social media about 2 men looking into his house for extended periods of time.

One of the guys even took photos of the house with his phone. The netizen claims that he does not know why are they doing so.

He feels worried as his mother and two sisters are living with him too, and feels that it is not safe for them to leave their home.

Here is his story:

“Hello Sgfollowsall, I would like to share an incident that happened at my house today. There were these 2 man that were constantly looking into my house today. I do not understand their intention or purpose. One even went to the extend of taking a picture of my house.

Maybe my house nice they want to see, but I have 2 sisters at home and my mother. It’s not safe for my sisters to go to school/work when there’s these 2 strangers standing outside my home and peeping in. A bit like peeping Tom?

I wonder if it’s legal to do that? Like stand outside and keep staring in. It’s a little uncomfortable to see that.

I would greatly appreciate if you can share my ordeal with the public for me to understand the legal interest surrounding the public and such “volunteered” viewing.”
