He was seen showing the car’s “self driving” technology as he described it in detail.
The camera then pans in front showing a tow truck, turns out the car is actually being towed.

FB LIVE SELLERS WHO ALLEGEDLY SOLD FAKE GOODS, NOW LIVE-SELLING FROM PARIS
Following the police raid at a FB Live seller’s premises for allegedly selling fake goods, the sellers took to Facebook to confirm that they were indeed raided.
They explained that they were investigated for doing “lucky draws” without informing the authorities.
The police released a statement saying that 3 men were arrested for their suspected involvement in the online selling of counterfeit goods.
The shops involved were purportedly Beyond Luxury Collection (BLC) and Prestige Luxury Collection (PLC).
However, PLC then posted a video on their Facebook showing 2 of their sellers at Changi Airport, promising that they are “still here”.
They said that they are “travelling out” and in “15 hours time, you all will find out”.
They then posted a video showing themselves in Paris, and that they are looing for a new way to sell online.
Their new gimmick involves heading to the boutiques and essentially helping people in Singapore to buy the goods.

ADULT FARES FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO INCREASE BY 3 TO 4 CENTS
The Public Transport Council (PTC) said on 3 November that bus and train fares will be increased by 2.2 percent from 26 December onwards.
This is after the PTC’s annual fare revision exercise.
It essentially means that adult fares will be increased by about 3 to 4 cents; while fares for senior citizens, students, the disabled and lower-wage workers will see a 1 cent increase in their concession fares.
However, the prices for cash fares, travel passes, single trip tickets and concessions (monthly) will not change.
The fares for rides up to 14.2km will increase by 3 cents. PTC added that it recognises the “difficult economic circumstances” of the people due to the pandemic, the decision was made due to the sharp drop in peopole riding public transport.
Richard Magnus, the chairman of PTC, said:
“We seek commuters’ understanding that it is not possible to keep deferring fare increases as they are needed to support the rising operating costs, such as energy and wages, for our public transport system, lower fare revenue with higher operational costs cannot continue indefinitely.”
Ridership levels dropped by 30% and 40% for both buses and trains in the year 2020, but operators have continued to run both transports at pre-pandemic frequencies.
PTC shared that they incurred a few million dollars in operating costs, including disinfecting the premises and deploying of staff.
They (SMRT and SBS) also revealed that without government support, they would have suffered significant losses last year.
The 2.2% fare increase was brought over from the 4.4% increase from 2020 after fares were frozen for 2020.

YPS GATHER TO “PO” THEIR GANG SIGNS TO INTIMIDATE OUTSIDERS

They were seen flashing gang signs inside what appears to be a classroom.
First-time offenders who breach safe distancing measures are fined $300.
For non-compliance with safe management measures under the COVID-19 offenders may be jailed for up to six months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
If they are caught by the Police for not wearing a mask or not wearing a mask properly they can be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.
Penalties include a fine of up to SGD$10,000 and jailed for up to six months.
UNCLES ALLEGEDLY HANTAM BUS DRIVER WHO ASKED THEM TO WEAR MASK PROPERLY
A 61-year-old and 70-year-old man were both arrested after allegedly attacking a bus driver who told them to wear their masks properly inside the bus.
The police said in a statement that the duo were inside the bus at Loyang Avenue at about 1030am on 2 November.
They got agitated when told by the driver to wear their masks properly.
The identities of the two were established by officers from Bedok Police Division and they were subsequently arrested on the same day.
They are also being investigated for breaching SMMs.
Separately, a video also emerged online on the @sgnewsdaily Instagram page, showing a bus driver being attacked; although it has not been confirmed that it is the actual footage of the attack.

MAID DRUGGED BABY WITH “ANAREX” TO MAKE HIM SLEEP SO SHE CAN REST
A 32-year-old Indonesian maid was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment on 2 November after pleading guilty to one count of causing hurt by means of a stupefying substance.
She had laced a baby’s (whom she was caring for) milk bottle with Anarex, a medicine for flu, fever and pain that is known to cause drowsiness.
She wanted to make him sleep longer so that she could rest.
What happened?
The incident happened on 5 December 2020, at about 8.30pm.
The maid, who had been working for the family for about 14 months, felt tired looing after the baby.
She was instructed to feed the 13-month-old baby with milk, to which she then went into the kitchen to get the milk bottle already containing about 100ml of milk.
She then went into her room to retrieve an Anarex tablet and put it inside the milk bottle, feeding it to the baby.
The baby consumed about 90ml of the contents before falling asleep after 20 minutes.
She then put the baby back into his crib and went into the kitchen to wash the bottle.
The cousin of the baby saw some blue and white stuff inside the bottle and told the baby’s mother about it.
The mother then went to take a look and saw the tablet at the bottom of the bottle, she then confronted the maid, who lied that she didn’t know as she was afraid.
The mother then tasted the pill and confronted the maid again, who then admitted to her actions and apologised.
The mother then informed the police and the baby was checked at a hospital the following day.
His vital signs appeared to be stable.
Wanted to rest
The maid said that she wanted the baby to sleep so that she could rest.
She also added that she knew what she did was wrong, and she asked for forgiveness as well as a lighter sentence.
She highlighted that her father is dying in Indonesia, her husband left her and her mother was infected with Covid and is in critical condition.
She added that she is the sole breadwinner and it has been hard for her ever since her remand.

YP LIED ABOUT HAVING COVID AS “PRANK”, NS TRAINING IN TEKONG HALTED
Siew Hanlong, 19-years-old, reportedly played a prank on his friends by lying that he had been infected with the “new Covid-19 variant” by posting onto his Instagram.
He said that he was going to die.
He pleaded guilty yesterday (2 November) to 2 counts of knowingly transmitting a false message under the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act.
He was a student at the time of the prank.
What happened?
On 23 May earlier this year, he decided to prank his friends at about 1am and went to look for an image of a positive PCR test online, saving it onto his phone.
He then posted it on his Instagram stories.
He captioned his post: “Guys I got the new Covid variant bye I’m gonna die.”
He then posted another picture of himself in a hospital bed (which was from a previous hospitalisation for an incident that was not related), captioning it: “In ICU right now farewell guys”.
He was at home at the time was actually not infected with the virus.
15 minutes after the posts went online, he deleted the photos but they had already been seen his his followers.
An acquaitance of his, a full time NSF who was at Pulau Tekong, noticed his friends discussing Siew’s Instagram post on their group chat on Whatsapp.
He became concerned as he met him before 23 May, and was worried that he had contracted the virus.
He tried to get in touch with Siew but couldn’t, thus he then reported to his superiors that he was a close contact of a Covid case, sending them the Instagram stories that Siew had posted.
The NSF was then instructed to pack up, undergo a swab test and sent home; where he was isolated in his room.
His bunk was also disinfected and the military training schedule for the day was interrupted.
He was then told by Siew that it was all a joke, and the NSF then told his father and army trainers about it.
A police report was subsequently made.
Sorry for the prank
The judge said that although it was a prank, the resulting consequences that arose from his actions were very serious.
Siew said that he was sorry and wouldn’t do it again.
The boy’s mother then appealed to the judge to consider her son’s “bright future” and reiterated that he was very remorseful.
She said that he is still studying for a diploma.
The case has been adjourned to December and the judge called for a probation suitability report before sentencing.

I’m writing this to warn people stay out of insurance business which many young people fall into in recent years.
I’m from a single parent family migrated from neighbour country looking for a better future, my mum passed away when i’m 3. And then, me and my dad been renting houses till now for 20+ years due to all sort of finance straint and wrong decision made over the years which still in big debt now…
Me & my dad are both PR which few year back i converted to singaporean after serving NS, so the story all started from after serving NS, one of my poly closed friend invited me over to one of the big insurance company and i joined without any hestitation due to young mindset i guess, and then nightmare begin….
Does’nt have any family here, no connection to any upper class, not much friends due to always working part time since young to cover the cost of living and the rental. Definetely not good looking, why in the earth when they told me i can success in this career and i belived it?
i tried so hard to hustle warm/cold contact around me until i realized one important thing after joining this career for 2 years. Nobody or very seldom people will get or trust anything i said from a poor dude that always left in their impression since young. Every single colleagues joined this business closed their family within a year with big cases to success and posted in group chat to boast about it.

30 Y.O MAN ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED STRANGER WITH PEN KNIFE, ARRESTED
A 30-year-old man was arrested by the police on 2 November after allegedly attacking a man with a knife.
The incident happened on 2 November in the evening, he allegedly attacked a 26-year-old stranger with a pen knife at Block 89, Bedok North Street 4.
The victim suffered cuts to the back of his nec.
Bedok Police Division’s police officers established his identity through ground enquiries and the alleged perpetrator was nabbed within an hour of the police report being made.
The alleged weapon used was retrieved from a dustbin.
The man is due to be charged in court today (3 November).
