M’SIAN PM MUHYIDDIN HOSPITALISED BECAUSE HE LAOSAI

Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin was warded in hospital earlier this week because he laosai for about 2 days.

He is in the hospital being monitored and treated, with the Malaysian cabinet meeting even being postponed.

As of yesterday, he is reportedly stable and improving and will be allowed to work whilst being treated.

He will remain hospitalised for antibiotic treatment for the time being.

CAR FLIES OVER BARRICADE AT ADAM FLYOVER, FLYOVER INDEED

A netizen uploaded a photo of a vehicle stranded after getting stuck on top of a barricade located at Adam Flyover towards PIE.

Photo of accident:

The doors of the vehicle could be seen opened and multiple people could be spotted on their mobile phones probably waiting for help.

How to prevent accidents:

According to Singapore Road Safety Council

  • Always keep in mind the existence of road hazards
  • Be prepared to take evasive action, as road users may not obey the law at all times
  • Avoid a collision and make allowances for other road users to correct their mistakes
  • Be on the lookout for traffic signs and pedestrian actions that may cause traffic hazards
  • Minimize the chances of an accident from mechanical failure by the habit of proper vehicle control and maintenance

ERRANT CYCLIST REFUSE TO USE CYCLING LANE, TAILGATE TIPPER TRUCK INSTEAD

A video emerged online showing an errant cyclist refusing to use the cycling lane on the road.

He was seen cycling dangerously close to a tipper truck instead, tailgating the large vehicle.

According to Section 7, Paragraph 6 of the Road Traffic (Bicycle) Rules in the Road Traffic Act under Chapter 276, Section 140:

“When a bicycle lane is provided on part of a road, no bicycle, power‑assisted bicycle, trishaw or tricycle shall be used on any other part of the roadway.”

MOM WILL INVESTIGATE COMPANIES THAT FIRE STAFF FOR REFUSING VACCINATION

According to Senior Minister of State for Health and Manpower Koh Poh Koon, he said that The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will investigate employees who are fired or threaten to do so if they refuse to have the vaccination.

Although the Covid-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged, it is not made compulsory. Companies may have policies that allowed them to ask for the vaccination status of the employee if the line of work or environment post a high risk.

Companies may include vaccination as part of their recruitment policies for new hires, But the company should not be fired or threatened by any existing staff for refusing to take their vaccination nor revealing their vaccination status.

NTUC assistant secretary-general Desmond Choo said on Facebook: “Both employers and employees must maintain constant and transparent communications so that we can build the necessary resilience at workplaces. We have a social responsibility in keeping each other safe.”

A couple of photos emerged online showing a group of YPs gathering in a group of 9.

They were seen without their masks on and posing for a photo outside the lift lobby.

They were flashing gang signs presumably to terrorize the other gangs to assert dominance.

YP VAPING & FLASHING GANG SIGN BECAUSE HE WANT TO BE GANG HEADMAN

A video emerged online showing a YP vaping at what appears to be his home.

He then flashed a gang sign for the cameras presumably in a bid to show his allegiance to the gang.

Under section 16(2A) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act (TCASA), it is illegal to possess, purchase and use vaporisers in Singapore as of 1 February 2018.

Persons found guilty of this offence can be fined up to $2,000.

A netizen took to Twitter to bash National Service and make fun of NSFs still serving.

GUY REPORTS POLICE AFTER FOODPANDA LOST HIS GROCERIES AND REFUSE REFUND

A man who ordered groceries on FoodPanda was upset after $50 worth of groceries went missing and it was reflected that the items were delivered.

Initially, the man seeks help from FoodPanda support but to no avail.

The support claims that the rider placed the groceries on a white table in the man’s home but his house does not even have a white table.

The chat with the support ended even without finishing the conversation, feels like it is a script to handle customers or it could be just a bot.

In his Facebook post he said:

So irresponsible! Kepala hotak we gave wrong address…entah mana2 unit ko rembat and gone wth the groceries!Police report done!Your rider took the groceries and we don’t know where he/she dump them”

YP LEPAK AND VAPING INSIDE BUS AS THOUGH HIS AH GONG OWN THE BUS

A video emerged online showing a guy sitting with his leg perched on top of another seat inside a bus.

He was then seen vaping while inside the bus, in a brazen attempt to challenge the law.

CYCLIST PARK BICYCLE OUTSIDE FLAT ON WINDOW LEDGE

A photo emerged online showing a bicycle being parked outside an apartment.

The bicycle could be seen being parked dangerously on the window ledge without any restraints on it.
