OLD CHANG KEE IS SELLING NASI LEMAK CURRY PUFFS! HAVE YOU TRIED IT YET?

From nasi lemak burger, nasi lemak lobster and all the way to nasi lemak condoms, is this the latest creation we did not ask for?

Dubbed the Nasi Lemak Chicken ‘O, Old Chang Kee have decided to combine Singapore’s favourite midnight and snack into a bite sized puff that you can carry anywhere with you. The puffs contain chicken chunks mixed with sweet and savoury sambal, mixed with onions, anchovies (ikan bilis) and a slice of hard boiled egg, it sounds as if the puffs can barely contain all those ingredient.

The puffs itself is coloured green, to complement the look of banana leaves of actual nasi lemak. However, do not be fooled that it has any coconut fragrant. It does not.

Old Chang Kee is selling it for a price of $2 for 1, $3.50 for 2. Will you be trying this out?

NEA USING YOUNG ADULTS TO SUMMON UNSUSPECTING VIOLATORS! TAKE NOTE!

Those who are always smoking under void decks, please be aware of the people around you. Otherwise, you might get a surprise tap on the shoulder.

A video surfacing online shows a couple of NEA officers who could easily pass off as teenagers giving a guy a ticket for smoking under shelter. We are not supporting his actions as we feel if you get caught doing the crime, you have to man up and take it.

So for all you smokers out there, just a quick reminder, do not smoke under sheltered areas.

Mar 2018: Handy Commute Guide FOR SHORTER OPERATION HOURS ALONG EAST-WEST LINE!

There will be shorter operating hours along all 35 East-West Lines (EWL) Stations (Pasir Ris to Tuas Link, Tanah Merah to Changi Airport) every weekend in March 2018, Friday to Sunday. During the week-long school holiday, the entire EWL will also close earlier at 10.30pm (instead of the usual 11pm early closure timing) on 12 March, Monday and 14 March, Wednesday.

There will be no full day closures in March. Shuttle bus services will be provided along the affected stations, and there will be two cross-line shuttle services to connect you between EWL and Downtown Line (DTL). The shorter operating hours will allow multiple teams to carry out maintenance and rail renewal works concurrently, and help speed up the implementation of the new signalling system on the EWL by June 2018.

Sengkang and Punggol LRT (SPLRT) will also begin service later at 7am on Sundays. Check out this handy guide to help you plan your journeys! Tip: The timing of the first and last departing train may vary from station to station. So don’t forget to check the respective timings before travelling!

RUDE RIDER CURSE DRIVER FOR NOT WAITING!

Book again lor why so vulgar?! I took advance booking reach 15min early, reach booking time sms told me wait 5min. Waited 12min still see no shadow and went to see the lift also not moving, so i go lor. Soon enough Co. called me said pax go airport should have waited or risk compensation . I wasted almost 1/2hr never collect a single cent who will compensate me?

Any customers here please hor… spread the words and be respectful to drivers waiting. It’s not TD cannot wait, it’s cannot take chances to wait and end up cancelled or no show. Most of TD kenna at least once with prank booking/not cancelled booking. This is waste time and heart pain to wait for nothing and then watch street hails nearby. Here I want to curse those MF who didn’t cancel booking after getting another ride or prank booking to burn in hell and run over by Lamborghini or Ferrari and drag the body 500m

SIGNALLING SYSTEM FAULT CAUSING DELAYS ON THE DOWNTOWN LINE ON 1 MARCH 2018!

[LTA – SBS Transit Joint Statement]

Train services on the Downtown Line (DTL) were affected by a signalling system fault at Bayfront station at 6.01am this morning (1 Mar 2018). As a result, trains approaching Bayfront station in both directions had to be driven manually and at a lower speed.

By 7.30am, the signalling fault was isolated to the stretch from Promenade to Bayfront stations in the direction of Expo. However, due to train bunching, there were additional journey times of 15 minutes to half an hour from Bukit Panjang station.

Currently, trains are still travelling at lower speeds from Promenade to Bayfront stations, with additional travel times of up to 15 minutes over that stretch. Free boarding of regular bus
services is available at designated bus stops between Bugis and Chinatown stations.

The signalling system supplier Siemens is working closely with our engineering teams to restore normalcy at the affected stretch as soon as possible.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to commuters
