PLEASE SHARE! LADY NEEDS HELP FOR RAISING EMERGENCY FUNDS AS HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE!

0

Salam & Hello To All Facebook Friends. My name is Nur, 20 years old and working in retail industry as a part timer. Please excuse me if this gets too personal because I’m posting this concern as an individual.

Last 27 Jan 2018, My Home was on Fire. All Valuables Belongings including hard days savings, Clothes also Household, were burnt to crisps. Fire is Caused by Candles used to light around house due to no electricity. Sadly Home wasnt covered in Insurance as expired 2016.

*Though i posted this before, my account was hacked that i cant access to people who had reached out.*

I’m raising Emergency Funds for urgent use and home electrician wiring costs. MP had already reached out to me by cdc emergency funds and had settled a total of 1.9K outstanding electricity bills.

My Dad has MIA-ed to Batam, Riau Indonesia. When told home was on fire, He told me to not CALL him anymore and just TEXT. UPDATE him once settled. but nothing happened. Now, Calls & Messages is ignored/blocked.
( I’ve been staying with Dad since his divorce)

*This is not for charities/organisations.

*Funds Transfer can be made to
Posb Savings 403-47236-0 .

Please Share this post around for me thank you. I hope you can help me. May God Blesses.

NETIZEN FEEL THAT EVERY SG GIRL SHOULD DATE AN ANGMO GUY FOR THE EXPERIENCE! WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS?

I always believed every Singaporean girl should date an AngMo, it would be something worth remembering and will be the hallmark of your dating journey. And besides, most, if not all Sg girls secretly want to date angmo guy, whether they deny it or not.
It would be better to try dating a Caucasian man at least once in your life, if you get a Chinese boyfriend and later get to work in an MNC full of white guys, like I did, you may just start to regret not dating one before. So don’t hold back your desires ladies 😉

ELECTRICIAN DEMAND $950 FROM OLD MAN FOR FIXING CIRCUIT BOARD

It isn’t typical of me to write such a long and draining message, I just felt compelled to share so that you can too, share with your aged parents who might be alone at home sometimes.

My dad’s house water heater wasn’t in working condition. Being considerate, my 78-year-old dad doesn’t want to impose on us on the 4th day of CNY so he took the initiative to flip the Chinese paper’s classified ads and got an electrician to come down.

The electrician arrived shortly with a worker and proceeded almost immediately to change the circuit breakers which were not even the source of the problem. He cited the reason that it looks burnt and it might cause a fire if not changed. No testing was done to ensure if the water heater was back in working condition, and he charged my dad a whooping $950 for his services. My dad’s heart skipped a beat and told him he said he couldn’t afford, and wouldn’t change if he knew it was that much. My dad refused to pay and asked him to put back the old circuit breakers. He immediately lowered the price to $500, which my dad still refused. My dad proposed $250 and they eventually settled for $280. Dad asked for receipt which he refused to give at first. (We always reminded our dad to obtain receipt for every purchases or transaction)

Eventually after some pestering, he wrote my dad a payment voucher with the wrong date. Nothing was done to troubleshoot the water heater problem which was the reason why he was summoned over in the first place and he unnecessarily replaced the circuit breakers. The water heater was still not working properly. Feeling short-changed, my dad noted down his vehicle number when he left. My dad has high blood pressure and did a heart surgery. He was quite aggravated when he was caught in such a situation and felt the pinch that he has to overpay just to have it settled. Poor dad has to pay the conman using red packet money we just gave him.

My dad had no choice but to call me, and I arranged for the trusted electrician I always engage. That was when my dad related the whole story to me, and we consulted the electrician and he commented $280 is overcharging. $950 is definitely daylight robbery.

The water heater wasn’t working as part of the wiring connection was loose, we didn’t even have to change a new one. The job was done with just $50 in 15 minutes.

We did some research and there were complaints made online. He even has a website that states 90 days warranty. We are not even sure if he is a licensed electrician.

Here’s the best part. I called the electrician (who leaves no name card or proper receipt after his job) on CNY Day 6. I asked him about his trip to my dad’s place and he denied saying he did not receive any calls during pass few days of CNY. I quoted his vehicle number and told him he probably did not realized there are 2 IP Cam installed in my dad’s place, and the recordings with conversations can be used against him in a police report. We eventually made him refund $100 back to us.

The next thing I did was to email to SPH Classified ads about the incident and suggested some discretions to be made before accepting his ads in the future.

DEGREE HOLDER IN SG BEEN JOBLESS FOR 4 YEARS AND RESORT TO $8/HR JOB!

“I know someone who has been jobless for 4 years and as a result resorts to a $8/hr manual job.

As someone who has a full time career, I feel bad for my friend. I have seen him try really hard, lowering his standard month after month.

So please….stop saying that he is not trying hard enough. Many times, we assume the jobless are simply not putting in enough effort or their standards are too high.

Is that always the case?

No one can deny that there are people who get jobs without even trying. We as humans, for centuries are taught that all results are brought about by hard work.

Is that really??

Do you really thing you can beat all circumstances? People dont seem to understand how many things can go wrong.

Lets you wanna meet you friends for dinner. Do you know how many things can go wrong?
1. Last min stay back OT
2. Traffic jam
3. All places are full
4. Traffic accident
5. Unexpected family
problems
Etc
I know it sounds funny to some of you but seriously…we are all guilty of taking the little “lucks” for granted.

So…stop accusing others of lack of effort or being too demanding just because they could achieve what (seemingly) “little things” that you achieved. Maybe it really is down to luck. Maybe there is something bigger waiting for him/her/you.”

DRIVER DECIDED TO CHANGE HIS MIND LAST MIN TO LEFT TURN NEARLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT! (VIDEO)

0

Like that also can??

If u know u made the wrong turn but last min want to go straight just proceed and turn. I’m sure there will be a U-turn or right turn at the junction ahead after the left turn. Singapore is so small where u wont need to take 500m to make a u-turn or whatsoever. 🤦‍♂️

TURN OFF BY INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE WHO PUT THEIR LEGS ON EMPTY SEAT? DON’T BE ONE OF THEM!

Cinema goers should be more considerate when going for a movie. Even though there isn’t any sitting in front of you, you shouldn’t be putting your legs on the other seat as if it is a leg rest right? What about the next movie goer who decided to take that seat and rest his neck on it. Wouldn’t he or she would have rested where you place your feet?

NETIZEN IS PISSED OFF TO HAVE AN ENCOUNTER OF RACISM IN SINGAPORE!

0

I Am So Done.
So i am a freelance bbq chef, i go around Singapore cooking bbq food at different condos and places. But the thing that happened yesterday should never happen again.

Singapore is a multi-racial society. OR IS IT?
I honestly dont know why people with fairer skin always look down on people with darker skin. We are all equal, as per our pledge that we took for every morning in the 10 years of compulsory education. For those Who DONT KNOW THE PLEDGE,

This is it :
We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity
and progress for our nation.

Regardless of race, language or religion but yet you people discriminate the darker skinned people.
So here’s the thing, i went to this condo to cook for a CNY Get-together While i was cooking yesterday..
This group of people were talking in Chinese about the food, they said ” Look at the curry cooking so carefully and slowly without burning the food to his colour!”

Well, i picked up some spoken Chinese during my secondary school as majority of my friends were Chinese. The MOMENT I HEARD THAT I WAS SO ANGSTY. I didn’t want to make a scene. So i just kept quiet and continues cooking.
The organisers also had also invited their Indian neighbours to the party(How nice of them)
So that 13yr old Indian girl and her brother, were looking on as i cooked and Waited for the satay.
But then that same guy went on again, ” Look at the 2 curry waiting for satay, the curries not burned enough so all gather at the fire to burn”

SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL. First of all you don’t call a person by the food they eat? So What do i call that Chinese dude? Dumpling? Wanton Soup? Or Bak KuTeh?

And another thing I Seriously hate so much is That The Fact that, Its Ok For Chinese people to Play Chinese Songs in any event, but when an Indian plays the song they start mocking it by shaking their head left and right or act like they running around A FUDGING COCONUT TREE. WHAT THE HELL. Bollywood and Kollywood HAS ALREADY SURPASSED That Era.
Then, Chinese and Malay People Naturally expect Indians to know mandarin and Malay.
HONESTLY? I THINK THATS STUPID? Cause we IN SINGAPORE?

WHY DON’T YOU LEARN TAMIL FOR A CHANGE? DON’T say oh Tamil so hard. Cause Mandarin is Also HARD AND PEOPLE TAKE THE EFFORT TO PICK IT UP. EITHER TAKE THE EFFORT TO CHANGE OR SHUT UP AND STOP BEING RACIST.

Really la Stop all this nonsense.

Seriously, People This is something That has always been on Going In Singapore. Darker skinned people Have FACED Discrimination all over the world. In a country like Singapore Developing and Improving Rapidly I think Shiidiots like this Bring It down.
Singapore will never truly develop unless it leaves behind all this racist people.

Share it so that this stops in Singapore, Share It So That Every Fair Skinned People Stops All their Crap.
And if you’re that fair skinned person that aren’t racist, You Deserve a medal of honour.

If you were affected by racism, do add your stories in the comments to raise awareness too!

#STOPRacismSG

Actually he was making very nasty comment about a certain race calling them “no shame” and “working dog”

A letter was supposedly sent to his company to inform him of his “misbehavior”

This is what he wrote when the post went viral.
