2 GRENADES AND 314 AMMUNITION FOUND AT SENG KANG CENTRAL

According to a media release, 2 grenades and 314 small arms ammunition was found by construction workers at a construction site located at 10 Seng Kang Central on the 9 March 2020.

The weapons were disposed of by Singapore Armed Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, according to a resident in the area they heard an explosion sound on the 10 March at around 1 am and again on the next day at around 1 am as well.

The construction site is currently building a new resident unit, Sengkang Grand Residences condominium

A police spokesman said:

“The Singapore Armed Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal team successfully disposed of them onsite on Wednesday (Mar 11) at about 1am,”

INFECTION IN DENMARK SPIKE 10 TIMES, CURRENTLY AT 514

After the recent Spike of infected patients in Denmark, the authorities have announced that all schools and universities will close.

Employees that are part of the non-critical sector will be sent home to avoid further spread of the coronavirus. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that all events with more than 100 people should be cancelled.

Daycare facilities will also be closed. Denmark is taking huge actions to stop as many social activities as possible.

Although, there will be huge consequences for doing so, having more infected could be much worse.

FUSIONOPOLIS’ GALAXIS BUILDING SHUT OFF AFTER ORACLE EMPLOYEE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID

The IT giant firm Oracle revealed that an employee in their Singapore Office has a staff tested positive for the coronavirus.

The employee works at level 12 of the building located at 1 Fusionopolis Place. Near to One North MRT.

According to a tenant letter send out from CapitaLand, the management team is intensifying cleaning and disinfecting the common areas of the buildings.

CAT’S TAIL ALLEGEDLY CUT OFF AT ANG MO KIO AVENUE 1

According to a Facebook post that was published in Cats and kittens for adoption in Singapore. A community cat had her tail cut off.

The feeders in the Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 gathered to find the cat after the tail was discovered.

According to the Facebook post, the tails was discovered at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 near Sheng Siong Market.

The cat was finally found by a resident and handed over to SPCA for treatment.

SPCA is currently, investigating in this incident.

4 REPUBLIC SINGAPORE AIRFORCE SERVICEMAN INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS

Back on 15 Feb, a regular serviceman from Republic of Singapore Air Force was found infected with the coronavirus.

On 10 and 11 March, a few more cases were announced that included a few air force serviceman.

  • 40 year-old male Singapore Citizen
  • been in France from 15 February to 7 March.
  • He is a contact of Cases 165, 173 and 175, and is one of the imported cases who had been in France on official duty.
  • symptoms on 9 March and presented at the emergency department of KTPH on 10 March.
  • confirmed COVID-19 infection on 10 March afternoon.
  • he had gone to the Health Promotion Board
  • He is a Republic of Singapore Air Force serviceman
  • He stays at Yishun Street 81.

  • 31-year-old male Singapore Citizen
  • been in France from 15 February to 7 March.
  • confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 March morning, and is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID.

Case 175

  • imported case of a 44 year-old male Singapore Citizen
  • been in France from 15 February to 7 March.
  • confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 March morning,
  • He is a Republic of Singapore Air Force serviceman
  • contact of Cases 165, 169 and 173.
  • He is one of the imported cases who had been in France on official duty. He had not gone to work since returning to Singapore.

NURSE INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS, WORKS AT NG TENG FONG HOSPITAL

Case 167

35-year-old female Filipino national who is a Singapore Work Pass holder and is a family member of Case 178. She had been in the Philippines from 11 February to 17 February. She is currently warded in an isolation room at NTFGH.

She reported onset of symptoms on 8 March and had sought treatment at NTFGH on 9 March. Subsequent test results confirmed COVID-19 infection on 10 March afternoon.

She is employed as a staff nurse at NTFGH and had been at work prior to hospital admission. She stays at Jurong East Street 21.

Case 178

Imported case involving a 37-year-old male Filipino national who is a Singapore Work Pass holder.

He had been in the Philippines from 11 February to 19 February, and again from 23 February to 2 March to visit a relative with pneumonia who has since passed on.

He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 11 March morning and is currently warded in an isolation room at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH). He is a family member of Case 167.

12 MORE CASES IN S’PORE, JURONG EAST, SENG KANG, YISHUN

12 more cases announced by MOH bringing the total cases to 178 cases.

M’SIAN VEHICLES CAUGHT WITH 634 CARTONS & 3,818 PACKS OF CONTRABAND @ WOODLANDS

According to a media release by the Immigration & Checkpoint Authority(ICA) Two vehicles were found smuggling cigarettes into Singapore.

The incidents happened on the 4 and 5 Mar, ICA officers managed to stop two attempts of two vehicles that tried to smuggle in 634 cartons and 3,818 packets of contraband cigarettes that arrived via Woodlands Check Point.

The officers instructed the drivers to stop and the vehicles were directed for further checks on various compartments of the vehicle.

A 28-year-old male Malaysian,29-year-old female Malaysian and a 45-year-old female Malaysian has been referred to Singapore Customs for further investigations. The vehicles used for the smuggling are considered forfeited.

PMD RIDER USE PHONE AND CROSS DURING RED LIGHT GETS KNOCKED AT WOODLANDS AVENUE 1

A PMD user was knocked down by a car when the traffic light for car is green.

Dashcam footages of the incident have been submitted online and the video shows the drivers encounter with the PMD rider who appears to be unharmed.

The incident happened on that 8 March at around 1.25 PM at Woodlands Avenue 1

As seen in the video, the PMD rider could still stand up and walk on his own, right before the PMD rider was knocked down, he was looking at his phone.

ITALY NOW HAS 10,149 CASES, USA HAS MORE THAN 1,000 CASES

The coronavirus has spread globally and there almost cases in over 60 countries worldwide.

  • In Italy, the latest figure is at 10,149 along with 631 deaths
  • In the USA, the latest figure is more than 1,000 infected with 31 deaths

Italy: The death toll increase by 168 within 24 hours and this is the highest deaths ever reported in a single day in Italy. 60 million people in the country were placed under quarantine as the government stepped up their efforts against the virus outbreak.

USA: People are starting to panic as the virus outbreak is growing and even the national guard was called in to help deliver food and supplies to the affected area.

The only person in the world that is not worried is probably Donald Trump and he treats the pandemic as a political tool and is in denial of the coronavirus.
