Pictures of an overturned car was recently uploaded on the Facebook page ROADS.sg.
The incident was due to a pedestrian who crossed the street without looking. The driver the jammed brake and swerved to avoid the pedestrian.
The incident happened along Jurong West Ave 5 towards Jalan Bahar at 0750 hours on 27/3/21.
A video was recently uploaded on the SG Chinese Community Facebook page which shows a condominium catching fire.
The condominium was Riversails and it is located at Upper Serangoon. The civil defence were seen at the scene as they tried to put out the fire.
The Facebook page SGRV recently posted on Facebook after a 42 year old food delivery rider was killed by a drunk driver.

A man went out on his usual food delivery run on Tuesday (March 23) night, but he never made it home.
The 42-year-old was waiting to make a turn at the intersection of Hougang Avenue 1 and Tampines Road when a yellow Mini Cooper #SLN800S hit him from behind at around 10pm.
The impact threw the man off his power-assisted bicycle and crushed the car’s windshield.
Photos showed the mangled bicycle lying on the road, as well as a food delivery bag with its contents strewn everywhere.
The food delivery rider was unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the police told AsiaOne. He died of his injuries hours later, leaving behind his wife and their eight-year-old daughter.
The police arrested the 34-year-old male driver for drink-driving and careless driving causing death.
Following the accident, several passers-by approached the injured man to offer help, with some checking on his condition and others shielding him from the rain with an umbrella.
Using the man’s phone, one of them called his wife to inform her of the accident.
The deceased’s wife said that she was startled awake by the call that night and rushed to the scene which was five minutes away from their home.”
I called my husband’s name but he didn’t respond at all,” she said. In her haste to get to the hospital, she didn’t manage to get the contact details of the driver who appeared to be drunk.”
I cannot forgive him and don’t wish to see him at the wake,” the bereaved woman sobbed, adding that the driver’s actions had cost her family a beloved husband and father.
She also thanked the Good Samaritans for their help, saying she is grateful that she could be by her husband’s side in his final moments.
As the police investigate the case, the deceased’s family is appealing for witnesses to step forward with footage of the accident.
A video surfaced online showing a guy abusing a dog that is presumably his.
He could be seen kicking the dog repeatedly in the stomach as the poor little creature backs into a corner of the room.

A man was seen resisting as he was being apprehended by 2 police officers.
He put up a struggle and could be heard yelling at the officers, warning them in Mandarin: “YOU KNOW WHO IS MY MOTHER OR NOT?!”
A passerby then intervened and helped the police officer pin down the man, but he overdid it and was scolded by the police officers to “STOP” and go away.

A video of a man who was unhappy that a bus was “taking too long” to arrive at a bus stop emerged on Instagram.
He could be seen shouting at the top of his lungs for the bus, which was about 100m away, to “HURRRRY UUUUUUP!”

Pichet Panapong, the Deputy Governor for Phuket, said that their country’s infectious diseases committee approved the proposal for vaccinated foreign visitors to be allowed entry into Phuket without quarantine from July onwards.
He said that Phuket hasn’t seen a new Covid-19 case in 89 days and needs foreign tourists urgently, to stimulate the economy and tourism industry.
Panapong added that they have over 1 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines ready for the local population.
He also added that those who are visiting without being quarantined would have their movements tracked using a Covid-19 tracing app while on the island (ThailandPlus).
They would need to show a vaccination certificate, vaccine passport or IATA travel pass, as well as take a PCR test at the airport.
Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, added that Pattaya would be next for a similar reopening scheme.

A 7-year-old girl, Khin Myo Chit, was cold-heartedly gunned down in her own home by Myanmar police, as she was running towards her father.
The Myanmar police were raiding the family’s home to “search for weapons and make arrests”.
They kicked the door down and asked the father if there were any other people in the house.
The family had tried to barricade the entrance of their home with bicycles but it was to no avail.
The father told the police that there weren’t any people home, to which the police said that he was lying.
They reportedly said “Don’t lie to us old man”, before they fired a warning shot.
The police then began searching the house and little Khin Myo Chit ran over to her father, wanting to sit on his lap.
The Myanmar police then fired a shot at the little girl.
The girl’s last words to her father was: “I can’t father, it’s too painful…”
She then died half an hour later.
The father couldn’t bring himself to look at the “security” forces after his little girl was shot, he just ran and carried her.
She was then rushed away in a car to seek medical attention.
The father also added that the police arrested his 19-year-old son and beat him up.
The Myanmar military has yet to comment on the little girl’s death, at the time of writing.
However, the military blamed them for “causing chaos and violence” in the country.
Save The Children, a rights group, have said that more than 20 children have been killed.
The Myanmar military has said that 164 people have been killed in the protests, although the estimated death toll is at least 261.

In a press released on 25 March, the Singapore police said that 6 men will be charged for their alleged involvement in an organised criminal group that was engaging in gambling activities.
They are the fourth organised criminal group to be charged under the Organised Crime Act (OCA).
The 6 men, aged between 34 and 63, were among 66 people arrested in a police operation conducted in 2018 and were first charged on 25 October 2018 for offences undere the Common Gaming Houses Act (CGHA).
They will be charged again in court on 26 March for numerous offences under the OCA, CGHA and Societies Act.
2 of the sextet are also facing additional chargs under the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Othre Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act.

A burglary that took place in Thailand didn’t turn out the way that the burglar expected.
The 22-year-old Thai burglar had broken into a house at around 2am, where he was supposed to steal from, but he ended up falling asleep in the house.
He took a nap on the homeowner’s daughter’s bed, he even turned on the air-conditioner in the room.
The burglar was then discovered and woken up by the homeowner, who is a police officer.
The burglar broke into the house sometime around 2am, when the police officer was fast asleep inside his bedroom.
The policeman then woke up and noticed that the air-con in his daughter’s room was running, even though she wasn’t home.
He went inside to take a look and found the burglar cozily tucked into his daughter’s bed with her blanket, sleeping snuggly.
The policeman then shouted at him, jolting the burglar awake, who woke up looking confused.
He was then arrested and is now facing burglary and trespassing charges.
