A food delivery rider was hit by a car during a traffic accident that happened at Kovan, on 23 March.

The rider was purportedly waiting a junction, during a red light, to turn right, when a Mini Cooper allegedly crashed into him from behind.

The delivery rider’s e-bike could be seen in a wreck as his food delivery bag and its contents were strewn onto the road.

The car’s bumper could also be seen dented and its windscreen was shattered from the impact of the collision.

Bloodstains presumed to be from the victim could be seen on the road.

In a Facebook update, the nephew of the rider shared that the victim, who was his uncle, has since passed away from the accident, alleging that the driver was drunk driving.

The family is currently appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A screenshot of a Instagram DM conversation between a tattoo artist (whom we previously wrote about for alleged sexual assault) and an allegedly underaged girl emerged on social media.

The guy said that “some of us at the shop are drinking and I was just wondering if you wanted to join us”.

To which the girl replied “I’m underaged”.

But the guy, seemingly undeterred, asked her “so you don’t drink at all?”

Adding that “that’s rare”.

The body of a 41-year-old man was found on a ledge at a HDB building yesterday evening (24 March).

The incident purportedly happened at Block 43, Bendemeer Road.

The SCDF and police were seen arriving onto the scene, as officers climbed onto the 2nd storey ledge where a tent used to cover dead bodies was set up.

The police said that they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at about 6.21pm.

A spokesperson for the police said:

“A 41-year-old man was found lying motionless at the said location and was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.”

At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing.

Secondary 2 students from Riverside Secondary School each received a brand new iPad on Wednesday, to help them in their learning by serving as a personal learning device.

It is part of MOE’s plan to encourage more “blended and self-directed learning”.

The school’s secondary 1 and 3 students will be receiving their iPads by the following week.

MOE will be making all personal learning devices available for all secondary school students by the end of 2021.

Students can use their Edusave account to pay for the device that their school has selected.

Education Minister Lawrence Wong said:

“We all want our students to be adaptable and nimble, and to keep learning and picking up new skills.

We want our students to have a positive attitude towards learning, and be more self-directed and intrinsically motivated.”

A video was recently uploaded on the Facebook page Singapore Incidents which shows the famous and lovely Vietnamese beer girl Yumi.

She thanked all her customers for the support they have given her and also said onw how her customers have striked 4D when they purchased her handphone number.

Some of her customers striked 2nd prize during last week’s 4D draw. One of her customers even printed out a sign for her shop which shows her contact number and her opening hours as well.
