On 2 February 2019 at about 8.30pm, an Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer directed a Malaysia-registered car driven by a man for checks at the Tuas checkpoint. During the course of checks, the ICA officer found a box containing 49 firecrackers in the boot of the car.

The man was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of dangerous fireworks under the Dangerous Fireworks Act, Chapter 72. Nineteen smokers were caught with duty-unpaid cigarettes during operations conducted in Geylang on 29 and 31 January 2019. They were issued with composition sums ranging from $500 to $800, depending on whether the person was a repeat offender and the quantity of duty-unpaid cigarettes in his/her possession.

The operations are part of Singapore Customs’ regular, island-wide efforts to suppress the demand for duty-unpaid cigarettes. Such operations complement our enforcement actions against peddlers and suppliers of duty-unpaid cigarettes. During a series of operations conducted in January 2019, Singapore Customs also arrested 10 peddlers in Geylang.

ABANG IN VIRAL SUMMON BY LTA FOR INTERVIEW AFTER INCIDENT

4325567435256Finally. Justice is here. While the incident itself, the passenger is the main culprit. But that didnt and shouldnt wipe away this abang slight misjudgement of the situation.

Point to note
1) Dispute with passenger and driver self decide to use the police as abitator. When it will be more appropariate to just stop the trip and feedback to company for advise.

2) While some netizens argue that he is on expressway hence unable to allow passenger to alight safely. But is there any police station which is just with a minute away from expressway?

3) Everyone is entitled to have their own views. But will that be most consistent? Hence our action toward roodie passengers have to follow standard available channel instead of self determine justice reaction.

4) some netizens had commented that his action of uploading the video is for purpose of fair treatment. Question is had company faulted him? Had LTA deem him as culprit? If no, then on what basis support his retaliation?

5) his video is raw clip with no mosiac, isnt that infringement of personal information? Allowing and condoning his act, equate to endorsing taking matters into own hand.

Anyway, from this episode. We can see clearly, many arent able to be impartial in judgement. Most are still lingering in past era of tribal mindset. Now is 2019, but sadly many are still living with 1990s mimdset. Ty51525836_10157245851163291_7221674761590407168_n

i ask her if she help me to check why my order is taking “FREAKING” long. She shouted back i scolded her vulgar language.

I was taken aback i repeat again and ask her the word “freaking” is a vulgar word???? She kept quiet n no respond. I told her ok can u get ur manager to call me.

This time round worst. She reply ok and she will get the manager to KILL ME and she repeated twice. I tot i heard it wrongly n I asked her back “what” i am just checking on my foods for hunger why must u get ur MANAGER TO KILL ME. She realised i was fed up and she apologise and change her sentence very fast . her next reply was “sorry actually i want to relate to u ” i will get the manager to call me back” but it was too late. I totally lost my cool

i am pissed off I told her i just called to check on my order n u are telling me u getting someone to kill me.
