Hi KFC

I visited your JCube outlet on 1/Jan/19 to have my dinner and was appalled by the cleanliness, service standard and food quality of this outlet. We ordered the goldspice chicken and signature grilled chicken. The goldspice chicken had a distinct weird taste and smell which my boyfriend described as the smell of “damp washcloth”, it was revolting to say the least.

I was given a replacement piece but that too had the same taste and smell. The meat and bones looked stale. As for the grilled chicken, it was so dry we were unable to finish it.

We had a hard time looking for a proper table too as every table was dirty. We did not see any staff cleaning up any tables throughout our entire dinner. The sink also looks disgusting with the thick layers of (oil?) stains.

The outlet has “A” rating for cleanliness and I wonder how. We will certainly not visit this outlet anymore and will also have our reservations about visiting other outlets too especially when there are so many better fried chicken alternatives out there.

What a dinner to start my 1st day of 2019.

savethecatsIn mid-November 2018, Town Council alerted me regarding multiple complaints about a particular HDB unit in Serangoon.

The cat owner refused contact with anyone at all. Finally, he decided to establish contact with a dear friend of mine. He reported he has 40 cats. 40! Help was offered to him. We arranged to meet up but he kept delaying the meetings.

Suddenly, we were told he had surrendered all his cats to the authorities! The cat owner did not tell us about this plan of his, and we were informed only by the authorities.

The authorities told us the cat owner only had 20 cats left in the house on the day of surrender, and they have already taken away the first 10 cats. The authorities also mentioned that the cat owner did not answer them when questioned on the whereabouts of the other 20 cats.

The 10 cats impounded at the authorities are on impending death-row. The deadline to bail all of them out is 11 January 2019.

I have already made arrangements to bail all 10 of the cats out. The condition is that they are to be first housed in a boarding facility first, as their health status is unknown.

I would also make arrangements to take over the remaining 10 cats from the cat owner, and also try to find out from him the whereabouts of the other 20 cats.

Please help. DSHs deserve to live, just as much as any other cats.

taitaiThe incident happened on the 7th of Jan 2019. The 33-year-old PRC woman was seen having a fight with his “regular flower boy” after the boy receives flowers from other patrons

Location: 5th Floor of Cuppage Plaza

It has been reported that this 33-year-old is a regular at this bar and often visits to find him. The woman got drunk and started quarrel with the guy outside the bar.

Shortly after the guy left she leap down from the 5th floor and lie motionlessly at the bottom.

A cleaner at the scene claims that there were not any commotion when the woman leap. Police are currently investigating in this incident

BUS AND LORRY CARRYING FOREIGN WORKERS ACCIDENT AT JURONG ISLAND!

accident2A video surfaced online shows an accident at Jurong Island involving a bus and a lorry carrying foreign workers.

The bus, which stopped at the side of the road was (legally) minding it’s own business until a lorry carrying some foreign workers at the rear, saw the bus late and hit the rear of the bus.

You could see the impact by the amount of those sitting at the rear of the lorry being pushed to the front.

Hopefully everyone is not hurt.

accident1A video circulating online shows an accident involving a taxi and a motorcycle before it loses control of the situation.

The taxi driver seem to be driving at a safe speed at first. But the taxi driver panicked when he hit a motorcycle on the side. In a state of panic, he tried to brake but seem to have lost control of his vehicle, hitting a car on the left lane before returning back to the mid lane.

It is possible that he missed the motorcycle on his blind spot as the motorcycle was in the middle of the 2nd lane.

We hope everyone involved in the accident is safe and recovering well.

dasdadasdasCrazy old man in Bedok North actually collects cans (feeder puts 1 can per block for water), bends them With a tool, plants them together in obvious places in the soil or in the open, then alerts Town Council that the cat feeder did it.

He even collects cardboards and gathers them and stuffs at other people’s bicycles.

He’s the culprit who tried to throw a spanner at a community cat and missed, and keeps throwing away cardboard box residents put for the community cats.
