NTUC STAFF DARE CUSTOMER TO COMPLAIN HER. BECAUSE ITS HER LAST DAY

434234141Hi NTUC,

I would like to give my feedback on your staff’s service. The name of the staff is Ms I I Liling and she works at the branch at 500 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.

On 7 January 2019 at 10:38 p.m., I was at self check-out counter. I was just asking your staff why there is no priority queue for elderly of the pioneer generation and why there was no announcement about this from NTUC. I did not scold your staff or use any abusive language, but yet she shouted loudly at me for being angry over such matter which led to other customers looking at me.

Subsequently, she came over to me and whispered in my ear that today is her last day at NTUC and thus she dares to scold me (these words were exactly what she said to me). When I requested to see her supervisor, she challenged me to make a complaint by flashing her name tag. She also challenged me to call the police and said she had other customers as witnesses.

Overall, she was behaving in a very provocative manner, constantly deliberately antagonizing me. I feel that I don’t deserve such behaviour from your staff,

when I have in no way behaved in an abusive manner towards her (as evident from CCTV recording).

I hope the management can seriously look into this matter. Please train your staff that even if they have tendered their resignation, they should still treat customers with respect.

Regards,
Mdm Tan

UPDATES FROM POLICE MEDIA: PLATINIUM DOGS CLUB

1231313131The issue has finally blown out and had the attention of our minister, AVA and the police investigating in the incident.

AVA/Police Media Release:

AVA and Police are investigating the allegations against Platinium Dogs Club and the incident at its premises

The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) and Police are aware of online posts and allegations concerning Platinium Dogs Club.

AVA and Police are investigating the allegations of animal mistreatment against Platinium Dogs Club, and the incident on 2 January 2019 involving a group of people outside its premises.

AVA had earlier commenced investigations against the operator of Platinium Dogs Club, which runs a pet boarding service, after receiving complaints on the latter’s alleged mistreatment of animals. AVA conducted two raids of its premises on 29 and 31 December 2018, and a total of 18 dogs and one rabbit were removed from the premises.

AVA takes animal welfare seriously and will not hesitate to take enforcement action against offenders. Under the Animal & Birds Act, those who fail in their duty of care towards animals in the course of conducting an animal-related business may face a maximum fine of $40,000 and/or a jail term of two years, if convicted.

In the afternoon of 2 January 2019, the Police were at the premises when a group of individuals gathered outside. Subsequently, the occupants of the premises attempted to leave in a car driven by a man. Despite advice by the Police officers to give way for their safety, a 40-year-old man in the group remained in the path of the reversing car as it slowly reversed out of the premises. The man later alleged that there was contact and pain in his knees, and was conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital for outpatient treatment.

The driver and the group of people, comprising seven women and four men, are currently assisting the Police with their investigations.

The Police and AVA’s investigations will be thorough and fair. The public is advised not to take matters into their own hands or engage in any actions that may violate the law or cause harm to themselves and others. The public should also refrain from speculation, and let the investigations take their course.

Anyone who wishes to provide information in relation to Platinium Dogs Club can contact AVA at 1800-4761600.

The woman involved with the Platinium Dogs Club saga has been arrested.

Facebook post by Sun XueLing

<<Platinium Dogs Club Case Update>>

– Operator arrested and assisting with investigations

Ensuring the safety and welfare of the animals has always been a top priority for the AVA for all alleged animal abuse or welfare cases.

The AVA is continuing investigations into the Platinium Dogs Club, including making further inspections. The operator has also been arrested and is assisting with investigations on alleged animal welfare-related offences. Investigations will be comprehensively carried out, and we will take enforcement action on any animal welfare infringements.

I am happy to know that several pet owners have been reunited with their dogs that were being previously boarded with Platinium Dogs Club. The AVA had taken the dogs into temporary custody previously to safeguard their welfare after a raid.

Let’s stay calm and let the authorities investigate the case thoroughly and fairly.

needleinfruitAnd I’m so lucky that found this needle in my fruits bought from NTUC FairPrice Extra at Jurong Point. Luckily I check it before I put them in my mouth. Or worst, my son.

So it was sealed now in a zip lock, and waiting for relevant party to contact me.

Thank goodness the writer managed to find this within.
