The AUD to SGD has dropped to it’s lowest in 10 years.
Those who have been to Australia knows how expensive certain items can be. But if you’re planning on venturing to the country down south, now would be a good time to change.
Some recommended places to change SGD to AUD would be at The Arcade @ Raffles Place as they have the most competitive rates in Singapore.
If you know anyone going to Australia, be sure to share with them this information before the currency gets ‘stronger’ again.

This is not an April fools joke. From 1st of April onwards, vehicles that are running on diesel will also have to follow the 3/4 tank rule.
So far this rule only covers Singapore registered vehicles.
As usual, if drivers do not meet the minimum fuel amount of “3/4” the driver may be fined up to $500 or prosecuted in court.
1 Jan 2019 2:23am, Silver Mercedes E200 model, car plate SDD2080L drunk driver drove into my car from the rear, causing me to collide with the taxi in front of me. He then exited the car, but didn’t have steady gait. Walking closer to him, he had a smell of alcohol.
I wanted his details but he was reluctant at first. He then decided to show me his driver’s license, of which I took a photo of. He wanted to settle without the police, but since the accident was really bad, I told him I have to call the police. He then panicked and decided to flee. He reversed and tried to drive off, but stopped at the traffic light.
I ran after him and told him to pull over at the side or it’ll be worse for him if he fled. He ignored me and drove off with the other 3 female passengers…
Ambulance took 1 of the taxi passengers to hospital…
Starting the new year with a bang sia tamade.
The incident happened early in the morning at Toa Payoh Blk 71 Lorong 4. The incident happened on the 29th morning
The police were alerted at around 8.30am. He was arrested under section 7 of the mental health act.
According to the witness on the scene, the man removed his pants and continuously mumble and laugh to himself. Many people tried to shout at him but there was no responses.
More reasons to get a motorcycle in Singapore.
Singapore has decided to remove the motorcycle toll on the second link expressway to Malaysia via Tuas. The amount to leave Singapore used to be $0.40. (We understand the amount may not be much for some people, but for those who are staying across the border with a Singapore passport, this could save them some money).
The decision was made after Malaysia has decided to remove the toll for motorcycle along the second link exit.
Take note that this will only take effect on the 21st of January 2019.
The introduction of the new foods will be tomorrow, 3rd Jan 2019.
Fans of salted egg can now enjoy it with fries. We suspect it would be something along the lines of KFC’s famous cheese fries, but with a little more spice in it. Other than that, there will also be peach pie, an alternative to McDonald’s own apple pie.
Also into the mix is pandan ice cream. While we try to get a grip on what it will taste like (because you know pandan leaves are used in nasi lemak etc.), our answers will come tomorrow.
Also coming back is the Ha Ha Cheong Gai chicken.

Hi, need help to ID the cyclist. This happen in 30th September 2018.
A cyclist used his bike as a weapon to attack my friend’s car.The cyclist lifts up his bike and smashes the pedals across the bonnet.
He then fled leaving deep scratches.

TP report have been lodged against the cyclist and after waiting for a couple months with no result.
We hope the public can help us to ID the cyclist.

For those who is a frequent crosser of the border, this is just a reminder.
Malaysia’s ban of smoking within eateries has taken effect as of 1st January 2019. For those non-smokers, you can finally rejoice as you can now enjoy your food without smelling the smoke of cigarettes. For those who smoke, please do be considerate and respect the rules of the country.
The ban has some eateries feeling worried as some of the patrons would go to their eateries to have some food, drink and then have a stick. Those who spend their time at mamak shops, they smoke while enjoying a football match. Some say with the ban intact, many would avoid coming down to their eateries.
Is this a good move for Malaysia? Or will it be overlooked?
