iphonexsThe latest incremental change from Apple already has solid backers (or resellers).

An unofficial queue has started forming outside Apple’s Orchard Central outlet. For those of you who are interested, please bear in mind that it is an ‘unofficial queue’. The official queue is yet to be announced.

The iPhone XS, is almost identical to it’s last phone, the iPhone X. The biggest difference is that it comes included with the A12 Bionic chipset, up from iPhone X’s A11 chipset. It also comes with 1GB more RAM than the iPhone X.

In terms of storage, the iPhone XS will come in 512GB, something that the iPhone X is lacking. In terms of anything else, the change does not really feel like an ‘upgrade’ but rather an ‘incremental change’.

Also, dual sim has been around for years.

The cameras that NEA will use will be equipped with heat-detection capabilities which can detect any smoke. The camera itself will be able to zoom up to 100 meters. They are doing this to deter ‘indiscriminate smoking’.

There are also talks that they would use facial recognition so that they know who is the offender.

Seems like we will be losing our privacy.

sembawangbeachThe body was found floating along the waters of Sembawang beach.

Passer-bys who saw the body quickly sprung to action as they bring her body closer to shore and checked if she was still alive. A beach-goer immediately performed CPR on her while the police and ambulance are on the way.

It is currently unknown if she is alive. We hope she will recover from this to tell us the story.

The suspected alcoholic drinks that contains the poison are brands such as Grand Royal Whiskey, Mandalay Whiskey and Kingfisher Beer. Methanol is a substance banned around the world since 1983. A total of 291 bottles of alcoholic drinks have been confiscated.

Those of you who frequent to Malaysia to drink, please avoid all these drinks at all costs.

The company, SRC Recruitment LLP was served with a license suspension and they are unable to provide helpers in Singapore.

MOM is currently investigating whether to prosecute them for any infringements under the Employment Agencies Act. They also condemn such ways of advertising their business. MOM has since posted on their Facebook to warn employment agencies to not practice such methods for providing maids to families.

The Indonesian embassy was informed that they are currently investigating on this matter.

“My friend was taking the bus 43M home. At around 
5.30pm, my friend felt someone touching her hair. When she turned around she saw a guy pulling his hands back. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

After she dropped off at Nex, she got increasingly concerned so she checked her hair and was told that her hair got cut. She has made a police report.

According my friend, the man may have got on the bus at Serangoon Sports Complex.”

Dubbed the Playstation Classic, it will come with 2 controllers as well as fan favourite games such as Final Fantasy 7, Ridge Racer 4 and Tekken 3. The console will include 20 games as well. Unlike the traditional Playstation 1, this one does not use the old AV cable. It will adopt the modern HDMI.

You can get it from your favourite game stores at $139 and it will be released on the 12th of October 2018. It would make a good gift for the old school gamer.

hitchI understand that there is a train service disruption today on the EWL and hitch drivers are making the extra mile to help the public like us to defray our fares, but please, proper dress code can? Stop giving excuse that you drivers are going to school, IPPT or gym or just finish gym as a reason for wearing indecent attire like singlet and PT shorts, short that is so short and looks like an underwear.

Took a hitch today as I was rushing for an important appointment, got a hitch, a Honda Jazz driven by a young student driver, and guess what, he too, came and pick me up, guess what he was wearing? A black PT shorts with singlet! When I asked him, he said he was heading to school near my destination after gym!

Wow, so now even hitch drivers are distracting their own roles and the public is it? At the first glance I thought he was wearing black undies with just singlet and slippers! He still got the audacity to tell do some stretching and wear a short singlet, and when he stretched his arms right next to me, he exposed the top of his yellow underwear! That was disgusting!

We pay so much for a ride and yet we see this kind of drivers serving us, it’s truly an insult! I wonder what is in their mind now? Hitch means can anyhow dress? Soon you will see drivers wearing pyjamas driving. Can they just be properly dressed?

I hope our LTA and applications like RYDE and Grab can look into it and make dress code for hitch and private hire cars to be strictly button shirt with pants, or in fact, formal wear and those driving limo and premium cars to be wearing suit with tie! That is how dress code should be like.
