MOSQUITOES BREEDING NEAR NEA BUILDING. NEVER CHECK?

0

mosquitoDear NEA, as you are searching and preventing mosquito/Aedes mosquito from breeding and living in all other parts of Singapore, fining all other companies and residents, you may have over looked the area near to your base, NEA building nearby Newton Mrt Station Exit B.

This area is full of Aedes mosquito. Just by standing at 1 spot for less then 5mins, a dozen of those aedes mosquito came to feed not only on me but others that may be standing at the area looking for directions or waiting for someone.

Please do not go so far everyday to do prevention when the problem is just near you.

PLASTIC FOUND IN PORK SOLD FROM GIANT SUPERMARKET!

plasticporkThis is not the first time plastic is found in our daily necessities.

A video surfacing online shows a lady who was enjoying her meal, found pieces of plastic while eating. We have had a lot of scares in the past whereby people use cardboard in pau, or change glutton on abalone. We even had plastic rice!

One can never be safe when trying out even their most trusted brands.

0

smrtfaultWere you one of the people affected this morning?

It seems that our resources has not been kind to us. First, a power failure affecting some areas islandwide. Now, we have train faults at really unexpected timings. Could the issue be with the trains that we use are not compatible with our system? It seems the issue is always recurring.

What are your thoughts?

ICA TOLD LADY TO ‘BORROW MONEY’ BECAUSE CARD NOT ACCEPTED!

passportI had the worse experience at the e-kiosks today, where i was unable to make payment because the staff told me i was not using a DBS card (it was clearly indicated on payments page that StanChart is accepted) and she had the audacity to tell me to borrow money from other people at the e-kiosk.

E-kiosk service was bad, customer service was bad, there was no queue line to begin with and initially, no staff to guide users.

Best of all, staff were in home clothes, no uniform or identification on them to state that they are ICA staff.

Want to borrow money from who sia?

DO YOU FIND THIS SHIRT OFFENSIVE?

0

pinoyshirtYou guys remember the shirt of the flag of India hidden behind the flag of Singapore? We have a contender.

A photo shared by our reader shows a photo of a shirt that says ‘I May Live in Singapore, but I was made in the Philippines’ being sold on Instagram. Personally, we welcome any one who would share our values, but not at the sake of vanity.

Have any one seen this shirt around?

DRIVERS, DON’T GET CAUGHT CAUGHT! OTHERWISE..

200-12Think nobody is looking when you’re using your phone while driving? Think again.

A man was slapped with a fine of $200 as well as 12 demerit points for driving while using his phone. For those of you who are unaware of the demerit points, all you need is to collect 24 demerit points and you can kiss your license goodbye. A previous easy way to get the full 24 points is speeding of above 120km/h and beating a red light.

Drivers beware. Should you need to look at your phone, do stop at the side. It is considered ‘Using your phone while driving’ the moment the car moves, even at 1km/h.

SIA PILOT REQUIRE ONLY INDIAN CITIZENS! HOW LIDDAT?

indianpilotsAnd I thought the criteria of becoming a pilot is to have perfect vision. I guess that is not the case.

A post surfacing online stated that Singapore Airlines is looking for cadet pilots. What made it strange is that the requirements (other than having the qualified papers), is that you have to be an Indian Citizen. What’s more, lodging will be provided!

If it is not hard enough to get a job as a pilot in Singapore for Singaporeans, imagine how furious we would be if we find out that the future batches of pilots for SIA are not locals.
