Previously a video of a woman hurling vulgarities and throwing pork at the Malay neighbour caused quite a stirred and many questions the mental health of the woman who committed the acts.

Even after the Judge gave her the order to under go two-years of treatment, this did not deter her from throwing pork at her neighbours. This month alone she committed the acts on at least six occasions.

SATIRICAL COMEDY ANIMATION ABOUT COMMUTERS ENCOUNTER WHEN YOU TRAVEL FROM ONE END TO ANOTHER END OF MRT LINE!(VIDEO)

Singapore’s train journey be like..

Jalan to the West is a short 3-minutes satirical comedy animation which is inspired from the daily experiences commuters encounter whilst travelling from one end of the line to the next.
The title ‘Jalan to the West’ is also intended as a pun, where the team intended to refer to the famous Chinese folklore, parodying the journey of the monk as he travels to the West to receive scriptures from the Golden lands of the west. “Jalan” is a Malay word that refers to travelling, thus combining these two worlds which is able to translate a South-East Asian taste.

U can imagine how many passports she stamped that day with the wrong stamp and imagine how many Singaporeans end up in the Grill Room subsequently on their return.

INTERNSHIP FROM HELL AT BIZHUB ASIA PTE LTD!: POLYTECHNIC STUDENT!

Chanced upon this complaint. I have to say I agree that Bizhub Asia Pte Ltd is a really bad place to be working in. I did my 3 months’ polytechnic internship with them in 2015 and I was in short, mistreated as an intern.

On my first day or work, the Director (wife of the boss), told me and 2 other interns from another polytechnic that the office toilet is out of bounds for us: “The toilet is not open for interns. if you want to use it, you have to wash the toilet.”

I was 17 years old at that time, and the boss sent me to buy him cigarettes.

My jobscope was HR/Admin Support, but they made me vacuum the whole office every Friday. I overheard the boss and his wife saying, “We should hire more interns, cheap labour! they’ll do whatever we ask them to do because their grades are at stake.”

The boss even asked me to deliver his daughter’s homework all the way from Taiseng to his daughter’s school.

And yes, I know which male manager the writer is talking about. He made inappropriate comments about me and the other female interns too.

I was supposed to write a reflective journal every week that is to be read only be my lecturer. I wrote about the bad management in Bizhub in my journal. But I did not do anything that would upset them, because my grades were at stake.

On the last day of my internship, I was packing up my things. The boss saw my journal and asked to read it. I said no, it was confidential and only intended for my lecturer. He threatened to fail me and took the journal away from me. As expected, he was furious when he saw that I wrote unfavourably of Bizhub Asia. He called my lecturer and threatened to fail me again.

My lecturer Ii told her about everything beforehand when she came to visit me) asked if Bizhub Asia made me perform tasks that were out of my jobscope, the boss asked her, “So what if I did? Is it a crime?”

Long story cut short, he failed my internship employer’s appraisal. But my school’s board of directors had a meeting with my lecturer who supported me throughout, and decided to void Bizhub Asia’s appraisal and grade me based on my report alone. Thank God for my school’s support.

They also took away Bizhub Asia from the school’s list of approved internship employers.

4 REASON WHY DOES GOOGLE PROVIDE FREE MEALS TO THEIR EMPLOYEES!!

First, it doesn’t actually cost the company much.

Let’s say it costs $300K per year for Google to provide salary, benefits and overhead for a software engineer. (It’s often much more than that amount.) If the engineer works 2000 hours per year (40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year), that translates to $150 per hour. In the 5 minutes the engineer might spend waiting on the checkout line to pay for lunch, Google loses about $12 of labor – basically, what their lunch might cost anyway.

The employees often save even more time than that, by not needing to cook.

But it’s a great recruiting tool.

It adds to the “enjoyment factor” of coming to Google, either as an employee or as a visitor. The word spreads that Google has great office perks, and applicants are enthusiastic.

Who wouldn’t want this?

It gives employees incentive to work onsite.

It’s always better to get people to do what you want by making that easier. Google also puts zero-calorie drinks like fruit-flavored water at eye level. Higher-calorie drinks are lower, behind frosted glass. Google found that fewer people took the higher-calorie drinks with this setup.

And finally, it builds community.

Google seems to encourage employees to eat together, by having cafeterias that accommodate a variety of different food tastes and dietary restrictions.

Apparently, the snack bars (called “microkitchens” at Google) are also strategically placed between separate teams, to encourage them to cross-pollinate ideas.

SG STUDENT NEARLY LOST HIS VALUABLES WHEN KL TAXI DRIVER DROVE OFF WITHOUT HIM!

I feel that it is dangerous. I used to study there, in Kuala lumpur. There were many incidences.

One time I was leaving a classmates condo to go home. I saw a taxi parked at the side of the road. The driver was standing by his taxi. I told him where I wanted to go. Then I placed my guitar and backpack with my computer behind his seat and walked over to the other side to enter. Before I could do that, he drove off.

I had a shock. I ran after his taxi and fortunately there was a t junction. He had to stop. I opened his door and he looked at me and said in Malay “oh you haven’t got in the taxi?” I took my stuff and walked off. I had half a mind to punch him to be honest. My homework was in there and submission was the next day. Plus this made me feel like Malaysia was a bad place.

Another incident involved violence but I shall not mention it. Many things happened there for me. It was kinda hellish compared to Singapore.

NETIZEN SHARE HIS EXPERIENCE ON HOW BEING HOMELESS IN SINGAPORE IS LIKE!

Recently, I did an experiment to see if I could live in Singapore without using money and without going home. My eventual goal is to be able to do this indefinitely. After all, if you can live in Singapore without using money, then you are free from all fear such as job loss, business failure, losing your home, etc.

One of the things I needed to obtain was shelter for the night. I needed a place where I could be protected from rain, where I could close my eyes and go to sleep without fear of losing my possessions. Fortunately, Singapore is rather safe, and the 3 main interruptions I faced were:

  • Police officers patrolling
  • Passers-by talking
  • A really hard floor or bench

I discovered that lying in a secluded corner, on a piece of cardboard solved most of the problems. Except for police officers patrolling, because it seems they know all the secluded spots.

Secluded spots are where you will find the homeless sleeping at night. Or in the day. That is why you hardly see them.

Homeless people walk beside you on the street. Homeless people sit near you at fast food restaurants, because while churches turn them away and ask them to leave their premises, fast food restaurants welcome them to sit, eat leftovers, and sleep. Homeless people sit near you at food courts and hawker centres, watching you, waiting for you to finish eating before swooping in to eat your leftovers.

Homeless people sleep at Changi Airport at night. Not everyone who sleeps at Changi Airport is a weary traveller. There are about 20 homeless persons there. They have all their possessions on an airport trolley.

One of the best way to spot a homeless person is by the cardboard that they sleep on.

Visit Bras Basah Complex at night, especially the McDonald’s restaurant there. You will find homeless persons.

Visit Sungei Road at night. With the flea market closed, the homeless who used to sleep there at night have nowhere else to go.

Chinatown. Toa Payoh Central. These are all places where homeless people stay at night. In my neighbourhood there are two homeless persons that sleep at the void deck. You don’t see them if you are there too early.

There are homeless persons in Singapore. Be kind to one when you see them

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT HOLD ANY ITEMS FOR STRANGERS AT THE AIRPORT! (VIDEO)

The airport custom staff reminded all passengers or anybody NOT TO HOLD any items for others. Even if an elderly ask you to hold for a second. Tell he or she to put it on the floor. The trafficking of cocaine in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai is a Death sentence. After viewing the video, you will understand WHY. Always be alert!
