I am writing this post on behalf of all whose daily life is affected due to some inconsiderate rebellious young teenagers who is lack of family guidance.
I have attached pictures which i have took this morning, the neighbours living at BLK 317C YISHUN AVE 9, 6TH FLOOR, will not find this scene unfamiliar, with litters and cigarrette butts on the floor of the lift lobby, rubbish laying around the floor on the rubbish chute area, urine on the floor and etc.
Things do not get better after several police reports made and complaint letters/emails to Town Council, MP and HDB etc, infact things got worse.
We can see different groups of students wearing NORTHLAND SECONDAY SCHOOL uniform gathering outside this unit #06-XXX everyday, you can see couples doing obscene acts like touching each other in the public.
The cleaner complain seeing used CONDOMS being thrown at the corridors area.
On Monday night, they left 2 turtles in a syrofoam box and the water is very dirty with cigarrette butts and urine smell near the rubbish chute area.
Next morning, one of the turtles had died, and the whole rubbish chute area stinks! How can they be so cruel! Really hope something can be done soon and regain the peaceful life we once had
Netizen claim that a “pretending sleeping” uncle touch her on the bus.
Ladies,
beware of this “pretending sleeping” uncle who had used his left hand (which can be seen in the pic) to touch my breast where I was sitting in front of him in Bus 143 this morning. So mad
The one, I was madly in love with said, “I never liked you and all I needed was fun & sex, so now I got whatever I wanted. You just get lost. Who’d want to be with someone so pathetic like you. Whatever I say and do is just to get rid of you, as you’re of no use for me”.
My neighbor of next unit of EVERY FLOOR from 14th down to 2nd floor from their kitchen window are all “Japanese bread” !! We are being bombed by soiled sanitary pads everyday!
When I tell them about it.. they say these are not the worst and they had complaints to town council and MP but they did nothing…(Blk 699B Hougang St 52, under PM Lee’s Ang Mo Kio GRC). Please see attached photos of sanitary pad stuck on each floor of the flat and some that landed on the ground floor.
please think twice before sending your kids to Ichiban Montessori At HongSan. Please pardon my Long story.
We send our girl to this school in Jan 2017, the first week of school, teacher called me telling me that my girl bruised her cheeks when she banged into somebody in sch, she didnt emphasize how bad the bruise was, so I thought how bad would it be especially when she is just in pre-nursery, the kids she would be playing with would be same age as her, My husband picked her up and was shocked so he send me a picture of it, it looks so serious as though somebody punched her!!!
I asked the teacher why didnt she mention that it was that bad ? She replied me “it was our fault actually but we have to inform the parents first, otherwise when the parents bring their kids back home and finds out about the bruise, it wouldn’t be our responsibility any more since they have already left the school.” WHAT THE…HELL.. IS THIS?! I decided to ask to watch the cctv footage of this accident as I have my doubts that a simple accident can cause her to bruise so badly!!! The next day when I asked about it, the principal Charmaine said that it’s in the pipeline. In the midst of installing.
Last month, the school have chicken pox cases that was spreading rapidly among the students, as a mother with an infant at home i do have my concerns in case my girl contracts the virus and spread it to my infant who have yet to be immunised, so I asked the teacher what further preventive measures will be taken? The teacher was not aware of any new instructions so she say she will ask the principal, coming back to me, she said “we will sanitize the hand and check the temperature.” I couldnt believe that they cant come up with a better solution as this have been a daily routine and its not working at all?!?! I didnt want to ask more as her answers are just to brush me off.
Today, while bathing for my girl after school we found a big bump on her forehead(she have bangs so we didnt notice it when we pick her up). I asked my girl how did she get this bump… bang at school and she began crying very badly!!!Immediately we call the school, as expected they say that the accident did not happen in school as she have already left the school and we did not immediately spot the bump when we pick her up!!! if it did happen at home how would I NOT KNOW?!?!?! A bump of this size???? She would have definitely wail her lungs out!! Would a kid even tell a lie like this? Just 5 months in this school, my girl got hurt 2 times with no evidence that its just an accident!!
NO SENSIBLE EXPLANATION , NO SINCERE APOLOGY.
Despite saying that it is in the pipeline months ago, NO CCTV HAVE BEEN INSTALLED!!! 5 months not enough time for the school to install?? This school is unreliable and irresponsible, that I can no longer trust their service and have doubts about the origin of the “accidents”, we have filed a police report against the school and currently under investigation.

ONE: You can walk everywhere if you have enough time.
I’ve already planned this out. When I live without money on a long-term basis, I will walk from town to town. It takes maybe 30 to 60 minutes to walk from one town to the next. That’s how small and densely populated Singapore is.
TWO: We waste a lot of food.
Singapore is known for delicious food. But we are also very wasteful. Visit any food court or public eatery and just observe how much uneaten food is thrown away.
Nothing wrong with the food. Trust me, I ate it for 4 days. We’re just wasteful.
THREE: You can drink water from any tap.
More than 99% of the taps in Singapore have potable water. You don’t need to buy bottled water from anywhere. Just carry a reusable bottle with you and fill up at any tap. That’s what I did while on holiday.
FOUR: It is not illegal to sleep outdoors.
I always thought it was, until I tried sleeping outdoors during my holiday. Sure, the police will come and wake you, ask you questions, and ask for your identity documents.
But it’s not illegal to sleep outdoors. I’ve asked them, and confirmed it by reading the relevant part of the law (Destitute Persons Act).
FIVE: We throw away 80% of the clothing we buy each year.
A recent news article reported that, on average, Singaporeans bought 34 pieces of clothing a year and discarded 27
To put it in another context, you can find so much discarded clothing that if you were to wear one a day and throw it away, you would not have to wash clothes for the rest of your life.
SIX: The weather is predictable.
It’s either going to be hot or wet. Sometimes both in the span of 30 minutes.
We have lots of air-conditioned places, including shopping malls, public trains and buses, libraries, etc. which we use to seek shelter from the heat.
Temperatures will always hover between 28 to 34 degrees Celsius. Thunderstorms may come and go very quickly. On the rare occasion, light rain will fall all day.
But you’re never going to have to worry that the weather will turn super hot or super cold.
SEVEN: You can live without air-con.
Many modern households today install air-conditioning in their homes. Many Singaporeans say they can’t live without their air-con.
I can. My home has no air-conditioning. We use fans.
But y’know, we Singaporeans are so pampered. I remember a time when our public buses didn’t have air-conditioning.
EIGHT: You can see a church next to a mosque next to a temple.
Religious and racial harmony is a big thing here. Woe betide you if you play the religious or racial card.
We are proud to belong to a society that respects other religions and races, because we are Singapore!
NINE: We live in a hole in the wall.
We (are told that we) have very limited land space. Majority of us live in public housing, which are basically holes in the wall just large enough for us to have sex[2].
And we slog for 20 years to pay for the hole in the wall that doesn’t really belong to us and whose value falls to zero when the lease expires after 99 years[3].
You asked for interesting things, right?
TEN: You can get free wifi and internet almost anywhere.
There’s Wireless@SG which you can get from many public places. And if you’re at one of the public libraries scattered across the island, you can use the multimedia stations to access the internet. ($0.45 for 30 minutes usage).
So technically you could live without wifi at home and everyone will talk more to each other instead of looking at their mobile devices all the time
