With the absence of Singapore Prime Minister’s from One Belt One Road forum held in China earlier in May is “a turning point moment in county affairs and distinct the end of the era of good-natured ties that Lee’s father, Lee Kuan Yew, had so meticulously fostered with Asia’s economic giant.”
The pro-Beijing newspaper, The Global Times said that “This was the view of “seasoned Asia-watchers”,
For the amateur, The Global Times is gaze upon as the automobile whose “messages are a broadcast from inside the core of CCP influence.”
It says, for example, that “it is clear that the Chinese are planning the megaproject [One Belt One Road] to detour Singapore.”
It also speaks that the nations of Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam, have all “lately repaired boundaries with China and detached themselves from the US.”
“Their leaders, like those elsewhere in Southeast Asia, understand that the Chinese can offer them far better aids in the 21st century than the Americans,” the newspaper said.
“Strangely, Singapore’s current frontrunners seem ignorant of such basic certainties. That leaves the Lion City as the sole, noticeably pro-US country in Southeast Asia. It must feel very lonely.”

I encountered a few unsatisfactory happenings with Uber.I called a UberX this morning. The app showed my pickup address is my home, which is correct. It showed that a car would arrive in 5 minutes.
I waited for the car for 25 minutes. During this interval, the app showed the arrival time as 2 min, 1 min, 3 min, etc. Finally, the driver called me and said that he is waiting for me at the pickup point which is a different location. I don’t know why Uber gave him a wrong geolocation (instead of my address). The driver then cancelled the booking.
I found next to that Uber charged me $6 for the cancelled booking. I went through the app to get a refund. The app accepted the request and said that a refund of $6 would be given to me as a credit to be used for the next trip. It should appear in my app under Payment.
I went to check the credit. It did not appear.
There were two previous occasions where this “disappeared credit” had occurred. Two months ago, I cancelled a booking after discovering that Uber gave a wrong pickup point (as their GPS was not working correctly). The charged a fee of $6 to me and later give me a refund after my explanation. The refund appears in my account but disappeared after a few days.
I used Uber in Malaysia. The driver cancelled the booking after 20 min. I reported to Uber and they credited MYR 5 to me. The credit never appeared in my account.
I had a difficult time to contact Uber on these issues. I find their business practice to be unsatisfactory

I’m a girl and 26 this year. I’ve dated previously but was never in a serious relationship and is still a virgin. However, I chanced upon this app recently and started to s*xt with people from other countries anonymously. I feel quite disgusted by this and I know people around me will judge me if they ever find out.
But yet I also don’t want (and find it difficult) to stop because it feels good and liberating and I don’t think there’s anything wrong about it. Sigh, what should I do? Should I just delete the app and date around to start having s*xual encounters with people
Should I just delete the app and date around to start having s*xual encounters with people irl? Or should I just continue s*xting people and keep it as the darkest secret of me?
This scam is actually very cleverly worked out that you will not suspect of anything wrong:
The following is an account of the incident.
Wednesday a week ago, I had a phone call from someone saying that he was from a company called: “Express Couriers,” He asked if I was going to be home because there was a package for me that required a signature.
The caller said that the delivery would arrive at my home in roughly an hour. Sure enough, about an hour later, a uniformed delivery man turned up
with a parcel and a bottle of wine. I was very surprised since there was no special occasion, and I certainly didn’t expect anything like it. Intrigued, I inquired as to who the sender was.
The courier replied, “I don’t know, I’m only delivering the package.”
Apparently, he said the sender would want to give you a surprise and a card would be sent separately…, it happened that my birthday was on the way also, so we thought could be a distant friend. There was also a consignment note with the gift.
He then went on to explain that because the gift contained alcohol, there was a $7.50 “delivery/ verification charge,” providing proof that he had actually delivered the package to an adult (of legal drinking age), and not just left it on the doorstep where it could be stolen or taken by anyone, especially a minor.
This sounded logical and I offered to pay him cash. He then said that the delivery company required payment to be by credit or debit card only so that everything is properly accounted for.He added they also don’t carry cash to avoid loss or likely targets for robbery.
My husband, who by this time was standing beside me, pulled out his credit card, give to him to swipe the card on a small mobile card machine with a small screen and keypad and asked to key in the verification code.
Frankly, at this point we never suspect anything out of normal and a receipt was printed out and given to us, he then wished us good day and went off as normal,
To our horrible surprise, between Thursday and the following Monday, $5000 had been charged/withdrawn from our credit account at various ATM machines.
Apparently the “mobile credit card machine,” which the deliveryman carried had all the info necessary to create a “dummy” card with all our card details, of course with the verification code.
Upon finding out about the illegal transactions on our card, we immediately notified the bank to stop payment, but already too late.
We went to make a Police report and was confirmed quite a number of households had been similarly hit.
WARNING: Be wary of accepting any “surprise gift or package,” which you neither expected nor personally ordered, especially if it involves any kind of payment as a condition of receiving the gift or package. Also never accept anything if you do not personally know or there is no proper
identification of who the sender is.
Above all, the only time you should give out any personal credit card information is when you yourself initiated the purchase or transaction!
PLEASE Pass this on, it may just prevent someone else from being swindled

I Saw this Similac Gain Plus Stage 3. in JB Aeon. The price is about RM130 before discount for a 1.8kg tin. Similarly, SG is selling close to $90 which i just bought at Sheng Siong.
What is really shocking is that Similac from AEON JB is now Product of Singapore!!! So a product of Singapore is being exported out to Malaysia and is being sold much more cheaper than in the production country of Singapore.
Well done……Kindly make this viral so everyone knows how much over priced milk are in SG.

Yam Hai Hong 54 year-old man turned out of control against a cab driver, hitting him on the cheeks and 8 times on the rear of his skull after he was told that he could not pay for his ride by NETS.
Yesterday according to court proceedings, 4 weeks after being charged with causing bodily injury to Mr Muhammad Hairi Rahiman where the former restaurant manager was penalised, also 54 years old. As a outcome of the incident, Yam had lost his job.
Last year on 9 October, Yam boarded Mr Hairi’s taxi beside New Bridge Road and requested to be sent to Block 483 Admiralty Link. Before boarding the taxi, Yam said that he had requested Mr Hairi whether he could make payment thru NETS.
When he gotten to the destination, Yam got fed up with Mr Hairi after he was told that he could not use NETS to make payment. Yam also assumed that the argument got intense because he was taken to the wrong place.
Yam turned vicious in the middle of the quarrel, yelling at the taxi driver who tried to call the police. When both the victim and the taxi driver came out of the taxi, Yam pressed and beat the man. The vehicle’s in-car camera videotape took down the clash.
The assault caused Mr Hairi to suffer a black eye for which he sought treatment at a polyclinic.
