HONEST DRIVERS WHO GO THE EXTRA MILE & GIVE GOOD SERVICE SHOULD BE REWARDED BY GRAB!!

On monday evening, I took a grabcar from tanjong pagar to northeast after work. Maybe because I was feeling abit tired from first day of the week, I decided to let lose my belonging during the ride and left behind my ipad after alighting. After I alighted, I decided to routinely check if I had all my valuables with me. My wallet, phone, keys and to my horror, my ipad was missing!

Gave a call to the grabcar hotline and reported the loss, and was told to patiently wait while they try to contact the driver on my behalf. After an agonizing half an hour (my ipad was work related), i received a call back from Grab to tell me that the driver had found my gadget and advised me to contact the driver directly to arrange a collection privately.

Called the driver and he promptly delivered the gadget back to my address after completing another trip, without expecting anything in return. Of course, I offered the basic courtesy of reimbursing him for the trip. What an honest and commendable act, Grab should consider rewarding such admirable behaviour which reaffirms my faith in private-hire services. Faith in humanity has been restored.

Dear Singapore Uncensored,

I have a colleague who like me but I had already rejected his advances. Ever since he been stalking appearing in places where I usually hangout after work. Always putting his eyes on me giving me the extra stare. It’s like I can feel his eyes trying to undress me.

One day I had a very bad cold so I was sneezing all the way he came over and drop me a packet of tissue and walked away with uttering any words. Why not right since I would need to use I check to make sure that is unopened. Before lunch I finished all the possible tissue I had including his on my desk.

One of my lunch mates forgotten something so she headed back to retrieve it to to her horror she saw “him” smelling my used tissue and putting into a zip lock bag. She pretended she never so she quickly left the place in disgust without getting her things. What can I do I really love my job and plus he haven’t done anything that is against the law.

Being a loving granddaughter, this taiwanese girl brought her grandmother a classic Louis Vuitton designer bag as a gift.

On her visit to her grandmother, she saw her grandmother waving at her while carrying the LV bag filled with groceries and fresh fishes.

Her grandmother told her that the bag is very good as it is waterproof.

She saw how happy her grandmother was using the bag so she did not tell her this was actually a designer bag.

She ended her post by saying, “No wonder LV bag has such a good reputation, it can last really long and is very durable!”

“I got approached 3x in a day by Pinoys selling me a box of cupcakes for $10.?

Inside the clear plastic container has 5 cupcakes with different flavours.

1st guy approached me at a shopping centre and started spewing out the overly hypocritical greetings and saying ” im islam as well ” and i replied ” so? ”

2nd guy approached me when i was at the wet market buying groceries and saying he’s a student and he’s selling it to finance his studies.

3rd guy approached me when im at Marina and said he’s selling cupcakes to fund this awareness thing. I can’t remember.

I bought one just to test water and the verdict is the cupcakes is the same as the rest of the cupcakes you buy from home made sellers. No flavour, not moist. Just plain looking. Probably on my assumption, the cupcakes were repacked and sold for a profit. lol. Just giving a heads up for all of you”

MAN SMOKE AT GEYLANG POLYCLINIC. NO REGARD FOR THE LAW

Complete disregard for the smoking prohibition law and the fact that the No Smoking sign was right next to him. This idiotic smoker was smoking outside Geylang East polyclinic on 3 Apr 2017 at 0945hrs. — at Geylang East Polyclinic.

This d*ckhead was staring at the signage but continued to smoke there. A blatant disregard for the law.

His inconsiderate smoking at a medical centre clearly shows smokers are selfish. The entire area was polluted by his stinking habit. If only the sales and import of tobacco was banned that would be the best for everyone.

The NEA should carry out more enforcment and weed out such scums who persist to smoke up NO SMOKING places like medical centres, bus stops, main entrances of major buildings and malls, multi-storey carparks and basements.
