Beware Of This PRC/Taiwan Drink Product. Child Fainted After Drinking This Beverage.

The drink known as Black Powder with Chinese words written on it has caused an internet uproar.

A child in Bangkok purchase this tea alike drink and drank it. This drink contents an unknown substance that caused the children to become dizzy and fainting after drinking it. It has been reported on official channels that the drink is not approved by Thailand standards and officials are investigating the incident.

Please note that it is common for products from China/Taiwan, especially tea like bottle beverages to get imported to southeast Asia countries.

Chinatown sells all sorts of weird drinks you have never seen before. I’m not surprised if this drink is sold there.

Please note that if you ever see this drink. Please do not drink it and do not give it to children.

An Indian worker from Hyundai Engineering and Construction died after falling height. One died another send to Singapore General Hospital. The incident happened around 11 am on 1st of March 2017.

There have been speculations about how the incident occur. It’s best we leave this to the police to investigate before making any claims.

On Wednesday ( 1 March 2017) in an operation at Yishun industrial building Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) confiscated 970g of heroin worth more than $68,000.

4 suspects was arrested in the operation, 48 years old Malaysian man, 45 years old Malaysian woman, 29 years old Singapore man and 52 years old Singaporean man.

More than $8,000 cash were found in the possession of the Malaysian man.

Investigation is ongoing.

Those convicted of trafficking more than 15g of diamorphine or pure heroin can face the death penalty under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

During this period of time, Suvarnabhumi airport will standby reserve fuels for all standby flights to ensure the smooth running of the runway. Thus, ensuring that time of planes spends in the airport are maximize and making it more efficient.

However, all airlines will be affected and extra fuel surcharge for this period WILL BE applied to passenger tickets.

67-year-old man Liang Weiming who lives in Tiong Bahru area (67, retired), played the game the day before yesterday at  Marina Bay Sands (MBS) when catching Lapras. After catching the water Pokemon, a heart attack occurred. Resulting in the death of the retiree.

It has been reported by a netizen that he received this fake OCBC login alert email and site phishing for his banking login credentials. The phishing email came with subject OCBC internet banking – login alert!

When I moused over the link asking for authentication, it shows the link as “selltheteamdan.com/op/1/login.htm” which is not an official OCBC login page.

Please warn Singaporeans about this new phishing scam and safeguard your banking details.
