CHANGI AIRPORT TO REOPEN TERMINAL 1 & 3 TO THE PUBLIC FROM 1 SEPT ONWARDS

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced in a statement on Friday that Terminals 1 and 3 will be reopened to the public from 1 September onwards.

The terminals previously saw a 3 month closure due to the pandemic.

Arriving passengers will be segregated from the public, as Singapore expects to see an increase in traveler numbers following their border restrictions being eased.

Han Kok Juan, the director-general of CAAS, said:

“We are satisfied with the safeguards put in place by CAG and the airport community for the reopening of Terminals 1 and 3.

“As Singapore takes cautious steps to further reopen our borders, we need to ensure that Changi Airport remains a safe airport for travellers coming into and transiting through.”
